  1. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Parj ji, just keep doing your sewa despite such commitee members "antics." Just tolerate it and do ardaas to Vaheguru Ji. Just remember, Vaheguru knows everything going on, dont let other peoples paaps fall onto yourself. Bhul Chuk Maaf Karna Jeoo....thada shab tho shota veer. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  2. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Just a post to remember the tragedies of 7/7 last year...feel free to post your thoughts or such but please dont turn it into a debate or arguement please... Dhan Dhan Vaheguru Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  3. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj Ji's own horse not to go into a tobacco field, so surely we can show some constraint? Parj ji, if your trying to become a Sikh of the Guru then you will have to avoid working with meat and alchohol. Another sakhi, Bhai Joga Singh, was a Sikh during the time of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj, he left during the middle of his laavan, of his Anand Karaj, because Guru ji sent for him...if Bhai Joga Singh Ji could make that sort of sacrifice, surely we can make a smaller sacrifice of not working in such an environment where we might be called upon to handle such things as meat and alcohol? But aside from that...do an ardaas to Guru Ji and your answer will be revealed in a magic cloud! jus kidding about the cloud! but Guru Ji will point you in the right direction! Bhul Chuk Maaf Karna Jeeo, thada sab tho shotaa veer.... Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh p.s. Daas would love to see, and without doubt Vaheguru Ji would love to see, every post start and end with a full Fateh! Imagine how many times you will read the word Vaheguru while u browse the site!
  4. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I agree completely with the article on baana.... Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  5. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Veer ji, many thanks for the reply! Daas has since realised he is a faithless cynic himself... Daas hopes Guru Ji keeps you in chardi kala! Take care! Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
  6. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Parj ji, great to have you posting again! You always seem to find the right post to put up! Just one question tho, Guru Ji talks about "faithless cynics" are these people who don't believe in Sikhi, people who will take your thyaan away from Guru Ji and naam?? Bhul Chuk Maaf Karna Jeeo.... Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  7. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Penji, im not amrit dhari so dont take my words as if im preaching...i think u should let the feelings come but also let them go by jus letting the thought pass and getting over it by doing simran as soon as you start having such thoughts or feelings...you'l slowly overcome it and these feelings will fade! and in return ul have done 5, 10, 15mins worth of simran, so it cant be all bad can it?! Also, iv always heard and read that for a Sikh, the most powerful tool we possess is the Ardas, do an Ardas to Guru Ji with your heart and soul that you dont have such feelings, or attractions, and that you see everyone as your brother/sister. mother/father and so forth! Save any relationship for that of a marital one where you will be joined with Guru Ji furthermore! Bhul Chuk Maaf Karna Jeeo thada shota veer.... Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  8. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Bhai Sahib, i would say to do an ardaas to Guru Ji and then take a hukamnama, all your questions will be answered regarding allowing your dog in the room you do kirtan! But apart from that, thats one lucky dog you have! Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  9. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!! Penji, I'm sorry this had to happen to you...I wouldnt wish it on anyone... I can understand your worried about the repercussions telling your family might have....and they may point the blame at you...even though you did absolutely nuthing wrong....but im asking you to have faith in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Mahraaj, have faith in the Almighty Vaheguru Ji, they'l protect you every step of the way...Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj gave everything for us to be able to be Sikhs in this day and age, he gave his kids for the panth, he gave the heads of countless Singhs and ultimately gave his own head for the Khalsa Panth....Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj will give you the strength to confront this problem (and through every other problem you face) with your family, or whoever you choose to tell... think of the brave women throughout Sikhi, Mai Bhago led the 40 Mukthe (sorry if the spellings wrong) back into battle, how great was Mai Bhago who wielded the sword side by side with her brothers against the Moghuls...Dhan Dhan Bibi Deep Kaur, who fought ALONE against a group of Moghuls who were astounded by her beauty and aoura....Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj told Bibi Deep Kaur that Sikhi would flourish because of daughters like her...daughters like YOU!...theres many more sakhian like these not even mentioning the atrocities Sikh women faced during 84 and the following years... you owe it to yourself and these great women to stand up against these men who think its ok to be doing these sorta things in Guru Ji's house or anywhere for that matter... I hope you find the courage to come forward... Please forgive me as your younger brother if i've offended you or anyone else on the forum... Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!
  10. Why wait - lets just MUAHAHAHA it's no joke though they need dealing with! You sound like my Grandad he says this about the commitee members. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Someone used "SGGJ"? Are you trying to refer to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Mahraaj? Why do people use abbreviations to identify their Guru? The Guru, the embodiment of the Ten Guru Ji's, the same Guru, that Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraaj told us to follow. Are we becoming that lazy that we can't even write the full name of our Guru? Don't knock all of our elders running the Gurudwara Sahibs...they arent all bad...ok they could be doing things better but atleast they keep the Gurudwara Sahibs open for us to attend, how often do we go? How often do we go there and make our voices heard, lets just see wat a good job our youth make of it when they get their chance! Instead of "gunning" the commitees down, go talk to them, convince them to let you run your own youth programs and activities. As Kurtas said, No Gurudwara is bad, just the commitees can be, but then who are we to judge, are our jeevans so much more chardi kala? I hope I havent offended anyone...and forgive me if I have done (point out what was offensive) Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
