  1. Got on my local bus. It was a comedy scene lol.

Terrified people. Scarves wrapped around their faces. Masks on everywhere. Everyone worried and looking petrified to touch anything. But it is serious as elderly can catch it from us.

At times like this wish I still had my car. Looks like it's inevitable most will catch it. It's the elderly that we have to isolate and protect as they are at most risk.

A few elderly relatives have been isolated.  So they are living on their own. We all have to get into the wartime conditions spirit. Stay at home. Avoid uneccesary contact. Wash hand frequently. And stay off the tube and buses. Don't eat out.

It's going to be difficult. But you have to stick to the regime.

I've been out and about consistently for the past few days, and based on what I'm seeing there's a few people out there who are not taking this situation well. White women keep kicking off with strangers and staff in supermarkets about trivial stuff, lol, while men are surprisingly chilled about the whole thing. Middle-aged apneean (under 50) born and raised in the UK are showing their true colours (breathlessly stuffing their trollies with cr4p) and being very skittish rude, whereas elderly black ladies are offering words of wisdom to anyone within earshot which is nice of them. There's a definite undercurrent of tension simmering away, and I think we're a month or so from things kicking off if it gets worse.

If things go utterly pear shaped and people start dropping like flies, always retain your dignity. Go out on your feet, not on your knees. Chardikala until the end.

I've seen many white men with masks lol.

Many whites are getting their knickers in a twist and think their life is over.

Coronavirus. What do we know ?    We know the rest of the world is trying to prevent any of it's citizens getting it whereas the UK is actively trying to ensure at least 50% of it's citizens get it. From a purely selfish point of view I'd like to try and keep myself and family safe as per the advice in the rest of the world but from a purely scientific point of view there is great merit in the UK strategy. The answer - long term - is to create an immunity from the virus and the only way to ensure that is to create a herd immunity among the population. That will only come once enough of the population get it. This is actually good science and, reluctantly, I actually applaud the UK Tory govenment's stance against popular opinion.  Not that it's stopping me keeping my kids home from school though. A man has to make his own decision about what's best for his own family. But, when the worst is over and we're back to 'normal' will things ever be 'normal' again ? No. They won't. There will be a new 'normal'. That's what events in history are about. Things happen - we learn from them - and things become different.  After the worst of the coronavirus is over we know things are not going to be as they were before. The wearing of surgical masks will remain common. Skin-like gloves will become more common and advanced. The handshake will be the preserve of the older generation whereas the elbow tap will be the most common greeting among the young. And what of communal public eating ? The Langar.  We know things are going to change. They are going to have to because public attitudes among Sikhs about what is and is not acceptable from a hygeine point of view will change. But, tell me,  what in your opinion will those changes in the concept of langar be ?

    Lol

Don't worry about the world changing forever and forever. When they find a vaccine for this. You can go back to not wearing your mask and having a traditional handshake just as before and live your life as before.

So don't worry about the world changing forever and forever. And you having to wear a gas mask where ever you and not eating in the public and the globe suddenly stopping rotating.

Looks like someone has been watching a little to much news and getting a little over excited.

I knew of British Sikhs who used to own automatic assault rifles until they got outlawed in the 80s, people knew not to mess with Sikhs as they were peaceful but violent when provoked too. The elder sikhs of the 70s/80s/90s were a different calibre much more battle ready and willing to get criminal record and go jail for family, Sikhs and Sikhi. They came from a mentality that were hardcore types the ones that had the dilar brave-heart spirit having fought UK white racist skinhead street gangs, some traveled to india to fight indian army terrorists, they fought UK muslim groomer gangs and islamic extremists (shere punjab vs chalvey boys, khalifa786, hibz-ut-tahir/al-mahajaroun,etc) and when they weren't doing that they was beefing with each other too in southall (tooti nangs vs holy smokes).

Younger Sikhs of today are comfortable as they were raised with a different mentality. The environment has changed and so has the mentality naturally. Is it a bad thing? perhaps as Sikhs have prospered financially as they concentrated more in business and education. However they have definitely lost their street cred as being fearsome fighters. The blacks especially Jamaicans still have it the muslims have it. The Sikhs tend to get into that crazy fighter mode mentality when political, economic or living conditions become quite harsh I've noticed, so perhaps we will see a rise of Sikh fighting spirit in the near future.

Yep I also knew some hardcore Sikhs back in the 80s 90s who had firearms.

I knew one Sikh from Bham who was a well known legend. He went by the name of 'machine gun Singh'.

As he was known to have a machine gun and was not afraid of using it. Many feared and were terrified of him.. He was a big guy. 6ft 2 and gym goer. He was a very physically apposing . Eventually he had to leave Birmingham. As he beat up so many people and was involved in so much violence. He became a target for revenge by other criminal types in the underworld.

Criminals don't have any fighting spirit. They are just cowards who are just waiting to do time for their crimes.

Many of today's criminals commit crime out of pure necessity. Ie to feed a drug habit. Hence these people are prepared to do anything to get their next fix. This includes extreme violence. Gun point bank robberies, stabbings assaults. You name it, to get  money that will get them their next drug or alcohol.

