  2. and we have to reach sachkhand before we die, thats what gurbani tells us "Its before death". If we don't, we will be born again and again till we eventually reach it. And we only reach sachkhand, when we are free of karmas. And we only become free of karmas, when the EGO dies and GOD lives. Guru Ji says "Where there is no EGO, GOD himself is there". i'm a paapi! I just know that we need both things to get there, but I am million miles away! I am a bigger paapi than you....but even if we are mahapaapi's GOD still loves us and helps us each and every moment.
  3. Thank GOD. Not me. I am just a sinner. God is the doer of everything. Merciful lord is wonderful, when the Lord becomes merciful, one's thirst for the LORD wakes up.
  4. There is no special method of meditation. Relax, do some yoga if you can before to calm the body and mind. Sit down in a quiet room, close your eyes, and repeat "SATNAAM SHRI VAHEGUROO JEE". You can start verbally, when you get used to it and mind is trained, you can start it repeating it mentally. That is it. Try to do itsame time everyday if you can and start off with 15-20 mins then gradually increase the time when you get used to it 1. Choose a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed by other people. 2. Sit quietly in a comfortable position. 3. Eliminate distractions and interruptions during the period you'll be meditating. 4. Commit yourself to a specific length of time and try to stick to it. 5. Pick a focus word or short phrase that's firmly rooted in your personal belief system. A non-religious person might choose a neutral word like one, peace, or love. Others might use the opening words of a favorite prayer from their religion such as 'Hail Mary full of Grace', "I surrender all to you", "Hallelujah", "Om", etc. In your case it should be "SATNAAM SHREE VAHEGUROO JEE" 6. Close your eyes. This will make it easy to concentrate. 7. Relax your muscles sequentially from head to feet. This helps to break the connection between stressful thoughts and a tense body. Starting with your forehead, become aware of tension as you breathe in. Let go of any obvious tension as you breathe out. Go through the rest of your body in this way, proceeding down through your eyes, jaws, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, upper back, middle back and midriff, lower back, belly, pelvis, buttocks, thighs, calves, and feet. 8. Breathe slowly and naturally, repeating your focus word or phrase silently as you exhale. 9. Assume a passive attitude. Don't worry about how well you're doing. When other thoughts come to mind, simply say, "Oh, well," and gently return to the repetition. 10. Continue for 10 to 20 minutes. You may open your eyes to check the time, but do not use an alarm. After you finish: Sit quietly for a minute or so, at first with your eyes closed and later with your eyes open. Do not stand for one or two minutes.
  5. and we have to reach sachkhand before we die, thats what gurbani tells us "Its before death". If we don't, we will be born again and again till we eventually reach it. And we only reach sachkhand, when we are free of karmas. And we only become free of karmas, when the EGO dies and GOD lives. Guru Ji says "Where there is no EGO, GOD himself is there".
  6. There should be one and only law and that should be divine law. The world will be at peace then, everyone will love each other, earth will become heaven.
  7. SAT SRI AKAL Meditation on 1 IMMORTAL god is above all practices, no matter what. Gurbani tells us over and over to meditate on GOD. Sit down and read any of the banis, if we dont understand, read translations, whats it saying to us? the Truth. Its like the instructions Guru Ji gave us to experience God. Now, we should read it once, twice, three times to figure out the meaning of it. then we shall put it into practice to experience God. To experience Gurbani. To become Gurbani. To experience Truth. To become Truth. To experience what our Guru Ji experienced. To experience God. To become God-like. That is all, SGGS jis tells us everything you need to know to find God. It tells us to become slave of the True Guru by giving tann, mann, dhann to the Guru. This is the only way we are going to lose our EGO. Now, if you read the same thing again and again but dont put into practise, whats the point? Its not going to get us nowhere. A true guru is like a guide that can help you in your spirtual journey to GOD, now if you do what he tells you to, you will succeed and experience GOD like he did. SGGS ji is same, gives you clear guide on your spiritual journey, read it, understand it and practise it. Prabh Ka Simran is above all practices, It is in meditation on 1 GOD where the truth will be revealed to you. It is darkness, where the light will reveal itself to you. Now one may say, what does one gain from meditating, one should rather go and read gurbani to learn Guru Ji's wisdom. That is Guru Ji's wisdom not ours. For us its only knowledge, information to guide on our spiritual journey too. It is in meditation when one goes into samadhee and sun smadhee. GOD lives in samadhi. That is when gurbani will become your wisdom too. Guru ji tells us you may donate golds, diamonds to charities but its not worth a seasame seed in comparison with serving the True Guru and Meditating on 1 GOD. lowest of the low
