  1. I personally don't mind technology being put into Gurdwara's, but what I do have a problem with is tackiness and bad workmanship. There maybe AC in the Vatican, but you don't see it. That's the difference. I don't know what it is with Indians nowadays, but they have a habit of making things look tacky and cheap. (i.e. plastic covering the remote control, settees, chairs, tacky plastic tissue holders, plastic fruit, all-year round tinsel, tacky coloured lights etc, etc).
  2. Sikhi allows an individual to remarry after divorce. Sikhism does not condemn those people to live a life without companionship. Let’s take this scenario. Woman marries man. Man commits abuse/adultery. Woman divorces man. However the Woman has never had any children. But in Gupt Singhni world, the Woman is condemned never to have children as she cannot remarry.
  3. But you're still married to your spouse even if you get divorced. Ok, so your point is that there is not a religious act that recognises divorce as there is one for marriage. That's a good point. Well, I hope you don't get married to some wife beating paedophile. Wife?? I'm a female. ???

  5. Everyone needs a good night's sleep. Gurbani tells us not to over-eat or to over-sleep, it doesn't say we should under-sleep or under-eat, to do so is stupid and dumb and anyone who believes that is a retard. My tips for a good night sleep are. For me it's: Having the window open during the night helps. Cleaning my teeth and a shower really helps. Going down the gym a few hours before really helps. Not drinking caffeine also helps. Not eating hot food for dinner (as in food having lots of chillies or pepper) also helps. Eating a light meal and not a heavy one helps. Sleeping with no artificial light coming in helps. I set the temperature in my room to be 23C I make sure the room is dead quiet. Also I don't have an alarm to wake me up, I wake up naturally at the same time everyday, (unless I'm ill or something). This will make you laugh. My uncle use to slap his kids around the face if he ever caught them snoring. Now that’s what you call discipline!
  6. With that attitude I'm sure your kids won't be needing therapy when they’re older. What’s your point Bhai sahib Ji? Can't you respect people's views? Hey, each to their own.
  7. With that attitude I'm sure your kids won't be needing therapy when they’re older.
  8. Bloody hell! Looking at those pictures and the dodgy wiring I can image Prince Philip saying, "Looks like its been put in by an Indian". http://everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=64...p;lastnode_id=0
  9. According to his autobiography he performed alchemy. 'Singhstah' You believe alchemy is chemically possible yet you call me retarded !!! If you got the balls why don’t you put down on your CV that you believe alchemy is possible. Because if you did no one in their right mind would ever give you an interview let alone a job. If they did then they would either be taking the p*ss or the interviewers would be even more retarded than you.
  10. How do these these 'jamduts' take a soul there. Do they have wings? Do they use a map? or do they rely on GPS?
  11. How can a spritual concept like heaven or hell have a physical side to it!! A soul is a part of God, it doesn't have hair, it doesn't feel pain (as the nervous system the soul left behind is probably been cremated!!), it doesn't have a boundary or shape, even the concept of time does not exist for the soul. So using words like 'the soul travel to sach khand' is daft. The soul travelled on what? a bus !!
  12. Regarding Post 4, I believe that is AKJ material. Me personally I am very dubious of material that comes from that non-mainstream organisation whose founder is an alchemy believer.
  13. God resides in Sach Khand, he resides in me, in fact he resides everywhere. How can there be a hell when God is everywhere.
  14. Sach Khand ("True World") alternatively spelt Sac Khand is the Sikh concept of Salvation or Liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth in Samsara. It is achieved by the Guru's Grace and through meditation and Simran, remembering the Divine. The language is Punjabi. A hindu rendition would be "Sat Loka". Also apart of the cosmology of Surat Shabd Yoga (Sound Meditation) as the home of souls. It is also a room in a Gurdwara where the Guru Granth Sahib rests at night. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sach_Khand
  15. Sach Khand is a concept used by certain Babeh to make their followings believe in what they say. This is used in conjunction with the concept of Hell. For example Sach Khand is the reward that the ‘faithful’ believers will get and Hell is a threat used against those who have might have an inclining to disagree with the Baba.
  16. That statement says it all. Yeah you keep on following your huntches 'sikh12910'. I'll instead use my brain and contemplate what the Guru Granth says on the matter.
  17. It can’t be if Guru Nanak states that consuming sustenance is pure. Talk about yourself mate I’m not restless! But the Akal Takhat does not believe consuming meat is paap. But eating meat is not paap. The meat I consume is fresh organic produce. And I take in oily fish which is good for you. But NOT that farmed stuff. That’s a complete load of bullsh*t. Prime quality bullsh*t. The complex chemicals found in plants have more of an affect on you than a piece of muscle from an animal ever could. That why folks a lot of drugs originate from plants! I would reply onwards to 'WILDSINGH' but my exposure to the intense bullsh*t that emanates from his post is seriously affecting my karmic energy realignment factor.
  18. Only Humans are able to do to good karma so that takes all other beings out of that equation. That’s just reiterates my previous point. Ahh good you are beginning to understand. Oh dear I knew it wouldn’t last! But you just said animals don’t have that ability! Firstly if those hormones exist, (keyword [b[if[/b]) then the hormones would get denatured anyway when you cook the meat. So we wouldn’t consume them. On the Karma front, well quoting Guru Nanak, “Eating and drinking are pure, for the Lord has given sustenance to all.”
  19. Your happy to kill a plant, (say for instance a Sugar Cane) rip it up, crush it, extract it life giving energy, its sugar juice that it relied upon for its existence, process it just so you can sprinkle Sugar in your tea. Is that primarily for taste. Would you stop eating cakes and other sugary foods as that’s only for pleasure and taste? There’s a difference between what we can do, to what we’ve been designed/evolved to do. If God designed us to be omnivores, you are saying God was wrong in his design. Wanting food that God has designed Humans to eat may be a primal urge but Primal Urge does not equate to being Evil. Uncontrolled Primal Urge is wrong. I can’t, I’m medically allergic to nearly all vegetables and fruits. All food tastes. What should be do start eating bland food from now on? YES! Ripping the head of a lettuce and consuming that is convenient. Doing that to a chicken takes more effort and preparation. So meat is not a convenience food so that takes them out of that equation.
  20. You not making any sense???? So. That’s theological not scientific argument. Oh dear going off in a tangent. Again That’s theological not scientific argument. Read my previous point. No, just replies to false statements. That was a metaphor. Your question clearly shows that your incapabale of abstract thought. This explains a lot. No and neither did Guru Nanak. What makes me laugh about these Sikhs who believe in religious Vegetarians is this; These fools have a problem with those who eat meat, but they haven’t got a clue about spiritual wisdom. They think eating meat leads to sin, but they do not understand anything about meditation or spiritual wisdom. You can’t argue with these people because they don’t even know whats being said to them. Religious Vegetarians that shabad is about you!! Thank God I’m not trapped into thinking like that.
  21. Why would I when the granth (book) is my Guru? My Guru Granth has its very own granth (book) platform (Manji, small raised platform, literally bed).
