  1. Sorry for late reply Kandola Ji, I'm not sure if it is the same person, I'll try and find a pic of him online or something...is he quite thin? The person I'm talking about is a Gursikh and only started working in leicester a while ago...
  2. I've seen those pics and they're wicked...theres another wedding on that site but not sure whether you'd want to see those ones... Yeah, I was thinking it would be great if a Singh wore like Navy chola/kurta and Navy/Orange dastaar, with orange kamalkusar (sorry for spelling)...and Singhni wearing Orange suit with Navy keski! .....Lol...I agree with MKhalsa, I ALSO need to find a Singhi who wants to marry this loser and Gursikh-wannabe!
  3. Kandola Ji, Although I'm not from leicester, I think I might know who you're talking about...does he teach in a secondary school? I think I may know who you're on about...but will find out and let you know, yes this Singh where's this kinda dastaar and its always black: :e:
  4. Khalsa4ever said "For myself, I don't plan on wearing something that'll hurt the eyes" Yeah, its best to stick to the Sikh colours or something along those lines (i.e. Navy, Orange etc) I've seen those type of weddings, you can only really class them as 'punjabi' weddings, they're NOT Gursikh weddings...
  5. Dear Sangat, I havent posted on this site for some time now, although I do visit it on a regular basis I wanted to ask, how many Gursikh weddings have you been to? Also, what colours have you seen the Singh and Singhni wear? What colour (to the Gursikhs...) do you prefer and WANT to wear on your wedding? I've been to like 2 Gursikh weddings: 1) First wedding- Singh was wearing cream kurta pajamaa, cream dastaar with orange  on the top part of his dastaar...Singhni wearing very light pink suit (mainly because there were hardly any Gursikhs on the Singh's side...although from a very strong sikhi background), and a white keski. 2) Second wedding- Singh wearing cream kurta pajamaa, orange dastaar  , Singhni wearing cream suit and orange keski.... I think Gursikh weddings are AMAZING!
