  1. How did you conclude they were Hindus ? Usually in Mumbai it is the muslim youth who misbehave with foreigners and use the crowd or mob as a cover for molesting vulnerable girls.

    this had already happened during New Year's Eve as well. Mumbai also has a huge floating and resident muslim population.

    From all my years in India, and for all their sins, rarely have I seen ordinary hindus misbehave with women when in a group or by themselves. Usually one of the positive features of India and it's hindus are that even in an urban setting they are more or less respectful towards women. The only exception to this is noticed in Western UP or Delhi which are an exception though only to a degree.

    Western UP and Delhi happened to be centres of the Mughal Empire and thus it is natural that those who lived in these parts didn't usually get their women treated with respect and neither did they bother to return those favours to anyone else.

I am proud to declare I alone took the step of stopping followers of sirsa dera from entering our locality and made enemies of his followers. One need initative which is not only missing in leaders but in common sikhs.

    Sri Dasam Grant is not an issue of debate.

    However there can be positive discussions which aim at understanding the essence of Gurbani.

    Hence there is nothing like "Pro or Anti Dasam Granth". However there are believers and non believers of Guru's bani.

    And the message of the entire panth and Akal Takhat has been clear to those non believers....."Shararti Ansar" (mischievous mongers)

    Faridabad Cult doesn't even need any mention here. They are heretics who publically denigrate every bani of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, even Nitnem, Amrit and Ardas.

    And Hawk13 I would suggest that instead of writing posts based on hearsay you go and do some basic study on the banees that constitute our Nitnem. In one post you denounced Ramavtar without even knowing that couplets from the composition are part of Rehras Sahib. Swayya "Bahe Gahe Jab Te..." forms the last stanza of Ramavtar where Guru Sahib has clearly given the message that though he has heard of King Ram and has written about him, he doesn't believe in Ram (as God).

    But there r several birs as far as ardass and nitnem banis r concerned inder singh ji those disputing these cease to be sikhs but in ram avtar why name of shyam appears and at the end of this guru ji must had clarified he as does not believe in avtar wad.   4. veer many a time it has been said that Sikhs are Hindus. Even the Indian constitution decrees that. There was a fool who even wrote a book in hindi and mentioned how Guru Granth Sahib mentions the word Ram fourteen hundered times. But veer, has anybody claiming Sikhs to be Hindus ever quoted from Dasam Granth? if yes then please let me know where. thanks

    Bro first I want to clarify that supreme court larger constitutution bench has held sikhs as not part of hindu fold and this judgement cannot be overruled by even division bench. Secondly name of ram is just reference to akalpurukh not to any king or hindu gods rather GRANTH SHAIB contradicts strongly hindu gods and goddeesses. In the megazines run by RSS organisations such as bharat vikas parishad in their weekly publications with reference to dasam granth calls guru gobind singh as comming from the lineage of luv and kush and has done tap of shiv and shiva( durga) at hemkunt shaiab. I have great respect for hemkunt shaib but when guru ji has rejected concept of jap, tap, vart how can he do it. perhapa in his previous birth our guru ji must have done bhakti another interesting point is that period mentioned about the guru ji tap was such accoding to scientists ther was sea in place of wheremountains stands today even one can find signs of life during that period.   5. I used to have doubts about DG in past. But now i am clear in my mind and that has taken me nearer to GOD.

    Dhan guru gobind singh. Dhan Khalsa who is gururoop. Mone should be the last to question to Khalsa. Khalsa does whatever it wants. If Khalsa wants to do parkash of DG with SGGS (although at lower level), even Guruji would accept this. The same Guru who had to leave Chmakaur at the order of Khalsa, the same Guru who was punished by Khalsa for touching his teer at a pirs samadh. That was the love and respect the Guru himself showed to Khalsa he created. Who are we to question what Khalsa does.