  8. There is a Guru sitting inside all of us and that Guru is no other but 1 GOD. He is 1 and Guru. He was the Guru in all the Gurus. All of us have the same guru sitting in the home of our own hearts as well. Difference is that the GURU's were facing their Inner Guru/GOD and we are facing our own mann/mind/5 evils etc. Meditation brings us closer to GOD, meditating makes you more and more aware of the GURU within you. Meditation makes you realise true self, it is through meditation where everything is revealed. It is through darkness, the light will be revealed to you. Some people would think that what does one gain from sitting in a quiet room, with eyes closed, repeating the same name again and again. They prefer reading gurbani etc. Ofcourse Gurbani is wonderful but we are not understanding the importance of meditation. Gurbani is the wisdom of the guru's but for us its only knowledge not wisdom. To turn our knowledge into wisdom we have to practice it and experience it. that doesn't mean that we sit 24/7 meditating on God and not do anything else because say if we remember 1 GOd all the times but still doing bad deeds, doing no good, not listening to the guru within us then its all useless. We have to work, go college, eat, have fun and God understands thats so he asks for daswand of the body, mind and wealth that is 10% of our daily time to spend on simran that is 2.4 hour simran, 10 percent of our time doing selfless service and 10% of your earnings back to GOD in others. The aim of the life is to see GOD in all. To be aware of GOD at all times. To experience GOD at all times. To be ONE with GOD at all times. Talk to the friend within you, hes got all answers you're after. But we dont understand it most of the times because it takes our own EGO less then 0.0001 secs to replace what he tells us from our own EGO. Meditation helps us realise your true self, we start to realised our soul and see the that our mind is only made up of thoughts. Our true self is our soul - 1 GOD.

  10. I guess it shows us that Guru Ji is telling that it is all himself - GOD in every being and every thing. It is GOD playing, it is GOD within you asking you these questions trying because he wants to find himself, Then GOD himself answering your questions through the sangat. There is nothing as "ME" in this world, its all him He himself is the actor, he is the director, he is the producer. He himself is the Guru, he himself is the disciple. We are nothing. He is everything. We are just silly people thinking that we something when we dont know any moment, any second could be our end and we wouldn't be able to do anything. HAHA ! Guru Ji tell us that religious rituals, rites and hypocrise are all foolish. You cant fool God. God will only be impressed if you do something Good. Help the poor, serving others without thinking self benefit, chanting his praises, living a truthful life and above all Remembering the GOD in meditation. Guru Ji tells us that reading and holy scriptures ain't going to bring us liberation either. Only NAAM can take us to sachkhand, nothing else and we cant get NAAM till its written on our foreheads. We should do ardaas everyday to GOD and humbly request to be blessed with greatest gift of naam through satguru ji.
  11. It is very hard, almost impossible especially in this time (kal yug). But it is possible because there are people that have done it. Anything is possible with God's grace. You just have to kill the mind, not yourself. There is a difference between what you need to live and what you want to live . By surrendering yourself to the Guru and God, becoming a true bhagat of the Lord, it is easy for impossible to become possible. lowest of the low
  12. Sat Sri Akal, This is the question you shouldn't be asking us because none of us have overcome our own Ego's yet. Ego is mentioned many times in gurbani because EGO is the most powerful evil. Ego is what fuels up the other chors (kaam, krodh, lobh, moh) and ego is what keeps us away from God. Ego wants to dominate God, it wants to be bigger then God. Everytime God speaks through us, our own EGO replaces the message in 0.0001 and then we listen to our own EGO instead of GOD. EGO wants to control you. EGO cannot be beat easily, infact it is the most difficult thing in the world to beat. It is a gift from GOD, everything is a gift from GOD because God has given it to us, so its a gift. There is no such thing as our own. But Ego is a part of the game and in order to win the game we have to beat it. EGO can be beaten by guru's kirpa only. Ego can be overcome if it is written on your forehead only. If you overcome your Ego, you are not one of us. Ego can only be overcome through God's grace. There are many practice that help us control our ego and they are GOD's simran, truthful deeds, seva, becoming lowest of the low, treating yourself lowly than the rest, forgetting yourself and helping others and the most important GURU's blessings. "Serving the true guru, one overcomes their ego". Like Bhai lehna ji served Guru Nanak all his life, he forgot about himself and served Guru ji all his life. "True Guru's heart is the home of God. So serve the true guru, fall at his feet, become his slave, that is the perfect deed". When you completly defeat your EGO, there is no sense of "ME", there is only HIM (GOD). Infact, when you reach this stage, there is no sense of your physical body at all "ME" it only him "SUPREME JYOT" that does everything then. You're in deepest samadhi 24/7, sitting, eating, watching TV you're merged into him. Then you have defeat dharam raj as well because dharam raj watches over deeds that are done forgetting of God. but then it is GOD that does everything through your body, so dharam raj cannot judge us anymore. We are free of karmas then we are free of reincarnations. Then you're a living GOD on earth. But its nearly impossible to completly beat your own EGO. It can only be done through God's grace and perfect destiny. lowest of the low
  13. You're truly blessed. Keep this thirst for GOD, GURU up and one day you will find the truth. Keep searching for the Truth and one day Truth will reveal itself to you.
