Gurfateh, shere punjab are sitting with shastar in hand........ behind on the left are hari singh and on the right is a muslim who was prime minister of maharaja ranjit singh. Can somebody validate this picture as TRUE since i found it on the internet.

Gurfateh, Go to http://www.4shared.com/ and in the search box type in words such as singh, kirtan, or the name of a Raagi and you will get loads of keertan that other gurmukhs have uploaded to the net for sharing. Don't forget to click on the folder link which is next to the shabad title, this leads to more shabads. I have only typed in ''singh'' in the search box yet and i have got loads of results.

fateh, don't worry about it 'papi' everythings done by God, its all in Guru sahib da bhana because bhai guriqbal singh is blessed by Gurusahib, did you know he regularly gets the darshan of dhan dhan baba nand singh ji nanaksar kalera vale, who care about him.

fateh, further to post 16 by kam1825 i feel the key to naam simran is actually to strech vaheguruu gurmantr and repeat it slowly, i read a book by the present jatherdar of takht patna sahib on naam simran, they also say you should repeat slowly with a firm voice they qouted from gurbani 'har ka bilov na bilovo mere bhai, sahej bilovo jese tat na jahe' english meaning;- don't rush repeating naam, repeat naam in such a way that the essence is not lost.

fateh, all that posted negatively on this thready are confused and misunderstood. first of all sant never said to anybody do mathatek, if they want to let them carry on doing mathatek, by the way he's many times said no mathateking but people don't stop. secondly there's nothing wrong with a gursikh wearing a kalgi, kalgi is not some bajjar kurehat that now you guys hate this sant......... gurbani and sikh history states that kalgi is no problem in sikhi ........its just that after maharaja ranjit singh and the khalsa raaj that the kalgi went out of fashion and now the latest fashion is to tie your hair like your a woman (at the back of your head) thirdly, theres nothing bigtime wrong with wearing different coloured bana and receiving gifts. fourthly, he no rapist or anything like that so don't even anyone bother posting that crap. the people that always have a go at him are your typical gurdvara pardaan. have you ever seen any sant mahatma in india complain against this guy ??? no its always usa canada or uk where all the pricks are based.

khalsa123, don't let this affect you, even sadhus have bad days when they can't concentrate, don't worry about missing your nitnem, minor faults etc because you can fill these up by doing extra nitnem afterwards when your chardikalla again .... akaal knows its hard just make sure you don't do bajjar kurehat or go nastik, avoid bad sangat and just chill do what you know makes you chardikalla again............ i'm doin ardaas 4ya soon as i hit add reply

fateh, sorry akular the gurmaryada states saskaaar only, infact natural fire is not bad at all, its only fossil fuels like kerosene, gas etc that are bad do you realise you are suggesting to chop maharaaj into a thousand tiny bits and then merge that paper with useless paper, then squeeze this paper, bleach it and then process it into brand new paper. bwoy mahraaj will feelbigtime pain. recycling and environmentally friendly are just latest fashion tricks by the government run media, those fatcats in whitehall jump in a 3 litre jag just to go down the street.

and british sikh lad, then why did seventh guru sahib say that he who has no respect for gurbani, is not even a sikh of mine. i'm all for having bani pamphlets and small magazines etc so that people learn, but where do they always end up ???? wheres the respect for gurbani when the wind is blowing pages and pages of gurbani all around the place, mixing it with dirt, tobacco, condoms etc ???? read bhagat ravdaas ji's bani, for sri gurugranthsahib