Many are simply out of their minds and don't know what their doing. It's well known that a high proportion of crimes are committed under the influence.

Many criminals are career ones. These people have no hope of getting a 9 to 5 job and living a stable life. Their only means of income is crime. They have nothing to lose in life. So live a violent and precarious life. Getting attacked commiting henuous crimes and going to prison is a way of life for them. Many come from broken home. They have no heart or soul.

This kind of violence and aggression should not be mistaken for courage or being admired. They are low life people with no morals.

Yh their really different up there aren't they! Very gorafyed.   I literally felt like i just landed from a pind when walked into their house.  Their house looked very british.  They must of felt the same too looking at us thinking we we just came straight from punjab haha!

That is probably due to them being an isolated brown/asian community up north. It's not like living in Southall or Ilford were it's heavily populated with Desi's. Ie Asian restaurants, social events Asian shopping areas. It's like living in the real England. Preston and Blackpool are small towns with low desi population. It's a different matter in big cities up north. Ie Manchester and Midlands where there's big population of us Desi's.

Ie its all about having 10 pints down the local boozer. Wearing a Liverpool FC shirt and going by the name of Bob or Steve. Many are just white wannabes there.

Not in UK. Generally, most Keshdharee sikhs / gursikhs are family people here, they are professionals who stay away from violent confrontation. They have comfortable lives.
I think the moneh who are involved in crime / drugs have more fighting spirit.

Even in Punjab, sikhs aren’t what they used to be. Look at the battle of saragarhi in recent history....21 sikhs vs 1000s of afghans.

Sikh children often get bullied at school. I encourage all parents to send there children to jiu jitsu, boxing or thai boxing (these are most useful / practical in street fights from what I have seen)

We need to use our brain rather then brawn. It's not about mindless violence. Sikhs are minority community. We don't have numbers on our side like Muslims and Hindus or even blacks for that matter. Hence we need to stick together.

Not sure about the many Sikhs are bullied because we're soft. Many Sikhs are simply out numbered. So can't exactly fight a gang alone by themselves. If it's one on one many Sikhs can easily hand themselves in a fight

My family are absolutely obsessed with this Turkish Islamic TV series about small tribes of nomadic people rising against the powerful Mongol hordes and the mighty European crusader armies in the 13th century . Apparently it's similar to what Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj experienced in his life time against the powerful and outnumbered Mughals. Has anyone seen this movie and what do you guys think?

Thats true. Punjabis in multicultural places like west London areas are different to punjabis in white areas. I have family in Preston/Blackpool and they are so quite and different compared to the punjabis around here.

its Interesting that you mention these particular areas

I actually know the areas very well and have relatives there also. I have found the Sikhs up north ie Lancashire, yorkshire to be more gorafied. The type of Sikhs who will wear a turban made out of a union jack. Many you eould not be able to distinguish between the goreh. Many will act like a typical chavvy northern white person.

  11. I am not boasting or trying to big myself up in anyway. But whereever I go. People tend to fear me to a certain degree. Ie when my Kara is showing and I wear a t shirt with arms visible. People generally look at me in a fearfull way. As Sikhs have a dangerous reputation. When my Kara is not showing. People tend to not even notice me and presume I'm one of the South Asian faiths.

It also  helps that I'm quite a well built mean looking guy.

But is our reputation as people not to be messed with on the decline?

Also we as Sikhs have to individually keep the rep going. If we act weak. Then other people will presume we are all like that. I've made a point of giving a beating to someone. To instill fear of Sikhs as a people

Who is this woman?     she sounds like a right cow     in some old articles she called sikhs Islamophobic for speaking about grooming gangs, and said there is no evidence of muslims grooming gangs targeting sikh females.   she also trys to paint sikh men as radicals.

shes also written a book called " unsettling sikh and muslim conflict"  i havnt read that rubbish       but on amazon judging by the reviews on the back of the book it is really biased and is about how sikhs are Islamophobic, are having a identity crisis and that sikh identity in the uk is based on "good sikh vs bad muslim"

"  This book may be located within diaspora studies and the study of intercultural and interethnic relations, and more broadly, within the discourse on narrative performance where identity is viewed as intrinsically linked to storytelling. Using postcolonial theorists such as Said, Foucault, and Barthes, Sian attempts to interrogate existing narrative/s of 'Sikhness' that are rooted in tales of 'Sikhs and their battle against the Muslim enemy.' It is a battle centered on the notion of 'brave, courageous and heroic Sikhs' who emerge victorious in the face of 'oppression...and tyranny [by] the Muslim antagonist' (2). Stories, she rightly argues, shape identity. . . .Sian's narrative questions the present discourse and masterfully weaves her own story. . . .killfully expressed.--Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations"

Katy Sian is an eloquent and informed speaker/talker on public affairs such as society and religion. She is an esteemed and highly qualified theorist.

    Why question her credentials?