  14. SAT Sri Akal, We have to understand that there is 1 Guru only and that is God. There is no other Guru. Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Parvati were all eternal Sat-Gurus however for all of them their own own Internal Guru was 1 God. There is only one Guru that is sitting in the hearts of each and everyone of us and that is GOD. We need a True Eternal Guru e.g. Sat-Guru Ji's to help us connect to our own inner satguru. that is why in SGGS ji its mentioned everywhere about the importance of satguru ji in our daily lives. This is because it is almost impossible to connect to our Inner Guru by ourselves. Everytime we are about to do something bad, something we shouldn't do...you get inner call immediately telling you not to do it...that is your Inner Guru telling you not to do it...now you can listen to the Guru and not do it and you will be happy, but if you listen to your own EGO and do it then one day or another you shall pay for it. Now, if we can connect to our own Inner Guru's by ourselves, we dont need no outer guru. There is no need because the guru is already sitting in your heart giving you commands each and every sec but 99.9% of the times we are lost in our own Ego. So, that is why need a True Eternal Guru (The one Who has fully realised his Internal Guru(GOD) and his facing the guru not his own matt (5 evils), because hes the true gurmukh and its then There is no difference between God and him because every single thing done by him is done by GOD. So GOD comes to earth in physical body when the body becomes sat-guru. For example you are reading Guru Granth Sahib Ji to guide you spiritually, but there is already your own internal guru (GOD) sitting in your heart, if you can understand him and follow it, you wont need a outer-guru. But since 99.99% of us cant do that, we need help, guidance and blessings from a Eternal Sat Guru. So all the Guru's of the past e.g. hindu guru's, Sikhs guru's 10 guru sahibans, other religions. They might be different Guru's by their names, physical body, we may know them as different person but truly they are not because it is all 1 GOD within them that is the True Guru. So There is only 1 jyot that is sitting within their hearts and that is same jyot within us. But Sat-Guru have realised the Truth of their existence, that they are GOD not this mind and we are lost in 5 evils. i hope this answers your questions, forgive for any mistakes, this is my own belief, every1 has their own belief so forgive if i cause offence to anyone
  15. and when we bow to a puran brahm giani/sant/satguru it is not the physical body that we are bowing to. it is the supreme being that is sitting inside their hirda that we are bowing to.
  16. go read sukhmani sahib then. it will tell you that brahm giani is God, so how can there be someone higher then God. it says brahm giani is himself the formless lord. there is no difference between a puran brahm giani, puran sant, satguru. it is all same. stop becoming egoistical about the gurus, it was the supreme jyot within the gurus that made them the Guru. There is only one guru and that is GOD - SAT. we say it was 10 gurus were 1st nanak 2nd nanak 3rd nanak but it wasnt. it was all SAT - TRUTH - GOD. all gurus had same jyot within them and that was GOD. if you think that way then you will see no difference between our gurus, other religion gurus and you wont become egoistcal that our gurus were better then all and had most knowledge because iit was all that 1 supremee being in all of them. it was all same and 1 jyot so how can one be better than the other 1?!!!?! if we become egositcal about our own religion, there is no difference between us and other religions then. What is everybody doing, muslims think their religion is the best and prophet was true, christain will say their religion is the best and jesus will come to save you, sikhs will say our gurus were perfect. so we will all are same as them then...
  17. Brahm Giani is God in physical body. Simple. Our guru's were brahm gianis so it was all God in their physical body. Everything they do, talk was all done by God. Like just me said, brahm giani is when you become jivan-mukt, liberated whilst alive. It is when you defeat the 5 evils completly, maya becomes your slave. Brahm Giani is the body in which the ego dies and God lives. Brahm gianis do not have a mind of their own, God's mind is their mind. Basically they are God on earth. so if you come accross one, fall at their feet, wash their feet and you will be ferried across The aim of this life is to become jivan-mukt as well. If we dont, we wil born again, again and again till we defeat 5 evils as well, become jivan-mukt. simple. We are either manmukhs or gurmukh and you cannot be gurmukh till you fully 100% defeat the panj chors and you cannot go back to your source till you defeat them 100%. Man jeetay jag jeet, by winning over your mind, you win GOD.
