I hate pets.. they smell, make mess, and if they are dogs they bite, my dog bit me like when i was little and it pooped on my dads "very" important work papers.. my got angry and took care of it the desi way.. Desi Way: Drop it on highway... (Its common around here..lol)

Veer Ji, great news that you have decided to "become" a sikh. I know so many people (were friends but now people :D ) who went to med school and cut their hairs etc because of the same impression they had as you are in. But i also know a lot of doctors who kept their rehat and are great docs now. Medicine isn't about how you look but how good you are at what you're doing. And i feel no shame telling you, "If you want to look good my veer you are in the wrong profession, especially if you are going to be a ob/gyn. (Hope you heard of something called modeling :D )" You should not be worried about at all that you will have hairs etc, try to keep it neat and tied, wear pagh in a good way try to look proffesional. If you need help w/ anything feel free to ask, or if you need an ameritdhari doc can also make available. And i don't know where you're doing those procedures but as far as i'm concerned you should be well prepared, masked etc (BSI????). Please pm your questions..

I don't understand why people refer to any praise of Guru Sahib or History of Sikhi as 'kachi' .. if it's sung with love for Guru Sahib .. it's not kachi .. It's pure.. from the heart.. Bani from SGGS is called "GUR"Bani not "My or Your"Bani, whenever something not gurbani its (to simply put) kachi bani. Its ok as long as it refers to gurbani and not something we make up. The issue is that most of the so called kachi bani that people sing today is not kachi bani or bani at all, they fall under the category of babani kahani.
