This question is a little related to that 'Santh' question I asked.... anyway:

I was sitting once randomly and had this Shabadh in my mind:

I wanted to know as a whole WHO is a Sikh? When I ask this I mean like in Gurbanee there are several references of Vaaheguroo saving his Sikh from Maya and getting his Sikh to cross this ocean etc etc (no disrespect). What I want to know is WHO is a Sikh?

~ Is it only someone who's taken Amrith?

~ Does Vaaheguroo protect those that RECOGNISE Him as Akhaal Purkh?

~ Is it anyone that remebers Vaaheguroo even for a second?

~ Is it anyone that reads Gurbanee?

~ Can it be anyone that reads Gurbanee EVEN IF their Chith isn't into it?

I don't MEAN to say etc etc (the dots) but I don't want to write the WHOLE of the Asth'Padhee out so scuse me!

What my question is: You know the referal of 'Santh' in this Banee WHO is called a Santh? Like is it Saadh Sangath? Anyone that recognises Siree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee as Guroo? Its like the whole concept with being a Sikh - who can call themselves Sikh/Santh? Anyone thats taken Amrith?? I may be going into depth but if EVERYONE gets knocked by the Panj Chohr and the rest ever now and again how do we stand and say we're Sikhs? Am PROPER confused - situation with me is no point reading Gurbanee if I dont understand it so help a Bhenj please?

ANYWAY

The whole story cut short is; this week at the wkdest Gurdhvaara in coventry (GNP - Guroo Nanak Parkaash) Gyanee Bikramjit Singh Jee Dham Dham'ee Tak'saal Vah'leh was doing Kathaa ALL WEEK and trust me yeah HE WAS TOOOOO SIKK!!! And my phone can only record so much and i've looked EVERYWHERE on the net but i cnt find any of his recordings...so am askin ya lot has anyone got any downloadable links?

Also, on Amrith Banee Radio Bhaee Nirmal Singh Jee sang this Shabadh called 'Khoob Khoob Theroh Naam, Choot Choot Dunee'yah Abmaan' (I think so, scuse me if I said the Thukh rong)

is raag reli that important?? i had a talk with my taya the other day n he said that their isnt one person in the world at the moment that sings in raag, so that is y he duznt do it!!! buttttt......then wat the hell was the point of our Gurus putting such relevance into raag (actually putting the raag before many saloks in Maharaj - the purest truth in the world) and us not following it!!!

he was singing Asa Ki Vaar the other day.....n i questioned him saying y duznt he sing in raag Asa, and he sed that coz it was wat the Gurus sang in back in the day, and we dont have to!! i was like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!! so then y is it writtin in Maharaj!!! ooo and that if we shud sing Asa Ki Vaar in the morning.....then like how else is that going to be determined by anything else but the raag??

it just wouldnt make sense to sing in any other raag than the raag set by Maharaj!!
