Ive been going to Kirtan Programmes recently and never seen Bhai Manpreet Singh Ji come no more. Hes kirtan is ber wicked.

Does anyone no why he does not come nomore and when his going to come back and start doing kirtan again

Probably because he lives in India and its abit difficult to make it down every weekend. As far as i know he is still doing kirtan, i have jus bought his latest CD

Fanaticism/talabanism is growing problem within sikh youth circles especially in UK. I am based in canada, i even heard from people there, that there are sikh gangs in uk known as AK-47- Allah Killers. If thats a case, these people are not deserved to be sikhs, they should shave their heads and join the gothic culture where they can fullfill their demonic aims.

People can chat it all they want but they know its true what the video shows and it happens in a lot shorter time span than that aswel.

You have to understand the concept of target groups and who the video is aimed at.

I think the opening thread was abit superficial.

In terms of extremists and fanatic sikhs, what do we actually mean?

Obviously you are talking of this issue due to your experiences, please give examples of events or things you have witnessed that make this question arise in your mind?

And when we talk about the "youth" who are supposedly 'extreme' and need to be 'suppressed' who are we actually talking about and what do they do that makes you say they are extreme?

Raags must be sung at the write times, as specified my maharaj. Reading bani as you do normally doesnt fall in this category. For instance you can read Asa di vaar when you wish to as it is bani and can be recited at your hearts content, all though it is written for the morning hence in Raag Asa.

key point: When singing ie. Kirtan it must be read at the right times according to the raag. Thats as much knowledge as i have on this topic. Please forgive for my mistakes.
