    das heard that back in the days there used to be a lot of variations from one Dasam Granth Saroop to another (ex: Jaap Sahib in some Saroops had 199 Pauris while other had 200 or 198) so Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji (Bhindranwale) took 100 Saroops and did Sudhiee and made one Saroop.

    My question is does anyone know where that Saroop is? Is there anyway to view it online or if a Singh has taken pictures of it and upload it as a PDF file?

    Need correct translation of Shabad.

    Prof. Sahib Singh tika is the best till date . www.gurugranthdarpan.com. Many intellectuals of the panth have opinion the whole of fareedkot tika is not according to gurmat.

    Iunno man I just put those translations because it sounds like Singh559 wanted to know the Bhaav Arths. Didn't do it to prove one teeka is better than the other.

    People really have to learn to be more positive and just live together and work with everybody's opinions and backgrounds. Sometime I learn all these people arguing on these forum and I wonder what they do for a living and/or how many friends they have and how many people want to be around them and what their family atmosphere is.

    No offense to anyone but people really have to stop saying their way is right and that's final. Take everyone's positions I have friends who are really strict in their religions whether its Islam, Sikhi, Hinduism, etc. and friends who are atheist, you can always look at something/someone and take the positive out of that or the negative. As you can see I've taken the negative.

    सलोक कबीर ॥
    Salok Kabīr.
    Shalok, Kabeer:
    गगन दमामा बाजिओ परिओ नीसानै घाउ ॥
    Gagan ḏamāmā bāji▫o pari▫o nīsānai gẖā▫o.
    In Braham Akash (sky) is the Guru in the form of a drum. When the Guru gives his teachings about God, it hits and injures the warriors (Jagiasoo- people walking on the path of Dharam).
    खेतु जु मांडिओ सूरमा अब जूझन को दाउ ॥१॥
    Kẖeṯ jo māʼndi▫o sūrmā ab jūjẖan ko ḏā▫o. ||1||
    The warriors, which are the Sikhs, fight the evil in the battlefield, and they say this is the time/opportunity to fight i.e. (in other words) in the human body the bikars (lust, anger, jealous, desire, etc.) can be defeated.
    सूरा सो पहिचानीऐ जु लरै दीन के हेत ॥
    Sūrā so pahicẖānī▫ai jo larai ḏīn ke heṯ.
    Those are recognized as warriors those that fight for dharam i.e. those that claim victory over the bikars for meditation.
    पुरजा पुरजा कटि मरै कबहू न छाडै खेतु ॥२॥२॥
    Purjā purjā kat marai kabhū na cẖẖādai kẖeṯ. ||2||2||
    They cut the bikars into pieces. Then even if the warrior dies he should never leave the battlefield i.e. he should not leave opportunities/option to win the battlefield.

    During Sant Jarnail Singh Ji's time there was a Singh who was 24 and his beard didn't come in, long story short, Sant Ji told the Singh to do Ishnaan underneath Dukh Bhanjani Bayree and in a short while his beard came in.

    heard in katha that a few chardikala abhiyaasi singhs asked maharaj guru gobind singh ji how many sikhs he had in the world, and maharaj said on vaisakhi there were only 5 that gave their head, today there are only 1000 willing to give their heads.

    I think katha has been going on since forever, cause I remember a Sakhi where Vashist Monee Ji went to Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji (Rampur Khera Wale) and Baba Ji asked Vashist Monee Ji to give them some teachings so that they could pass it on to the Sangat, and Vashist Monee Ji replied Don't no about your guys' Sangat but when we used to do Katha we used to get the Sangat to say Ram.

    sant ji is shaheed, get a grip u fools. Do u think sant ji wud have let sikhi get to the state it is in now? U guys mention kathas, theres kathas where sant ji says the army wud never take him alive either.

    um. . .do you know what you just said here let me translate: "long live shaheed (so basically not in there body) Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa" how can someone that is shaheed live long????

    Sant Ji is not shaheed because

    1) Before operation bluestar a bebe came upto Sant Ji and said that how will we know if you are shaheed or not after operation bluestar? Sant Ji then gave a bottle of jul (water) and said that if this water turns red like blood then i am shaheed and if it doesn't and stays the way it is (for those who don't no water is clear/see through) and the water did not turn red

    2) during the attack some of the soldiers could have help Sant Ji escape, because there were a lot of places for Sant Ji to escape. Lets face it its the indian army what an american army could accompilish in two hours took the indian army three days.

    3) what shastar is strong enough to kill a Sant. Baba Deep Singh Ji's head was cut off, was that it did the game end there. . .no Baba Ji got back up and started fighting. So I ask what bullet is strong enough, which bullet had the guts to kill Sant Jarnail Singh Ji.

    4) After the attack when asked the army if they captured Sant Ji, 1/3 of the army said his body was found "downstairs" in the langar hall (for those who haven't been to Harimandhar Sahib there is no downstair the only downstairs there is, is the Sarovar), 1/3 of the army said we found his body between the two Nishan Sahib's, and the final 1/3 said we have him in custody. Who are we gonna believe, truly if Sant Ji was Shaheed the government would have definetly showed Sant Ji's Body the only thing we have is a picture of someone's body. most people would probably look like the person in that picture, If I took a picture of my dad without his distaar and and his hair were open and he was lying down he would look like that person in the picture. Also there was a Singh that looked like Guru Gobind Singh Ji during Guru's Ji's time his name was Bhai Sangat Singh Ji and during the battle of Chamkur Sahib Guru Ji put their Kalgi on Bhai Sangat Singh Ji to fool the army to make them think Bhai Sangat Singh Ji was Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

    5) A few years back there was a picture installed in the gallery in Amritsar (I think) and when that happened the government freaked out and started to say Sant Ji is back and sent the army into Amritsar. Whoa whoa whoa I thought the government was able to make Sant Ji Shaheed so why did the governement start freaking out they had no reason to freak out because in they said they had successfully killed Sant Ji

    6) Baba Thakur Singh Ji and other Sant's predictions right now most Sants (I said most because the fakes are probably gonna say we can stop it by giving us 1000000000000000000000000 x 10^999999999 rupees) that there is going to be a Jang (war) in India soon and after the war there are going to be no more monay (people with haircuts) only Singhs Baba Thakur Singh Ji also said this and Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji Khalsa also said this 30+ before Sant Jarnail Singh Ji came into this world

    You guys know how When Sants come to U.S. and other countries, they can wear their Kirpans like Sant Ranjit Singh Ji and his jatheh were able to come with their kirpans, teers (long spears) from india, is there a way where Amritdharis can take flights without having their Kirpans removed, With recent events security has become MORE tighter

    i heard they had a deal with the airline not sure. but when Baba Thakur Singh Ji was going on the airplane the Singhs with them told Baba Ji to put their small Kirpan in the techi and Baba Ji laughed and said what'll happen if I don't and they walked through the scanner thing and it didn't go off. Also heard the same thing about the Sant at Hazoor Sahib that does Gagar De Seva. I don't know if we are allowed but if a Sikh had Rehat Maryada completely going I bet they would be able to get through without the scanner going off
