I recently retook amrit as before I took it at an young age and made many bajjer kurhets so I wanted to know that the punj pyare only asked me what bajjer kurhets I did and about my nitnem so I told them that but I forgot to tell them that I made the same mistakes over and over again was I suppose to tell them that I made the same bajjer kurhet many times if not do I go back again and say it all over again and they made me retake the whole amrit fully so please POST THIS ON THE BOARD AS FAST AS YOU CAN LIKE IN THE GUPT THING I REALLY NEED THIS ANSWERED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLS

Hello! I just wanted to give some feedback to the Sikh community, This comming from a white Christian (I only mention this so you know the demographic and see not all people from a certain group are the same) I hope the following will be acceptable coming from me, Just some feelings and thoughts that I wanted to get across. Too often people only speak to say bad things. Firstly I'd like to say that from personal experience I've always found Sikhs to be kind, honest ,helpful ,polite and accepting and I was raised by my parents ( both Christian) with a similar sterotype passed down to me. I wanted to highlight a problem which alot of newly practicing Sikhs are encountering, which is findings a potential partner for marriage. In the UK and the West, the Parchaar front is strong and alot of non-practicing Punjabis have over the years come under the fold of Sikhi and become either Keshdharis, Amritdharis and practicing Sikhs. However, one thing that the Parchaar has not been able to account for is the after-effects of such Parchaar on individuals without prior or post Gursikh social groups, who are now practicing Sikhs still without that support. I have learned that today a Sikh girl is to get married to a Bhuddist at Belvedere Gurdwara in secret.. I am deeply saddened to learn this, given the Akal Takht's Hukamnama which banned such practices from occrurring. The wedding was due to take place at Barking Gurdwara, but was cancelled due to mass protests by Sikhs. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
