  1. These panj chor (mahabali's aka very powerful ego's or demons i like to call em ) combined with their mother (which is Maya) this jaal ( net ) that is thrown over us stops us from seeing akaal purakh.

We need to be consious at all time, have an awareness when they come onto our mind platform and when they disapear.

Babies are rab da roop (godly) as these bad vices do not trouble babies and they are pure and conscious.

There sixth sense is very sharp, for example if a bad person who does all the bad things in life, like steals, lies, lusts with woman (sexual relations), drinks, you name it, does all anti gurmakh things, aka manmukh. and if this person goes up to the baby and picks it up and tries to show it love and smile at it. The baby will almost certainly cry and want to get away, even though this evil person tries to show he is a good person from the outside by trying to be friendly and smile. Babies sense evil and good people. At a very young age, the bad vices cannot harm them. Slowly over time, babies will start to get mischevious and naughty. Especially at the age of coming to puberty almost all lose the pureness. That is why we need to do daily nitnem to stay pure.

We all need to return to our six sense like a pure innocent baby. Think of a time when you all were little and the very first time you tried to steal a sweet. and u listened to the evil ego. The heart beating very fast and you sweating alot.

But still you ignore these signs and steal a sweat. Like this we have slowly been converted away from being pure and in this way our six sense has weakened over the years as we grow older.

As well as doing our usual nitnem, which will help us to stay aware, and conscious. We should practise throughout the day to check about 2 or 3 times, or how many times possible to see which ego (panj chors) is on our mind.

For example i might be at work and get the idea to check if my mind is fully conscious and not being distrubed by any bad vice.

There are loads out there not only the 5, others include, nindia, chor, eartha (jealousy), hate, two faced etc.

    Concious picture :)

I will say my magic word conscious or become aware or what ever word you want. and then check your mind platform to see who is ruling it at that particular moment. At that particular time when you say aware (or what ever word you prefer) you should look hard who is on ur mind platform, somtimes it can be a Good vice like dharam, sat, santokh, nimartha. But its rear especially in kaligug to have then at all times :D

Once you start to become aware of who is coming and going on your mind platform, they will also pick and and will have to leave immediatly once then know that you know about them and this game that god has created :) ))))

In this way over time, you can unlock hidden powers, like ridhia sidhia if you stay pure like under a one year old baby :D

Your third eye can open slowly over time and begin to see the purlokh (hidden spirit world, and start seeing spirits, good or bad), you will see kaal, jams, devi, devia, shaheed singhs etc.

So fellow gurmukhs, i cannnot stress how important nitnem is and should not be broken. So when we pray, we are actually alive and once we stop we die (akha jeeva, visray mar jow)

  2. Sat Sr Akal,

I may be too stupid and this can be the dumbest topic ever created.

But if you just think about 5 Chors (Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, Ahnkaar ) , i used chor as they try to steal your Kamaii by forcing you on wrong path.

They are beautifully created by God, See how each one is so simple yet so complex. You try to remove Kaam, then many got ahnkaar in doing so. Each one is dependent on other yet so independent.

May be i am not able to express in words, but in simple words i just want to say that each chor created by God to test Human is masterpiece in itself.

    God is Great :)

I am too dumb to put in words. hopefully someone will understand my meaning and intentions.

    Regards

Well done, i totally agree and understand what you are saying. :D

  3. You might suppress your 'want to have fun' thoughts now, but they will make an appearance later in your life. You need to do something abut this first, don't suppress your desires but overcome them. At present it seems the only thing holding you from breaking amrit is your 'guilt feeling' and fear of re-birth. Stop being a hypocrate, your amrit is of no use, as long as you have doubts.

Look <banned word filter activated>, the day u take amrit... IT is from that day onwards that you are fighting daily with panjh mahabali's (bad vices.)

