    "One who works diligently for the Guru, the True Guru - the GurSikhs work for him."

    I was looking at the thread about khalsa04 being sacked from domino's and read the post by akjforever saying that khalsa04 should take it as a sign not to work in a place where meat is handled... a valid point in my opinion....

    In the following shabad Guru Sahib tells exactly who should a Gursikh work for....

    This Shabad is by Guru Raam Daas Ji in Raag Gauree on Ang 317

    Fourth Mehl:

    siqgur ky jIA kI swr n jwpY ik pUrY siqgur BwvY ]

    sathigur kae jeea kee saar n jaapai k poorai sathigur bhaavai ||

    The sublime state of the True Guru is not known; no one knows what pleases the Perfect True Guru.

    gurisKW AMdir siqgurU vrqY jo isKW no locY so gur KusI AwvY ]

    'color:080088'>gurasikhaa(n) a(n)dhar sathiguroo varathai jo sikhaa(n) no lochai so gur khusee aavai ||

    Deep within the hearts of His GurSikhs, the True Guru is pervading. The Guru is pleased with those who long for His Sikhs.

    Veerji, u got your info a bit mixed up. According to what i know, Bhai Sati Das ji and Bhai Mati Dass jee were a total of four brothers, while it was Bhai Dayala Jee (or Bhai Dayal Das Jee) who had 11 brothers.

    Bhai Dayal Das Jee was son of Bhai Mai Das Jee and younger brother of martyr Bhai Mani Singh Jee. His grandfather, Bhai Balu Jee had attained martyrdom while fighting in Guru Hargobind Sahib Jee's first battle against the Mughals.

    10 out of 11 brothers of bhai sahib jee got shaheed, while one brother (Amar Chand) died in infancy. The names of his other 10 brothers are as follows:

    1. Bhai Jetta

    2. Bhai Mani Singh

    3. Bhai Dan Singh

    4. Bhai Man Singh

    5. Bhai Rup Singh

    6. Bhai Jagat Singh

    7. Bhai Sohan Chand

    8. Bhai Lehna Singh

    9. Bhai Rai Singh

    10. Bhai Hathi Chand

    Bhai Mati Das Jee and Bhai Sati Das Jee were sons of Bhai Hira Nand Jee. Their grandfather, Bhai Praga Jee, had been given command of a Jatha by Guru Hargobind Saahib Jee in the first battle with the Mughals in 1628 CE. He got shaheed from deep wounds sustained in that battle. After that, Bhai Hira Nand Jee presented himself in the service of Guru Har Rai Saahib Jee. Before his death in 1657 CE, he left Bhai Mati Das and Bhai Sati Das, elder of his four sons, in the service of Gurughar.
