  1. Amazing experiences of the Gursikhs. I've seen the Bibi Ji in photos but never knew who she is.
  2. You hit the nail on the head! The truth is many people want to see him as a spiritual leader. These excuses that he is just a yoga teacher and that's all people see in him. Well, how come we don't see anyone bowing to their Doctor or Physical trainer or their PE teacher! Stop making excuses, the man wants to be a Baba and he's getting an excellent platform for a ready made Sikh audience by going to a our Ghars! We are so stupid we can't even see this. Wish there were more katarpanthis in this world, what do you think namastang?
  3. I believe the R4G campaign sewadars are at Nottingham right now. They are talking to Baba Budha Ji Gurdwara Prabhandak committee in Nottingham who are willing to accomodate the Anand Karaj.
  4. When I have kids I'm going to move to Hayes :umm:
  5. Just found out Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj's saroop is going to be taken to the Banqueting Suite at the EMCC in Nottingham today. http://www.emcc.co.uk/perfect3.htm A freelance Granthi will be taking Guru Ji's saroop to perform a wedding ceremony. Sikhs from around the UK are gathering in Nottingham.
  6. Blackpool! Haven't we been here before. Remember these threads, there aint even any Sikhs in Blackpool!! http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=17944&hl= http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=14323&hl= I've just rung the hotel and they have confirmed that a sikh wedding ceremony is taking place tommorrow morning on their premises, however they are concerned that they will be offending the Sikh community. I think if we apply the pressure than they will not all Guru Ji's saroop on their premises. Speak to Jo Hanly 0871 231 2839. Also ring the Gurdwara, Guru Nanak Recreational Centre Preston on 01772 798395. Judging from the last few times the beadbis have happened in Blackpool these masands are always behind it!!!!1
  7. Can Guru Gobind Singh Ji be compared with anyone else? has anyone else done what Guru Gobind Singh has done? namdharis really think their gurus can be compared and are at the same level to Guru Gobind Singh
  8. Bhai Sahib Dilbagh Singh has done a lot of sewa in Punjab to combat the beadbi of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Pavitar Saroop. Anyone involved in the Respect For Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Campaign over the last few years should make every attempt to attend the diwan in Derby. Bhai Sahib, along with the Respect For Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Campaign will be showing some videos at the diwan.
  9. LOL. They free now! They don't have to sit in a darbar sahib anymore!! Did they not realise sitting in the Darbar Sahib was part of the deal?.. Tell them to ask for a refund.
  10. Hey Golee Maro, pretty good posting...I feel like that about the levels and classes which exist out there today. Why are some people so ashamed to classify themselves as the Khalsa? It seems to be AKJ Singh or Taksali Singh or Nihang Singh. I was at a gathering once and I was asked by my auntie to recite Chaupai Sahib da path. I recited Chaupai Sahib as I knew best. After I finished this elderly man came up to me as assumed I was a taksali singh because he said I recited the taksali Chaupai Sahib. I recited the bani i knew i did not know it was part of a specific jatha. People always want to know who you took amrit from so that they can classify you. To some people it's like Amrit can only be given by "the Jatha". There's only one Jatha and it's the Khalsa Jatha.
  11. Malhi the "panthic man" owns monsoon club! What a hypocrite, what a joke! http://www.want2party.com/want2party_gallery/
  12. Self edited. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
  13. AK47 JAtha Lion, Miltant Singh you gonna have to get in there and sort this out. Southall Singhs sort the situation out, the timings right!
  14. Well done Gurdwara Karamsar for abusing the stage once again :D If it's not naamdharis it's arya samajis..... You know what Gurdwara Karamsar UK, you should feel lucky that you have Guru Maharaj's Darshan, but hey the "master of yoga" has blessed your lives now... another good opportunity for pictures and a fresh group of new supporters. Anyhow IF there was a Sri Akhand Path Sahib taking place in the Gurdwara Diwan (which does happen @ Karamsar Gurdwara) whilst the Arya Samaji was chatting on stage then you got a lot to answer for! Wah Karamsar wah! We are so proud of you! No I only bow to Guru Granth Sahib Ji... so did Swami Ji he was a guest at the gurdwara. I think you are being narrow minded and judging people just because they are different from their background. I aint going to bother replying to your pathetic responces. Was there an Sri Akhand Path Sahib or Sukhmani Sahib Path taking place when the Swami arrived? Was the microphone switched off when the Shabad was being recited in order for the Swami to speak on the stage microphone? Is the Swamis words greater than GurBani? Does every guest in a Gurdwara have to go straight on stage and talk OVER Shabad, whilst Shabad is being recited? SNAP OUT OF IT! BANI GURU GURU HAI BANI.
  15. SAB TE VADA SATGUR NANAK JIN KAR RAKHI MERI! No need for pieces of strings brothers and sisters. Kachay Dhage break easily!
  16. Although the ex East Africans make a large portion of the GNNSJ they tend to be in-active in the local Ramgharia Gurdwaras and are mainly loyal to the large Gurdwara complex in Soho Road, Birmingham and I believe MArtindale Gurdwara and one in Leeds. So unless they decentralise their activities to their local Ramgharia Gurdwaras we will unfortunatly still see the same pardaans running the Ramgharia Gurdwaras. I actually agree with you, it would be good to see the Ramgharia Gurdwaras taken over by the GNNSJ, but until the GNNSJ guys realise it's the same saroop of Guru Maharaj in Soho Road as it is in their local Gurdwara then they'll always be running down to Birmingham every weekend and not pay much attention to their local Gurdwaras!
  17. Gurdwara Karamsar UK in Ilford. Read how they feel blessed that some tv swami has walked into their Gurdwara. Seems they forget how blessed they are with Guru Maharaj's Darshan everyday... Anyway, it's all about PR....

  19. Shocking! Thanks for highlighting the incident.. SGPC (Sleeping Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee) are just chaudar de pukhay! Is the Gurdwara Sahib active again?
  20. Randip Singh I think you should be sensible about the issue.......... don't compare the Hijab to the Kara please!! You of all people should know the difference! Stop getting para about being compared to muslims!!
  21. Dhan Guru Dhan Guru Pyaray!! Well done to the Delhi Singhs!
  22. New names for GurSikhs. I thought in order to take Amrit you needed to be Katar. Therefore in theory we should all be katar panthis!
  23. If this was a Ramgharia Gurdwara then only people of tarkhan surnames would be able to vote. If you have jat in you then your vote would become void!! Elections should change to Selection. Gurdwaras should be run by the Punj Pyaray, selected based on merit.
  24. LOL. Like I have always said the TV personalities always get all stage time in the Gurdwara. The real sewaks never get any. Anyways look like the Swami Geezas a Mahapursh now, check out Sant Partap Singh, he's loving it! Great PR work Karamsar. This'll bring the numbers in. A job well done by the Karamsarias..!