Think of ur self as a singh ona horse with a khanda in ur hand and u are fighting 5 very big demons.....

the khanda represents ur path.... the day this dude stopped or started doing less nitnem, is like losing ur khanda... and the demons kick u off the horse and u begin to get shitar from teh demons... he is losing a battle...

So pick up that khanda again

I am very spiritual, when i pray i get such peace of mind, such a state of peacefulness, that all desires are finished. So much so that i do not want to talk to anyone... i feel such anand at times, and have no fear of anything...

then once i get to work and do my daily stuff, i lose my peacefulness, when communicating with manmukhs.

To get to this stage it took me ten years of my life, of daily nitnem. so dont give up hope... i was once in doubt like u. just keep fighting and one day maybe u will experiece what i am, which is complete shanti,

Make ur destination sach khand :) ))))

  4. singh, first start doing your nitnem

i've noticed myself that days when i do my nitnem, like rly concentrate n do it, my day is exponentially better

Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji gave a wonderful udharan on how lucky u r to have given ur head to maharaj:

As many branches as there are on a bunyan tree, it takes that many good karam to acheive human birth.

As many fruit are on that tree, its takes that many good karam to have birth in a Sikh family

But as many seeds are IN all the fruits (any1 who has seen the fruit will know there are probably hundreds of seeds in each fruit), it takes that many good karam to be blessed with amrit"

And believe me singha, u R blessed. Find yourself some sangat, youth, other amritdhari kids like you.

Those are the two main things:

Do your nitnem, all 5 banis everyday. Spread them throughout the day if you can't concentrate and do it all in one sitting. Do rehraas sahib and sohila sahib as well.

Find yourself some good, positive sangat, and get close to them, cuz believe, if any1, they will surely back you up when ur down.

Could not stress it better my self :)

Also.. The mind is the most powerful thing we have.... as it says manjit tha jagjit...

So when u get doubts or bad thoughts, that are agaist sikhi....

Talk to ur self, or say aloud,

For example.... if ur mind brings up idea, give up amrit and stop path....

Reply back with veeras , concentrate and say with positive energy, i will not give up my amrit... and i will not listen to this filthy mind of mine... Talk back to these bad thoughts...

and then back it up by doing path. Path is the power to defeat the bad vices :) ))))

  5. sangat ji i have been very troubled for the past 1-2 months....i took amrit more then a year ago and thought it was GREAT i had been living a sikh lifestyle for about a year and a half before i took amrit. but recently i am having doubts i know that if i break my amrit it is going to be the biggest mistake of my life and also that i wont be able to go through life normally again, but lately i just miss doing all the things i did before i took amrit, also my rehat is veryyyyyy weak know as i barley ever do my nitnem. i have not committed bujjar kuriet though.. i don't know why i feel like this, because some nights i just wanna break down and cry cause i don't no what to do. when i took amrit it felt like the best feeling in the world but know i don't no what happened...i know its probably a test but i think im failing...it took alot to finally get me to talk to someone about it but finally did because im scared...thanks for your time.

i feel how u feel bro...

Look the one thing that you shouldnt have done is stopped your NITNEM

when you take Amrit you are fighting against the Panj mahabalis (5 bad warrior vices, that are really powerful).

They can only be defeated by doing nitnem and keeping you mind pure of dirty thoughts at all times !!!!

One the path goes downhill, this give the panj maha balis the only chance to make u lose way...

DO YOUR DAILY NITNEM AND ALL WILL BE FINE :@:) ))))

  6. i was on my way back from school today doing rehraas sahib paath

this elderly lady sed fateh to me, but as i was doing paath, i couldnt reply, so i politely bowed my head, and hoped she didnt think i was blanking her

then a bit later on, this girl asked if i had the time, i shook my head, indicating that i hadnt, but actually i had got the time, i just didnt want to have to tell it her, because i didnt want to interrupt my paath

now i felt bad at blanking the lady and lying to the girl

anything i could have done differently?

i did once stop my nitnem paath, which i was doing in a park, because a policeman wanted to talk to me, and i resumed where i stopped, but i shudnt really make exceptions for policemen either shud i?

