i think i read somewhere that linux doesn't work with ubs internet connections.

and im connected to internet using a 2wire pc port, which uses usb.

so in the end, internet works on windows, but not on ubuntu/linux. = ).

    but, hanji.

    i got ubuntu to work.

    ands its saweeeet.

    BUT.

now i cannot connect to the internet on that computer.

i run the SBC Yahoo DSL.

    are there compatability issues?

    anybody?

  3. lol, hanji bhainji.

its a somewhat hard question to answer. :umm:

    well...hmm..

for me, it just sorta happened. ( as bismaadh kaur bhainay described. = ) )

it started with me listening to.. blue star stories.

i would listen to these stories, and i would watch videos on 1984, and little by little,

it just piled on me, how important religion truly is.

it got to the point where.. grin.gif

for a certain amount of time, i had truly wished that i was there when blue star happened.

i had wished that i had died for my dharam.

and thats when i started realizing i was getting ready for Amrith.

You start to realize what effect Guru ji can really have on you.

and once you realize that effect, your set. :(

Thankfully, with Guru ji's kirpa, i was blessed with Amrith.... a year or so ago. = )

    my two cents.

    Bhul Chuck Maaf.

    About the Film

Driven to action by the murder of a turbaned man in her community, a college student drives across America in the aftermath of 9/11 to discover stories that did not make the evening news. From the still-shocked streets of Ground Zero to the desert towns of the American West, Valarie Kaur's inspiring journey uncovers remarkable stories of hate violence, fear, and unspeakable loss – until she finds the heart of America halfway around the world in the words of widow. Five years in the making, Divided We Fall: Americans in the Aftermath deftly explores race, religion, and what it means to be American in times of national crisis.

Divided We Fall is now on national tour. It has screened at more than 40 campuses and communities in North America since September and was recently featured on BBC and NPR. The film has generated a groundswell of support, including official commendation by the State of California. The film's inspiring story opens up a space for honest storytelling among our audiences, followed by deep dialogue about the community and country we live in and can envision. Tune in to CNN on Tuesday, May 15, at 8pm Eastern time for Paula Zahn's interview with the filmmakers.

Watch the film trailer, follow the national tour, and read news and reviews from across America at www.dwf-film.com.

  6. Thanks..
my opinion, its great, but the "do you" thing kind messes with the flow

yeah, the original ones were: " iKirtan... Do you?" and then " Yeah... and iTabla."

But when I re-made then i decided I wanted them to be independent of each other.

    iTaus

    or

    iSarangi

    or

    iDilruba!!

    possible?

Yeah, those are possible.. but u need to supply me with good pics of people playing them. =)

    cool!

    ill look for pictures!

    ill pm to you, yea?