  18. Yes you are right, but we should recite SATNAAM SHRI VAHEGUROO JI, not waheguru on its own.
  19. BHAI GURDAAS JI VAAR - 1 NAMASKAAR GURDEV KO SAT NAAM JIS MANTER SUNAYEAA BHAVJAL VICHON KADH KEY MUKT PADARATH MAHI SAMAAYEAA JANAM MARAN BHAO KATTEYAA SANSAA ROG VIYOG MITAAYEAA SANSAA EH SANSAAR HAI JANAM MARAN VICH DUKH SABAAYEAA JAM DAND SERON NAA UTEREY SAKAT DURJAN JANAM GAWAAYEAA CHARAN GAHEY GURDEV KEY SAT SHABAD DEY MUKT KARAAYEAA BHAO BHAGAT GUR PURAB KAR NAAM DAAN ISHNAAN DREYDAAYEAA JEHA BEEU TEHA FAL PAAYEAA Bhai Gurdas ji tells us in the first line that Guru nanak dev ji brought "Satnaam" Mantra from dargah for us. in mool mantar Guru ji have clearly told us, that there is ONE God and name is TRUTH. God's name is truth because he is stable and nver changes, he has always been there, still is and always be there. Rest of it is all Maya that keeps on changing each n every sec. and only God is stable and doesnt change. Waheguru is the praise of the Guru. When we say Waheguru we are praising the guru because the guru is the one that connects us to God. It is written everywhere in SGGS ji explaining the important of True Guru. That without true guru, everything is useless, one loses opportunity of this life, one cannot get salvation etc. When we say SATNAAM, we automatically remember all the gurus because it was SATNAAM that lived in their hearts. It was SATNAAM - GOD HIMSELF telling us the truth. Waheguru is incomplete without SATNAAM. So we should recite SATNAAM SHRII VAHEGUROO JEE. SATNAAM is NAAM, but it has to be gurprasadi, so you need to be blessed SATNAAM by SATNAAM (true guru) himself, that is his own eternal blessings. Thats why it says waho waho gobind singh ape gur chela. this mean that GOD himself is the disciple, GOD himself is the teacher. because GOD is everything. SATNAAM lives in you, it lives everywhere, this whole creation/universe lives on SATNAAM. You're born to realise that you're SATNAAM, not the panj chors. SATNAAM is your guru, satnaam was the guru of our gurus, satnaam has been gurus of all prophets, hindu gurus, everyone. IT is all satnaam coming in different bodies. Its a game, you win it by becoming lowest of the low, by forgetting yourself and living for others, by becoming dust of everyone feet. When you become nothing, God becomes everything. and that is when you get mukti, because you have realised the TRUTH. Only TRUTH Can set you free. Nothing else.
  20. I sincerely thank you for attending to my response and giving your input. It is understood that when one gets the naam for simran at amrit sanchar [khande bate pahul].What is that .Is that not Naam for sikhs.? Kindly clarify.I shall be grateful. LOL if i answer that question, everyone will start arguing with me. i am not here to create fights, i am here to share thoughts with God lovers. I will keep my beliefs to myself. Everyone has right to believe what they want. Sorry
  21. Because Guru is God, God is Guru. There is no difference between Guru and God, they are truly one. Dhan dhan Guru nanak dev ji dhan dhan guru angad dev ji dhan dhan guru amar das ji dhan dhan guru ram das ji dhan dhan guru arjan dev ji dhan dhan guru hargobind ji dhan dhan guru har rai ji dhan dhan guru tegh bahadur ji dhan dhan guru gobind singh ji dhan dhan SGGS ji :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW:
  22. Anyone who loves my God and inspires others to love him and remember him too i am forever at their feet
  23. Sat Sri AKAL Naam is what connects us to God, takes us back to our source, Truth-Sat, God. Naam is given to you by the true guru so you can earn it and go back to your true source and find salvation (freedom from reincarnations). You will get naam when its written upon your forehead, and you will get it from a true satguru only. Naam is Satnaam. We come across this many times in SGGS ji "EKONKAAR SATNAAM SATGURU PARSAD ....1 GOD, TRUTH IS HIS NAME, REALISED BY BLESSINGS OF A TRUE GURU.." infact sggs ji starts of this, "EKONKAAR SATNAAM KARTA PURAKH NIRBHAO NIRVAIR AKAAL MOORAT AJOONE SAIBHANG..."GURPRASAD" that is there is only 1 GOD, truth his name, his qualities and then that he can only be realised by the true guru. so naam is satnaam but you have to be blessed by it through a True Guru. forgive for any mistakes
