  12. I think Bhai Jugraj Singh (Basics of Sikhi) had a love marriage as his wife is an Amritdhari Keski wearing Gori.First verify then seek advice from him.
  13. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Yes it does happen in India, Akj Smagams. Depending on the Bujjar Kurehat hands are tied, some cases face blackened & paraded in front of Sangat. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh
  14. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Stay cool and concentrate on your Jeevan. Everyone reaps what they sow ! Haters get hate, Loveable love.
  15. Hypocrites aren't Religious & God fearing but we too have flaws, only Guru-Kartar are infallible !
  16. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh That's how it is ! Parents are biased and kids are "Pappu's" when it comes to marriage.
  17. Kindly do a survey on Sikhsangat. Ask how many members had a love marriage or married out of caste/jatha. You will get the picture. I am not in favour of any of this just stating the facts.
  18. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Singh most of the girls you consider Singhni's are born n brought up in Amritdhari families. Their parents mindset is traditional & conservative so chances of girls getting to choose is very slim. Jatha, caste & your family background is more important than your job & character. My suggestion, either let your parents arrange a match or marry a Kaur by Choice not birth.

  20. Do you believe in WAHEGURU If yes then have faith in Almighty. naa ko moorakh naa ko siaanaa | No one is foolish, and no one is clever. varathai sabh kish thaeraa bhaanaa | Your Will determines everything. http://igurbani.com/?shabadid=283&id=3922#bmb=1 Anand Karaj is no joke !
  21. In India, passing percentage of CA is very low, see for yourself http://www.charteredclub.com/pass-percentage-of-ca-final/ It is advisable to do CPA (American equivalent) from UAE. Coz it is easier to pass, cheaper compared to doing in US and MNC's will prefer you for a job over an Indian CA. Have a look - http://www.pwc.com/m1/en/pwcacademy/professional-training/cpa-courses.html
  22. If she is not going to be a housewife then why did guys parents fix this marriage ? There is no mention of dowry so what clinched the deal ? Once married efforts must be made to stay married, what is wrong with a bit of spin doctoring ? Am not sexist just stating the facts, guys who migrate n become Ghar Jamai's are also treated as house servants, please check :-)
  23. Look on the bright side you & your family could use a house maid. Sponsor her and she would do all the washing, ironing, cleaning & cooking in return for food n lodging.

  25. Guys it all comes down to "Shardha" & feel good factor. It is not necessary that we all have same priorities in matters of devotion. Better to ask Granthi ji what Seva is required and follow suit.
