Sorry papi, I wasn't referring to your comment. I actually agree with your comment that this type of a view is a problem. But, I was referring to "Ghetto Superstar" who doesn't seem to want to read what I've been writing.

I can only apologize so many time veero. The poster asked for an honest opinion, so I gave one... even with a statement saying that I AM WRONG. I've never denied that. I will continue to say that my opinion is wrong. I'm not perfect.

Recently, a law has been passed in the US which gives you the legal right to unlock your phone. Call the carrier who you purchased the phone from, and they are required to help you unlock it. Usually it involves just typing in a code into the phone.

    Lol, class A <banned word filter activated> I am :D

I did say it was a flaw of mine that I am trying to improve upon. The ones that irk me are those that take amrit one day, and a week later shave it all off. I've had bad experiences honestly, and I admit that that is clouding my judgment.

say "no" and stand up for yourself bhenji. Its wrong for other people to force you and dictate who you should spend the rest of your life with.

It's your life, and your decision!

Sikhism is "about" doing whatever you want as long as you have good reasons. Don't confuse sikhi with "punjabi" or "indian". In my experience, anything that is "punjabi" is usually wrong.

So you can move out if you want, stay home if you want (and your parents let you). It doesn't matter. What is most important is to not sacrifice your sikhi.

Well it depends based on how much activity you do... if you're really active, then 2000 calories may not be enough, but if you arn't, it could be too much.

The only way to really tell is by looking at weight gain/loss over time. If you start losing weight when you're a pretty healthy individual (the real definition of healthy, not the brown version where healthy means fat and weak means skinny), then you are probably not eating enough.

It doesn't really contradict itself. The problem is, most people look at each quote in isolation: or just the one line, or the part of the one line that supports their thoughts.

If you look at the entire paragraph (pauree), or sometimes the entire page, then you can make more sense of what is being said. Sometimes the meat quotes are not being said in reference to the meat issue, they are being said in relation to other things like people who claim that they are holy because they do this or that.

The previous posts sum it up: If a girl loves you if you are clean-shaven but not with your kesh, what DOES she love? Answer: not YOU!

If anything, keeping your kesh will only ensure that whoever you end up with (as long as they willingly enter into a relationship) shares the same values as you, and you will likely be happier in the long run.

The other thing you can do is copy it, then in MS Word, go Edit-->Paste Special. Then select as Rich text (there are others that will work too) and click 'OK'.

g35's right. You need to mount the original image. I use Daemon tools to do that (its free). Install it from the mounted image. So whenever you want to play it, mount the image-file first, and then run the program.

There is a bug in the software, so be careful of the "history" list... sometimes when you click it or try to search in it, it freezes and crashes.

Also, always use the "hide" button that shows up on the mini shabad navigator... I don't know why some people insist on closing the power point, quitting the navigator, minimizing the powerpoint, and bringing up STTM when the hide button does it all in one click!

Sticking with a lunar calendar is a bit weird though... think about it. One year you celebrate Vaisakhi in the winter, one year it would be in the summer... it would never stay the same! This is because the Lunar calendar is NOT the same one that our planet follows.

At the time, it was used for convenience... because that is what the hindus used at the time. But now, wouldn't you rather celebrate a spring event 100years from now in the spring?

    Bani Guru, Guru hai Bani.

I agree that a lot of people treat the "book" as the Guru but pay little attention to the actual Guru, the bani written inside. It reminds me of an argument I had once, where someone was saying that gurbani on a computer can't be taken to be the Guru... this is obviously wrong. Its not the paper, or the binding, or the ink, or the hard cover that makes it a Guru. Its the Gurbani inside.

and Papi, I think you should grow up.

Actually, this is a hoax. He was claiming something on the order of 450GB on a sheet of fullscap paper: 8" x 14".

Google it up: many people have shown that this is IMPOSSIBLE. (The best resolution you can get is about 1200dpi, especially for a scanner. So that equals 134,400 dots on one sheet of paper (going right to the edges). The best quality color recognition that you can get is MAYBE 256 colors (for a scanner). so that means 34,406,400 possible combinations.

That works out to 32.8 MB of data. Not 450GB.

And also, the guy saw 432 pages of typed paper on a 4 inch card. That is only a few kb of data.

People change, sadly, and if that person is feeling distant it may be they are depressed, or maybe they are finding a different crowd to hang out in. Either way, don't push yourself too much, but if they want to leave, let em.

    How does free sound? http://www.officelive.com

Microsoft has this thing called "Microsoft Office Live" which is a web hosting service. The "basics" level is free and it provides:

    1. Free domain (eg: http://www.gurdwara.com)

    2. Free space 500MB

    3. Built in website development program (easy to use)

    4. 25 email addresses for your site (eg: bob@gurdwara.com)

I believe its also advertising free, so that means its just whatever you want to put onto the site. Its certainly worth checking out!!

I use "WMP classic"... its amazing software that can play seriously every format known to mankind... its crazy. I've used it for all types of audio and video, including shockwave and .flv. (It can also play Realplayer and Quicktime streams so you don't need to download either of those, and stop all that stupid preloading programs that they have cause of those programs.)