    Dear brother u r right but u should also know GURU JI had prescribed the SIKH REHAT MARYADA without rehat one cannot be sikh as per rehat only prakash of GURU GRANTH SHAIAB can be done no other granth can be placed although some of nitnem banis r part of DSAM GRANTH which r recited in all gurdwaras. I have just referred to part of some verses which r regarded as againist the gurmat, Further whereever guru ji goes the bir of GURU GRANTH SHAIB WAS CARRIED even in war time.     You do not know what you are talking about. Dohra is from rehras sahib but is taken from RAM AVTAR, So are the otehr verses which are not from chaupai sahib but from RAM AVTAR.

    Note the name in DOHRA. What is that? How it is different from sikh thought.

  11. Exept for sikhs all fanatics from other religion r using unethic methods to destroy sikhi this is latest trend . We should not be soft on muslims, hindus and chirstains fanatics.While muslims useignorant sikh girls ,hindus fanatics also doing same in punjab. Chirstains schools and their missionaries r doing in rural punjab exhort family members of sikhs to burn sikh gutkas this is happening in bathinda, patti, gobinwal shaiab ,tarntarn shaiab. Sikh families flounts their kids r convent educated but these kids before bowing to GRANTH SHAIAB in gurdwara pays respect to chirst bu making cross on chest, Did any sikh force the people from other religion to accecpt his practices the answer is no, It is also true some top convent schools located in state of HIMACHAL PRADESH has great respect for all religions particular sikhism one such school r bishop cotton , convent of jesus and mary, larreto. In bishop cotton school it is essential for sikhs to wear dastar . Unlike convent schools of punjab where there r instances where sikh boys were punished for wearing dastar, If muslim fanatics r using sikh girls girls should be taught about rich heritage of sikhism and muslims fanatics should be taught how one can forget about bullet injuries but not injuries from kirpan types such as teghas, sirohi ,khandas . They should be shown proper place. and fanatic hindus should also be accoded same treatment

    Prakash of Guru Granth Sahib and Guru Dasam Granth Sahib should be done in every gurudwara how it use to be done before. This is not Beadbi of our eternal Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahibji maharaj. It would be Beadbi if Guru Dasam Granth Sahib jis prakash was done without the presence of Guru Granth Sahib. Simple

    And may I add when I write Guru Dasam Granth Sahib it means, that this is the granth of Guru Gobind Singh ji and that why

    "Guru Dasam" is written as a prefix.

    And I regonize Guru Granth Sahib as my Guru and as the Guru of all humanity.

    I was listening to Katha by Giani Anoop Singh from the Bir Ras Darbar programme he says Guru Granth sahib ji tells us how high or low our souls can go and what has happened and can happen. i.e Maharaj tell us about the history of soul in this world. Guru Dasam Granth Sahib also tells us how high or low our bodies can go and what has happened and can happen.

  13. I have not read anything in spn but from the posts of both pro and anti desam granth posts there is lack of understanding and clarity on following points this confusion is created by both the lobies particularly kala afghanas.

    MAIN POINTS

    1 It is right true gurgadi was given to GURU GRANTH EVERY BODY FORGETS CONCEPT OF GURU PANTH IN FORM OF PANJ PYARAS THE PHYSICAL FORM OF GURU WHY WE OFFER KARAH PRASAD TO PANJ PYRAS IT is the recoginition of guru panthand GURU GRANTH is accopnied by panj pyras.

    2 DO NOT CONSISDER TEACHINGS OF DESAM PITA DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER GURUS IT IS THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF MISSION STATED BY GURU NANAK EVERY GURU IS KNOWN NOT BY HIS NAME BUT BY NANAK AS IS EVIDENT FROM NAME NANAK APPEARS AT THE END OF WAK OR HUKUM.

    3 Dal Singh it is true sikhs before DASAM PITA were sikhs but without code or rehat although all all sikh GURUS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS WERE KESHADHARI SIKHS EVEN THIER ATTENDANTS WERE KESHADHARIS AS EVIDENT from ANY OF THE WALL PAINTINGS IN DURBAR SHIAB AND LOCKS OF KESH OF GURU AMARDASS ARE PRESERVED IN GURDWARA CHUBARA SHAIB IN GOBINDWAL SHAIB.