Hope Katy can further enlighten and guide us through her grace and knowledge.

check the thread i posted on about pro-islam sikh's they need to be aware of the agenda of the muslim extremists who target low IQ or impressionable/ vulnerable non-muslims for conversion in order to further their agenda.

Yep. Muslims specifically target the vulnerable and weak. these converters types are full to the rafters in universities and work places.

Many try and saw seeds of doubt in the minds of others to get them to question their faith.

  14. I'm not sure where this thread has gone as it's gone over many different topics.

All I will say is why help Muslims? Sikhs can't even help ourselves.

Yet we try and act all big nosed like we are some self defence force for the entire world.

I have many good Hindu friends and I would rather side with Hindu then a Muslim .Yet certain big nosers from Sikh commmity can't help brown nosing the sullereh. Like they think they have some special kinship with the halal meat slaughters.

Let's be real and not try and be all goody to shoes to please the world.

We aren't the Jedi of Earth no matter how much some of you fantasists want us to be. There's hundreds of millions of Muslims in India, billions in Asia. They can help their co-religionists. If the afflicted asked for shelter and other assistance I wouldn't refuse, but I wouldn't go galavanting around like a delusional hero.

There's won't be a throng of devte showering you with flower petals from heaven when you've done your little act of philanthropy and compassion. Wake up. Don't pass this useful id1ot mentality along to future generations. Look where it's got us so far.

Yep Sikhs should never help Muslims. Why should we help the people who want to convert us.

Yet we get those nambhi phambhi Sikhs who love brown nosing other faiths. To show how compassionate we are. While at the same time get a good rodgering for our attempts and pleasing all.

It time Sikhs went back to are martial traditions. Ie its Sikhs first others next.

It's time to get dirty and take off the gloves.

Don't know why some people are so scared of Hindus and believe they are a threat to us.and have some kind of inferiority complex.

The real threat is Muslims who want to convert all of India.

According to the article she converted when she was around 23 years old. Unless she is retarded (which might be the case??), we are talking about a fully grown adult here.

Plus she grew up in Hayes!! There are more apnay there than sullay I believe (or at least it used to be that way - ain't been there in years), so it isn't like she grew up in some shytehole like Bradford, where majority influence turned her a certain way.

I'd bet it was a 'boyfriend' that turned her.

In anycase, all the things some clued up Sikhs have been talking about for many decades regarding things like grooming (and police and social services complicity) and the stealthy spread of fundamentalism from Islamist quarters are all coming out now.

Check it out folks! Our own street guys intel on these things was infinitely more accurate than these gorment goray James Bond wannabe fudhus, who get massive funding for doing their 'job'. Just shows you how useless they are.

Was reading about another grooming case in Leeds (in the same paper), and there the groomed girl's family was told "She must like it if she keeps going back". This appalling attitude by authorities is EXACTLY what Sikhs have been complaining about for decades.

That cant be ruled out as Muslims are known to prey on vulnerable people to try and convert. ie prisoners. Those people who have no direction in life. I have noticed a few white muslims in the local aera. mostly goria dressed head to toe in a hijab.

  17. Below is a story of a white woman who was recently radicalised by extremist Muslims and converted to Islam. It's an interesting eye opening article. As it shows a picture of how people are converted to Islam in the first place. Many people think that Muslims convert by force and other extremist methods. They do this however it's not the most common method.

What many people don't know is that many are converted by befriending. Ie being friendly and showing kindness. This is a method whereby the Muslim will act all and nice and helpful. So that the person in question thinks Muslims are good people. Then they slowly introduce them to Islam .

People should watch out for this common method of conversion contact. I have seen this many times in work places, schools and colleges. It's one of the most used to gain trust. Show kindness and freindlyness in the hope that the non Muslim will think Muslims are good honest people. It's all done without any kind of perceived force and the victim such as in the case of this woman is completely oblivious to what is happening.

That is why it's so dangerous for our impressionable youth to hang around with Muslims and befriend them.

Get her signed up with an agency. They connect newly arrived immigrant workers to factories on sprawling industrial estates in various industries but mostly those that deal with packing food, etc. The first few months are usually on a trial basis, but if she keeps her head down and applies herself, they do offer full-time contracts. It's good money for basic work.

Will look into that. I was actually thinking along those lines. It's not the best but will give her experience and hopefully she can move up and get through the employment door.

Will look into that. Sound like something that would be suitable.

Here's them trying to be "rational" about the aftelife.

Here's them completely neglecting the whole Gurmat Karam philosophy and past lives using the caste system, destiny and oppression as a scapegoat to promote their thinking:

Now they put this title up of whisky baba so people think that they are right and that these Babe are the people perverting  95% of the panth

My question what should we do? they have 200k subs compared to Basics with 143k. How do we go about stopping their koor prachar?

I'm not even sure if at this point they accept that Guru Nanak Dev ji is divine and sent from Vaheguru himself.

I have never watched any of their videos. Apart from a short clip. In that clip was the leader of this group.

He only said a few words and I did not really know much about them. But the guy sounded like a dodgy fella just from watching him for a couple of minutes.
