  2. A group of Sikhs from Sydney are sitting on 13 hours hunger strike to express their soldarity with Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, who is on hunger strike at Gurdwara Sri Lakhnaur Sahib, 10th Patshahi near Ambala in Haryana. It’s well known to each and everybody that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has continued to raise his voice for the freedom of Sikh political prisoners, now from Gurdwara Sri Lakhnaur Sahib in Haryana. He is facing some health issues, but he continues to be steadfast about his demands for the release of Singh prisoners. To feel the pain and agony that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh ji Khalsa is going through for the freedom of Sikh Prisoners, Sikh Sangat from Revesby Gurdwara has organised and started a program to show their support for Bhai Gurbaksh Singh ji Khalsa, where one member from Sikh Community will sit on Hunger Strike at Gurdwara Sahib in Revesy, Sydney from 6am to 7pm everyday. The soldarity campaign was started as of 30th November following Ardaas. Two Sikh members Gurwinder Singh from Pathankot and Rajwinder Singh from Patiala sat on first day hunger strike at Gurdwara Sahib in Revesby. One of the Hunger Strike Campaign spokesman, Bhai Upkar Singh has requested other Community members to join their hands together and to be part of the movement by offering their names as per their availability. 5. Recently there have been some calls for Giani Gurbachan Singh to resign over a statement which he gave to the press on December 7. From this recent press release from the secretariat of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib it becomes clear that his previous statement was twisted by the press, especially by 'Rozana Spokesman' (which claimed that Jathedar Sahib has taken a U-turn from his support to Bhai Gurbaksh Singh). The anti Panthic stand of Rozana Spokesman is again exposed. It has always been creating mischief in the Panth by publishing twisted news reports that serve its own purpose, with a sole aim of denigrating the status and authority of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib. The latest press note from Akal Takhat Sahib clarifies these misconceptions about its stand on Bhai Gurbaksh Singh's struggle. Maybe someone can take the seva of translating this into English for a wider reach. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=554917884594492&set=a.554918424594438.1073741833.473270179425930&type=1&theater www.akaltakhatsahib.com/pressnote.jpg www.akaltakhatsahib.com/latestnews.php
