I need to get a new printer however i don't have a clue about printers and i was just wondering if i could get some help in choosing Printer type: All in One Make: HP (If differ please state why) Budget: -£180 Features: High resolution Scanner/Copier, Fax Machine, Card reader, USB 2.0, MAC OSX 10.5 compatible, Low running cost etc.. (please note i know nothing about printers!)

At the Minute I use Lightwave 3D, as this is whats on offer. i have 3ds Max, and will be getting the new Maya shortly however i think by using Lightwave 3D i am limiting myself as im not using the full potential of 3d modeling and animation packages, therefore i was thinking of learning another package. 1. 3ds Max 2. Maya from other peoples PERSONAL point of view they say that 3ds Max is a run down version of Maya, so i was thinking of Learning Maya, but it may be to advanced as i still dont know how to use Lightwave 3D fully Most people i've talked to say; 3d modeling - Lightwave Modeler Animation and rendering - Maya

is there no other way that i coud get STTM or any other gurbani searcher onto the PDA.. i just wanted to use the PDA for STTM, other then that i wouldnt realy use the PDA lol.. what else can i use it for?

i was given a, 'PalmOne Tungsten|T5' with no pen, or charging cables, but was about to purchase them (most likley ebay), however i wanted to know; 1. is it possible to Install 'STTM' 2. is it any good 3. should i even bother buying the pen and charging cables? 4. what else would i need to buy? 5. how would i install STTM? (i know NOTHING! about PDAs)

At the end of the day it comes down to personal choice, If you enjoy using Microsoft computers then go for one, but id suggest trying the MacBook Pro, because like i sed in the last post software compatibility is not an issue any more. it WAS.. but now everything that is available on a PC is available on a Mac, apple also have there own version, which to be honest, are much better i.e iLife 08 - which comes standard on every mac iWork '08 - for only £55 you got all the features of Office but better!... the same as Word, Excel and PowerPoint But like i said Personal Choice..

which do you find easy, and most comfortable to use?

Just get - MacBook Pro the simple reasons are; 1. no need to customise 2. very simple to use 3. will last you a life time 4. offers so much more then vista 5. amazing OS (OS X Leopard) with amazing features.. (baring in mind that Microsoft have been comparing 'Vista' too 'OS X Tiger' which is 3-4years old) 6. NO software or virus worries 7. small and nippy (sutiable for traveling) 8. 'Front Row' - Apples version of "windows media Centre" 9. lets you GET AWAY from Microsoft (a must do)

is there anyway of getting 'SikhiToTheMax Gurbani Searcher' For OS X?... i know there are ways but.. they arent very good.. 1. VMware Fusion - it runs Pritty Slow 2. Boot camp - have to keep restarting to get into windows (which i dont really like 'windows') 3. Parallels Desktop 3.0 - Extreamly slow, as you are running an OS inside an OS are there any other way?... is there one create for Mac?

fateh jee how do you get gurmukhi fonts working on the internet using a apple mac, i've download the fonts from STTM.com however after installing them the fonts still dont work im unable to read th gurmukhi, can anyone help?? Doesnt matter got it working! no need to reply on this topic