Hmm a bit of a dilemma.

Well if the eldery lady said fateh to you, u should have smiled and said ur paat a little louder so she could here it, which would tell her ur doing rehraas sahib, hence why u can reply

For the 2nd one abt the time, u can say waheguru 5 times followed by WJKK WJKF (its te appropriote way of pausing the paat for reasons like that) u should be able to say it quick in ur mind (3-5 secs)

Once the purpose is done, say the same thing above and resume paat. :@ Been told this by a very spiritual person (sant - not sure if many belive in them here )

why cant u do ur pray.gif at home ?

another thing, are u doing ur paat from memory, mp3 player, or gutka ? :@

  7. Might be a wierd question but it is something that I thought about after it had happened.

Sometimes (when I say sometimes, I mean like maybe once every 5-6 months), when I'm asleep I kinda wake up. I'm still asleep, my body is still asleep, I know I'm still asleep. I know of nothing around me. I don't whether it's day or night outside or anything but I'm awake. Wierd to explain - bit like a lucid dream when you know you're dreaming and you can start to control it, except on these occasions, I'm not dreaming.

Any way, I'm asleep and awaken gradually whilst still in my sleep. As I wake up whilst still asleep, I find my mind reciting Japji sahib. It's wierd, it's like a tape of the paath is being played and I'm listening to it but not actively reciting it.

Is it right to recite paath like this - without having a bath first or dressed or even without engaging my mind? Does it still count? Or is it as worthless as someone reciting Japji Sahib with their tongue whilst they watch TV/have their mind elsewhere? Should I wake up when I realise this is happening, wash and recite Japji sahib properly?

    Firstly contrgats.

Did u know Gursikhs around 10th gurus times, most of them could do wot u are experiencing. That is the physical body is asleep while u are awoken conciously. This is the best time to do naam simran, U get more phal (reward) doing it this way and more spiritual bliss.

I am not gonna boast but, guru ki kirpa, somtimes i do jap ji sahib while im physically sleeping and conciously awake. It is hard and uses alot of demakh ka joor. But it is perfectly fine. if u can do this, do so. just have a shower when u will normally awake.

All Gursikhs in this forum if u want to have somthing similar to this singh. Its not hard, its all about practise and dedication. When you are about to go to sleep, just keep repeating to ur self. Prefebally in punjabi

Mera sareev sutha paya-ahh, par asi jaag-day ahh

My body (physical) is sleeping, and i am awake.

Just keep saying the above until u fall asleep, with practise, u will really awake like the singh has described.

If u keep on practising and keep awaking while u sleep u can astral Travel :@

I havent got to this stage as of yet, due to stress at work. hopefully will practise in my holidays off.

I recommend a book called Astral Travel and Dreams by belzebuub

  8. Dam right you should be scared bro..

I have been hearing from a Sant, very spirtitually blessed.

That up there when gursikhs go to Sach Kand, alot are having trouble going through because they had tied their beard up, even though they were amrithari

I am 27 now and when i was about 16 i used to be in same boat scarred of death the jamdoots jamdoot.gif and Charasi lakh joon.

even though i am not amrthari i have taken out time to learn the 5 banis (not full anand sahib just the 6 pouris)

The banis plus i am learning kirtan. To tell you the truth i dont fear death no more. I just have this inner peace in me

Even though i dont have full dhari its trimmed, i try to keep as much Gurmukh sangat. Hopefully one day i will keep full mariada.

So take out the steps ive taken, visit this website http://www.rajacademy.com/ and learn some true instruments that some of our Gurus had created to be sung is the right raags, Woow just playing a few shabads a day in the correct raag i get such a high and no fear of death comes near me any more. thankgod :WW:

So basically where there is Simran and theres kirtan, Jamdoots will not come near you. hope thats not too long, just me 2 cents

  9. I have been told by some highley respected mahapursh, that Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindrawale, is Sant Ranjit Singh ji and that they too will pick up the Theer and fight.

