  4. Sugar, flour aren't raw materials madame. The best would be to grow everything ourselves as the veggies, grains and salt are handled by the people who aren't amritdhari and most prolly are smokers. If someone can do more, that is far better. The whole idea is to do what you can since it is not possible for everybody to go that far.

Eating from non-bibeki amritdharis is acceptable and the minimum bibek required. There are two levels of bibek, the first one is eating from other Amrit Dharis who wear 5 kakaars, abstain from 4 bujjer kurahits. The second, higher level of bibek is to only eat from other Bibekis. In Bibek you use only raw materials like sugar, flour, grains, vegetables and salt etc. If someone can do more, that is far better. The whole idea is to do what you can. Anything processed in any form shouldn't be consumed. Therefore, there is no way one can accidentally eat from a bad guy.

This article can be seen below the first article in this post: http://naam-jor.blogspot.com/2007/01/sarbloh-bibek.html Please take out time to read the new article and feel free to comment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bibek Sri Gobind Singh Sahib Ji says: jwkI rhiq n jwxIAY gurmMqR nhI cIq[ aunkw Bojn KwiekY ibsrih hir isau pRIq[ One who has no rehit And does not meditate on the Gurmantar; If you eat his food, You will loose the love for God. (Rehitnama) Guru says you should avoid eating from the one who does not meditate on God and does not follow the code of conduct prescribed by the tenth master. Draupadi asked the highest saint of Doapur Jug, Sant Bhisham Pitama, why he had not come to her rescue when she was stripped of her clothing in Duryodana’s court. She queried him, saying that if he was a saint, why did he not raise his voice when evil was going on before his very eyes in Duryodana’s court. He started to cry and said, “Daughter, I shall tell you the truth; my mind became clouded by darkness as I had eaten in Duryodana’s house.” Therefore, this shows how the love of God breaks away from a being as their mind becomes clouded by filth and prevents them from performing good deeds. ਚੋਰਾ ਜਾਰਾ ਰੰਡੀਆ ਕੁਟਣੀਆ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ॥ Cẖorā jārā randī¬ā kutṇī¬ā ḏībāṇ. Thieves, adulterers, prostitutes and pimps, ਵੇਦੀਨਾ ਕੀ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਵੇਦੀਨਾ ਕਾ ਖਾਣੁ ॥ Vėḏīnā kī ḏosṯī vėḏīnā kā kẖāṇ. make friendships with the unrighteous, and eat with the unrighteous. ਸਿਫਤੀ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਵਸੈ ਸੈਤਾਨੁ ॥ Sifṯī sār na jāṇnī saḏā vasai saiṯān. They do not know the value of the Lord's Praises, and Satan is always with them. Before Sri Guru Amar Das Sahib Ji became the third Nanak, he met a Sadhu who once ate in his house. On leaving, when the sadhu realised that Bhai Amar Das was without a Guru, the Sadhu became angry and told Bhai Amar Das Ji that, by eating with him, he the sadhu had lost all his spiritual wealth which he had earned after many years of meditation. Bhai Amar Das Ji cried the whole night. This shows that if one eats from someone who is without a Guru (has not taken amrit) and does not recite the Gurmantar, one looses their profit of Naam. So how can they ever cross over? By eating by someone who is unrighteous, they too become unrighteous. In the book Gurmat Bibek by bhai Sahib Randhir Singh, it says that to not keep Sarbloh Bibek after being blessed with Anmrit is like taking your Kacchera off after having taken Anmrit. During Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s time, there was someone named Bhai Lalo who earned his living by honest work. Bhai Lalo once got lunch for Guru Nanak and his companion, Mardana to have. Mardana asked, “This meal tastes like nectar. What has been put in it?” Guru Nanak Dev Ji replied, “That was the taste of truthfulness and honesty that you tasted. This taste is above the taste of worldly delicacies.” There was a high government official of the city called Malik Bhago who gave a general feast and also welcomed Guru Nanak Dev Ji. However, Guru Ji refused the invitation and said, "We are fakirs, what have we to do with your feast?" He was then asked again; therefore, Guru Nanak Dev Ji took Bhai Lalo with him and went to Malik Bhago. Malik Bhago said furiously to Guru ji, “You are dishonoring Kshatriyas by eating dry chapaties in the house of a low caste carpenter. My feast will offer you delicious food. Why do you refuse to eat it?” Guru Nanak Dev Ji then took Bhai Lalo’s chapati and Malik