    4 SIKH REHAT MARYADA BASED UPON REHATNAMAS of sikh scholars during the times of desam pita is great testimony to concecpt of rehat .Without rehat one cannot be sikh.

    5 JAP SHAIB, SWYIAS , 10 SWWIYAS PART ONE ,PART 2 33 SWIYAS ,AKAL USTAD , CHUPAI SHAIB BOTH , ARDASS R WRITTEN BY GURU GOBIND SINGH JI THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY ANY DOUBT ABOUT IT.THOSE DOUBTING IT R ENEMIES OF KHALSA.

    AREA OF COTROVERSY

    TITLE IN SOME BIRS DASAM PITA JI BANI IS WRITTEN OR BACCHITAR NATAK IS WRITTEN OLDEST BIR IS WITH BUDDHA DAL IAM NOT SURE BUT IT IS WITHOUT TITLE .Perhaps my friend Jassa can throw some light on it.

    2 Second cotradiction is BANI WHICH CAN BE TERMED AS ANTI PANTHIC SUCH AS TRIYA CHIRTYA,HAKKIYAT, RAM AVTAR, KRISHNA AVTAR IN WHICH WRITER OR POET IS SHYAM. 33 SWWIYASSES AND OTHER SWIYAASES CONTRADICTS BOTH RAM, KRISHNA AND OTHER GODS CAN GURU JI COTRADICTS HIMSELF ANSWER IS NO THESE MAY BE WRITTEN BY SOME OF COURT POETS OR SOME CURRENCY WHICH IS TO BE ESTABISHED BY REASEACH NOT BY NAME CALLING OR THREATENING EACH OTHER.

    3 THRID CONTRADICTION IS TAPSYA OR TAP HOW CAN GURU JI DO RITUALS HIMSELF WHEN HE HIMSELF REJECTS THESE PRACTICES IN SWIYAAS WHICH IS PART OF NITNEM OF AMRITDHARI SIKH.

    4 HOW CAN GURU JI JUSTIFIES USE OF LIQUOR OR BHANG OR OPIUM IN SOME OF THE VERSES AND CAN BE DISGRACEFUL TO WOMEN AS IN SAME REHATNAMA HE PROHIBITS SIKHS FROM HAVING SEX OUTSIDE WEDLOCK.AND FROM TAKING ANY INTOXIANTS

    THIS ISSUE CAN BE SOLVED AFTER SITING TOGEATHER AND HAVING OPEN MINDED DISCUSSIONS AMONG LEARNED PERSONALTIES NOT BY SELF STYLED SCHLOARS LIKE KALA AFGANA, OR SPOKESMAN PEOPLE.

    SO BE BEWARE OF SOCALLED SCHLOLARS WHO R BENT UPON DEVIDING PANTH IAM WRITING IN CAPS FOR UNDERSTANDING.

See the writing in the wall sikhs r being targeted by everybody in Ludhana village few days back a dera head forced a gursikh youth to bow before a mazar who approached the jathebandis when sikh activists went there dera heads escaped and singhs saw many amritdhari sikhs paying homage to mazar then dera head openly dared sikhs to stop his anti sikh activities. That dera head is not as powerful as sirsa dera. In punjab u can come accross sikh youths being beatenup by poorbias. This is because of sikhs r more interested in luxury cars,dowry items etc. Those tring to maintain real sikh cultures of learning martial arts, shooting ,milatary knowldge r looked down upon. Unless we revert back to milatary culture I will not be surprised in future sikhs being killed like goats will be common sight.It is essential to think of ur carreer but if u r not safe then everything will be useless.

