"so why is it that both are not bothered anymore?" Reading gurbani in larevaar is not easy thats fact it takes both time, patience, and guru sahib kirpa to do. The sad fact is that we as sikhs have become lazy we dont want to put time in do read larevaar we want QUANTITY of sikhs not QUALITY. I have two views: 1) Those who do not know about gurbani written in larevaar and should be read in larevaar should be educated on the issue that larevaar is a must. 2) Those who do know that gurbani should be read in larevaar and do nothing about it, and are just ignorant about the issue I find that bang out of order. Solutions The key thing to do is educate everyone about this issue especially our naujwan as they are tomorrows khalsa I know that gursikhs who have sudy at damdami taksaal can read also teach gurbani in larevaar. There are also many other gursikhs who can read gurbani in larevaar to benti to them to teach you they wont say no. If you havent got a teacher of any sorts like me get audio of bania eg sukhmani sahib and have a larevaar gutka and go through it. Its takes time but I think guroo sahib would be happy as your putting effort to read bani the way guroo sahib wrote it. from what i know: 1) the palce you are writing gurbani must be cleaned and a clean chadar shuould be placed underneathe 2) ishnaan should be done before writing gurbani 3) the paper, pen etc must be new and for paper know where it has been 4) do ardas do guroo sahib asking to accpet your seva 5) the gurbani you are copying make sure ankaurs, siharees, letters, and numbers are correct 6) wear a hazooria of course lol 7) when you finished writing gurbani do ardas to guroo sahib thanking him This is only dass's limited knowledge on what you might need to do please add anything you might feel necessary thanks BIGGEST benti is to write the whole of gurbani in larevaar the way guroo sahib intended doing that you yourself will gradually learn how to read gurbani in larevaar

i remember at school i used to day dream a lot and was so lost i wanted to ask a question about something instead of calling the teacher miss i go MUM hahaha funnier thing is the teacher goes yes son just to make it even worse hahaha i did that bout 3/4 times in my entire high school time ah waheguroo good times :D

few weeks back we had a simran programme round a mates house we're about to have langar and i wanted to wash my hands, at this moment in time im in the kitchen of my mates house, i ask one of my older penjjis where ths rasoo, what i wanted to say wheres the gusalkana lol. I argued lovingly to her that i was right until 5 mintues later i was like OH MY WAHEGUROOO lol she couldnt stop laughing felt more of a bandar than usual lol

waheguroo please tell me where ive attack peoples views i listen to kirtan done by tanti saaj, if you read my post i go "its funny how we pick and choose rehats" i was pointing out that hukam is to jap naam. Problem i see anougst youngster they put anything down they dont follow or understand down this isnt going to help your jeevan, you can have your view as along as it is in line with gurmat.