Bhago’s fried sweet pancake. When he squeezed Bhai Lalo’s chapati milk dripped out from it but when he squeezed Malik Bhago’s fried pancake, blood dripped out from it. Guru then said, “Look Malik Bhago, wealth gathered by cruelty and corruption towards the poor is like sucking their blood which you have done. You had invited me to partake of blood, leaving food pure as milk. How could I accept it?” This showed that Bhai Lalo was the symbol of honesty and hard work. Therefore, the story shows how food from the faithless cynic is nothing but poison, just how Gurbani mentions that Maya is just like sugarcane which is sweet from the outside but inside Maya is just poison which only leaves pain in the end. sMqn kw dwnw rUKw so srb inDwn ] sa(n)than kaa dhaanaa rookhaa so sarab nidhhaan The dry bread of the Saints is equal to all treasures. igRih swkq CqIh pRkwr qy ibKU smwn ]2] grihi saakath shhatheeh prakaar thae bikhoo samaan 2 The thirty-six tasty dishes of the faithless cynic, are just like poison. 2 In Bhagat Ravidas Ji’s previous life he was a Brahmchari (a holy beggar who controls his senses and who studies Vedas) and was a disciple of Ramanand Ji. He would beg food and prepare food. One day, when he got out of the Mandar (temple) to ask for offering, it was raining. Due to the heavy rain, he fell down in front of a shopkeeper’s house. The shopkeeper was standing there. He helped the Brahmchari up and from his house he gave all the food required for the holy people in the Mandar (temple). Brahmchari returned to the mandar and prepared the food. That day Ramanand Ji could not concentrate and meditate on Naam. He asked Brahmchari, “From which house did you beg the food?” The Brahmchari replied, “Due to the rain I brought it only from the house of the shopkeeper”. Ramanand Ji was furious and said, “You lowly person, you have low mentality; you have fed me the food of those who earn their livelihood dishonestly. You have sinned and will be reborn in a low caste. For this reason the Brahmchari was reborn as Ravidas Ji in a low caste family. When we eat from a faithless cynic, this affects our naam. It influences the 5 fires/demons and thinking. Just as when people say, ‘we are what we eat’ due to physical health, this also includes for our spirituality. There are various rehitnamas that showed the importance of Bibek for a Sikh. Bhai Daya Singh rehitnama contains the following bachans: "Bhojanaad Moundit naal chhakey, Tankhaiyaa", which means, one who eats food with a non-Sikh, is guilty of a breach of conduct. There is also another rehitnama by Chaupa Singh which says "Guru kaa Sikh...apaNy langar rasoee vich Sikh rakhey. Hukaie, Topeeaa, BhaadNee, chor, yaar, jooaybaaz, kurehiteeyaa na rakhai" which means, a Guru ka Sikh...should keep only a Sikh in his langar and kitchen. Smokers, hat-wearers, shaven people, theieves, gamblers, kurehitees should not be kept". Sai Mia Mir was very close to Guru Arjan Dev jee. However, Guru Sahib didn't even consume food from Sai MIan Mir even though they were very close since Sai Mian Mir was a muslim (non-sikh). Sai Mian Mir jee prepared different utensils to be used for Guru Arjan Dev Sahib ji for cooking and eating food from. Whenever Guru Sahib and his sikhs stayed over with Sai Mian Mir ji, these utenstils were used to cook and eat langgar from. Also, even different utensils were used to cook food for Guru Arjan Dev ji and Guru Sahib’s sewadars. This proves that Sikhs and Guru Sahib himself did not take food cooked from those who were not Sikhs. Therefore, Bibeki is a person who adheres strictly to and regulates his life in accordance with the Guru's commandments. One who truly loves Guru Ji will follow his commandments since it is dearer to Guru Ji than the sikh itself. That Sikh has truly offered his head to Guru Ji, who only lives to please Guru Ji. Daas, Singhni MiriPiri -------------------------------------------------------------------- However, this rehit will be of no use if one does not keep a Pukka Amritvela, at least Naam Abhiyaas of 2.5 hours a day, keeps humility since they need to be inwardly pure, otherwise keeping Bibek will just promote ego. There are 2 forms of BIBEK. The first is called “BIBEK BUDH” which means “discerning intellect”. This form of Bibek comes when we follow Guru Sahib’s teachings. This is when we realize the truth about life, importance of naam, learn to differentiate what is GOOD and BAD and so forth. guramukh giaan bibaek budhh hoe || The Gurmukh is blessed with spiritual