It is shame full cops numbering 500 -700 laid siege to village to kill a local dacait leader Gansham Kewat first police cliam there were 24 gunmen later it turned out to be one , Cops were armed with modern weapons like GRENADE LAUNCHERS.AK 47S ,INSASS,9MM CARBINES ,LMGS AND WEARING BULLET PROOF JACKETS. THE LONE DACAIT WAS ARMED WITH BOLT ACTION .315 BORE RIFLE . Is the rifle 315 bore better than ak 47 answer is no. cOPS LOST 5 men apart from very senior officer being wounded total 12 injured , they could kill the dacait after he exhusted his amno. further more none of the cop dared to go near the gunman. More shameful is that dacait came from boatman family with very litle milatary training as compared to commondoes. This shows indian state 's weakness.

    Our first mission was at the “UNIQUE HOME” Girls Orphanage in Jallandhur, all money raised was donated there.

    Now we are working with Khalsa Aid and Sikh Prisoners charity, and all further proceeds will go to these charities. Please check out both charities that are doing great work voluntarily unlike other larger charities that are paid for their work.

    Here at AKAAL MUAY THAI, we are very fortunate to be trained by instructors of the calibre and experience of such as KRU JAY (Jatinder Singh Dhillon), who have unparalleled knowledge in authentic Muay Thai. We have up to 5 Instructors per class, all whom teach voluntarily with a combined experience of fighting and learning of nearly 80 years!!

    Gatka or Muay Thai ??

    We firmly believe that weapons based training such as Gatka is essential for Sikhs (although Muay Thai does have a weapons based art – Krabi Krabong, this is for very advanced practitioners). This is why in Southall we have chosen Wednesdays so not to clash with the local Akharas whom we have close relations with.

    However we also believe that hand to hand fighting is very important in the current climate, for example Shastars should only be used at the last resort, and sadly due to the poor physical and martial condition of many of us today, the Kirpan is likely to be the first resort. We aim to teach people to use the 8 weapons first (see above) they already possess before having to resort to the Siri Sahib.

    Where and When

    At the moment we have a weekly class on Wednesdays from 6.45pm to 9.00pm for £5 at Southall Community Centre, the same venue where the Baba Ajit Singh Ji Gatka Akhara holds their classes on Tuesdays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

    Please support by showing up, just try it once and if it is not for you then that’s fine, we are aiming this at the Sikh community although all are welcome. Males and Females attend the class, but train separately from each other (same hall), the only restriction is that we do not wish to teach the wrong people i.e Thugs, hooligans groups who promote mindless violence. All students are vetted and we have a friendly family atmosphere.

    Brother it is nice to hear that sikh youths in Uk R more concerned about fitness and martial arts unlike in punjab where even petty criminals from bihar and other hindi belt can be seen bashing up sikh boys on streets in petty disputes it is utmost neeed to learn martial arts but my favourite being the shotokan style of karete also apart from emty handed skills some impotant weapons for self defence r1. Tegha 2 Kasshmiri small kirpan now very rare in orginal form.3 Sirohi tulwar only buddha dal is known to be manufaturing3 Chinese kirpans of various sizes biggest plus point is these never gets rusted saif tulwar for quick strike these can be used when u r under serious threat.

    Fire arms self defence r 1.shotgun 2 hand gun 357 caliber revolver is very good defensive weapon unlike pistols which have problem of bullet stucking and can be dangerous .3. .22 rifle even a kid can handle 4. the big bore rifle can be learned at later stage .Only taurus pistol of italy is the best among the category of pistols.One should also learn the use of firearms in india anti sikh fascists r like rss r organising daliy firing practises in punjab to even small boys and girls under 14.

Only selected verses of great bhagats which r related to ALMIGHTY is included in holy granth shiab, secondly phhyical form of GURU THE GURU PANTH in form OF PANJ PYRAS accompanies guru granth if any disrespect is shown to GURU GRANTH the GURU PANTH will be angry, it was sikh gurus only who gave respectable place to bhagats and low castes. IF RIOTS AGAIN ERUPTS IN PUNJAP THE SIKHS WILL GIVE THE RIOTERS MOST SUITABLE TREATMENT.