Having put some thought into this, i know Ranjit Singh Ji was born in 1984, so it could possibally be them grin.gif

What do u all think?? plz no flaming

  10. Panj mahabali yodhay, in this day n age, there is no way u can win the battle.

Sikhs back in the times of Guru Gobind Singh ji's time used to pray day and night, even when they were doing seva, sleeping, or their daily chores. Nobody can pray like the singh at the time of guru ji. Baba Deep Singh ji used to do something like 100 jaap sahibs (im not 100% accurate on this, could be 100 or 200 somthig like this much) a day.

Now if we can have this sort of prem (love) and sharda (respect) and pray day and night. Rememba singhs at guru sahibs times used to pray all night, their sareevs (bodys) where a sleep but their mind was awake praying silently.

Only then can we have power of beating the panj mahabali's!!!

To the poster of this thread, if u want to survive, u have to stop calling Kaam. If u call him he will come to ur mind platform and rule. If u dont call him then he kaam cant rule you.

Few examples of calling kaam, if u walkin down a street and u see a pretty girl, nice curves, wiggle wiggle lol, then u have to control ur mind, stop looking and control, in this way u can win. Man jeet tha jagjeet

koor kriya urjheyo sab he jag - dude i dont know wot u done, but if u need to talk feel free to contact me. Kaam is a very hard battle i agree, ive done experiments as well, i will always lose to kaam, if u call it.

Kalijog tha raaj ahh, Maya is the mother of the 5 dusts, kaljug is the king of this age.

Remember if u get defeated with any of the 5 evils, get up and fight back, thats wot we are, saint soldiers, never give up. just my 2 cents :D

  11. U need power (shakti), which u are lacking.

It seems uve teamed up with the evil vices. kam , krodh, lobh, moh and ankar. This is when u will get these evil thoughts in ur mind.

Best way to clean it is, listen to sukhmani sahib. i have provided a link below. (hope u got broadband.).

    http://www.sikhnation.com/kirtan/gurbani.html

Sukhmani sahib consists of 24 ashpathi's (chapters). try to listen to 2 - 4 ashpathi's a day. shouldnt take long to listen. By doing so, u will get peace in ur mind and get the confidence and this isolation will fade away.

I agree with wot s133k_s1kh has said :D

Ive personally gone through wot u have, but following sikhi is a fight.

sometimes the 5 vices win the round. then u gotta lift ur self up, do path simran and fight bak. hit.gifslap.gif

    Where soldiers rememba v1.gif

  12. Hi i used to shave, but now keep a dhaari (not full, just more than the stubble look). I would like to keep a full dhaari later on well hopefully. I wear a soft pagh as well.

How many of u singhs out there feel there is no respect from Goray, Hindus, and even our peaple. Wot i mean abt this is I work in sales and i get customers touching their chins or cheeks and trying to give a sign of like shave that thing off, which i find really out of order and upsetting. Especially when its from our lokh (apney) who think they goray, bloody <admin-profanity filter activated>.

I remember onces this Hindu wos doing the beard remark to me by touching and scratching his chin, so in defence i gave him the middle finger, by putting my middle finger near my nose like im pretending to scratch it and he got the message. But still this cannot be done especially where i work (as customers are always right  ) . Wots with these murakhs (arsholes, why dont they have respect, i feel like swinging at them sometimes).

Wot do i do to defened my self when these kinds of peaple take the micky out of my beard, when the start touching their chins / cheek ?? somthing like this ---> grin.gif I need some help, i never thought it would be hard keeping a beard even though mine aint even that long, now im thinking wot would it be like if i grow it all, and tie it, goray must take the mick 1 time!!

Why dont these clean shaven peeps not have respect / tolerence??? Sorry if i offended any1, im just finding it very difficult trying to be a singh of the guru. pul chuk maaf