wisdom and a discerning intellect(ang 317) haar pari-o su-aamee kai du-aarai deejai buDh bibaykaa. rahaa-o. 9. Maya isn’t known in others religions in depth whereas the Satan isn’t mentioned in Sikhi in depth. Every religion is confined by the heavens and three qualities. Islam believes in Allah, who is in actual fact Vishnu who resides only in the heavens. Therefore the Satan would be mentioned a lot in other religions more than Sikhi because he is confined to the heavens. Satan was actually a fallen angel. Allah/Vishnu told him that he has to get punished for his misdeeds. The Satan/fallen angel asked Allah if he could at least wait until judgement day. Allah accepted this. But the Satan said that before that day he will make sure all beings will go to hell and that he will try and take over the kingdom of heavens. The Gursikhs are above the heavens, since the heavens are restricted to the three qualities and Maya. Maya is the shadow of Vaheguru, not Allah/Vishnu. She has enticed the heavens, Vishnu, and even the Satan. Maya is the agent of God, she serves him. However, unlike the Satan who is under her power, she is not against the Saints but in fact she is enticed by them. The Satan instead hates the saints, he is still confined to the three qualities, thus under the power of Maya. This is why in Sikhi he is not mentioned in depth because Sikhi is on a wider scale. In Sikhi one can become one with Vaheguru, so they become above the entire play/drama of God's.
  10. Dear Brother/sister, I don’t have to justify myself how I know Satan exists. You must believe in Jamdooths and do you know that jamdooths are red, they have extremely large horns, and their body structure is very, very built. They appear fearless, stern and disciplined. There are other different types of devilish demons. The list can go on since God’s creation is limitless but there is no reason to. Sant Naraian Singh has also mentioned the Satan that exists. This Satan is just part of his creation; it is all in God’s play. Some Human beings are too against God, but does that give them the authority has high as God. God can destroy is creation in a blink of an eye, including Satan. Bhai Fauja Singh said, “It has always happened and it will happen always. Right will stand by you and devil against you…” There are always two forces working against us. This occurs when the mind is still divided. Listening to the mind is when we are taking the actions of the devil. The more we fight against the mind, the weaker the devil would become. If there is something wrong we do, the inner voice of Guru Ji will guide us to the right path depending on which force is more dominant. We only receive the direction of God at all times only once the devil vanishes, leaving us pure and victorious. Take care and all the best VJKKVJKF
  11. We can talk to our actual brothers and sisters. It shouldn’t increase our lust since we are not going to wed them. But that does not mean we should talk nonsense with them. We should talk little with EVERYONE. The Satan does exist. There also countless other beings that also exist such as angels, fairies, dragons, demons (different types), goblins, ghosts, spirits, and other different beings. Did you know that the story of Bhagat Prahlaad Ji occurred in the underworlds? Just because Muslims believe in the Satan does that make us a Muslim? Muslims believe in God, so does that make us a Muslim too. No religion is false. The reason why I used Satan is because that’s what Satan would want, people to follow evil ways. Satan is what suggests people to do wrong through their mind. sifathee saar n jaananee sadhaa vasai saithaan || They do not know the value of the Lord's Praises, and Satan is always with them. And raah shaithaanee dhuneeaa goee ||aa|| The whole of the world is following the ways of Satan.

  15. Announcement After long and hard thought, I have decided to carry on with my blog because a dear friend said to me, ‘In this age, where missionaries and bad people corrupt and teach and cleverly debate using every advanced technology, you would be silent?’. I kept a promise that I shall carry on with this seva to help each other cross the worldly ocean, and so I shall stay true to my word. However, this blog will not be up-dated weekly since I still have a worldly commitment and spiritual commitment. The article I have written is called ‘the destruction of sin’ which is about sin and the outcome. Please read the whole shabad because that is the main part of the article.
