  1. 3ho yoga stuff, well most of us can go on record as say this is innovation. So before this stuff catches on we can assert it was peoples own expressions, if they want to express love to their own god like that go for it.
  2. Imagine handing more power to badal to go from local governing power to central governing power. We have more corrupt people like badal who will take control. How can we trust in our people that much when we can't trust singhs on small things, we can't trust money or possessions these days. With the small size of punjab we would end up investing the whole population into an army to fight pakistan and india who have nuclear-atomic weapons. Plus with farmers commiting suicide it will end up increasing even more, we will make more enemyship with india who will refuse to do trade with us, other countries will rip us off (it takes a new country approx 200years to grow india+pakistan is about 60 they haven't peaked yet). Our economy will be dead, we will be in war, our social systems would collapse, our high levels of illiteracy will increase, drug+alcohol intake will increase. So from that it is not the best time to resolve internal sikh and local goverment politics by a small partition and civil war. Indira gandhi was primeminster but overall the president of india was giani zail singh he was a studied giani proper scholar of sikhi and he took on giani jarnail singh with an army with sikh generals with many sikhs inside of the army to kill sikhs. The police force used sikhs as for the hindus against sikhs they were sindhis, punjabi hindus or others with sikh background, indira gandhi descended from sewadars of guru sahibs and had her family married into sikhs after a divorce occured and she became bitter towards sikhs as did bachan from a sikh family himself indirectly. Even today sikhs are bitter towards sikhs and seek to harm each other even in gurdwaras let alone harmandar sahib, people still do bedbi today over enemyships, some burnt gurdwaras down, broken gurdwara property, stole gurdwara property, these things carry on. By creating khalistan we let many people like tytler go and become nation heros more tytlers and hitlers will be born against the enemy who will want to kill all punjabis. We struggle to run a small gurdwara without a fight or hassle. If we live up to sikhi what will stop sikhs from ruling over larger terrain such as india and further, being better rulers then anyone else has seen supporting growth in all sectors such as academic (not many upna read books), medical, institutional etc. Nations are born by it's scholars, it is hard to create a nation but even harder to keep a nation alive and run it in accordance, to look after your people (when we can't even do that today). Try get all of the youth educated first (get degrees) rather then into fights and chucked in jail. Punjab has had too much bloodshed we are looking for more. There is no easy way without bloodshed to create such a nation and we can't even find a good leader, if he was good enough he would take over india a bigger terrian. How do we also look to spread sikhi towards all of india if we create such a state. The nearest group to sikhs who we can try spread the message of sikhi to is hindus yet we are unable to spread our tradition and beliefs but create enemyship with them and between ourselves. Most the rss agents and arya samaj came from sikh backrgounds to do what they are doing and many hindus don't agree with them.
  3. Please could you upload Suraj Prakash Granth in english gyan ratanwali (bhai mani singh version of guru nanak janamsakhi) english Janamsakhi bhai bala in english all other guru nanak janamsakhis in english sheikh farid janamsakhi in english nanaksar rehat marayada in english
  4. The real sai baba shirdi wale was a follower of bhagat kabir ji he was a kabir panthi, we wouldn't even put another sikhs photo in gursaroop at that place. Why put of a patit.
  5. It's a fluke in medical science we can perlong someones life a little longer with no cure, they are dead pretty much at that point, there is not much to gain by giving thema few seconds unless you want a will in which case they are void due to the medical condition or a few words which is not always worth much. It is a matter of pana (will of god) so they are to depart.
  6. Simply politics, manipulation, power abuse so forth. Corruption occurred another reviver, reformer or founder had to come, besides if we are not going to say another tradition is absolutely wrong then we can point out there are some things which don't work but other nicer views. Stoning women to death don't work anymore. Besides the shariah law was made up after abraham by some chief heads, if you read kaballah they believed similar things we believe even reincarnation esus teachings were forgotten over time romans monapalised on that, muahmmad tried to reform an old tradition and put himself as the prophet of it which was quite lost as did the zorostrainism with hinduism. Hinduism had many offshots loosing from its' vedic, puranic and gita traditions some of the core. Sikh is the truth.
  7. You can meditate sitting, lying down or standing or any other yogi posture. Do simran while jogging or helping people out, do it when showering, if you struggle sitting down use a mala to help concentration divert from everything keep your attention away and dedicate that time. You can try be creative, go gym and meditate.
  8. Muslims believe in Moses, God presented himself to moses in the form of a burning bush (sargun) however has no form so is nirgun.
  9. Adam being mentioned there is from islamic sufi understanding not the christian one- baba adam is understood to be the first prophet of the world- so from our understanding he is the first human to attain mukhti- however he lost mukhti that is what the garden of eden was- he was jeevan mukht sent down to earth to save the rest of humanity. That shabad I think is from baba kabir sahib- bhagat kabir sahib is referring to if the greatest human being attained jeevan mukhti and lost it then who is baba kabir compared to that- it is a praise of whaeguru akal purkh. To understand there is a difference between islam then and now- todays islam has been radicalised where then it was holding concepts like tawid and wajjat al wahhud important which lead to becomming the perfect human and trying to attain fanna through sufism which was related to mokhsha of hinduism and considered to be jeevan mukhti in sikhi i.e. enlightenment. Adam was the first human to become enlightened. Islamic tradition See also: Adam (prophet of Islam) Painting from Manafi al-Hayawan (The Useful Animals), depicting Adam and Eve. From Maragheh in Iran, 1294-99. The Quran tells of آدم (ʾĀdam) in the surah al-Baqara (2):30-39, al-A'raf (7):11-25, al-Hijr (15):26-44, al-Isra (17):61-65, Ta-Ha (20):115-124, and Sad (38):71-85. The Quran says that Adam initiated the fruit eating and that both Adam and Eve (Hawa) ate the forbidden fruit, for which God later forgave them, and then sent both of them down to earth as his representatives. The Hadith (the prophetic narrations) and literature shed light on the Muslim view of the first couple. The concept of original sin does not exist in Islam, as Adam and Eve were forgiven after they repented on Earth, according to the Quran. One of the differences between the Qur'an and the book of Genesis is that it does not recount the Genesis narrative in which Eve leads Adam to transgress God's laws; they are simply both held responsible. The early Islamic commentator Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari adds a number of details to the Torah, based on hadith as well as specific Jewish traditions (so-called isra'iliyat).[11] Tabari records that when it came time to create Adam, God sent Gabriel (Jibril), then Michael (Mika'il), to fetch clay from the earth; but the earth complained, saying I take refuge in God from you, if you have come to diminish or deform me, so the angels returned empty-handed. Tabari goes on to state that God responded by sending the Angel of Death, who took clay from all regions, hence providing an explanation for the variety of appearances of the different races of mankind. According to Tabari's account, after receiving the breath of God, Adam remained a dry body for 40 days. Then gradually came to life from the head downwards. He came back to life saying "All praise be to God, the Lord of all beings." Having been created, Adam, the first man, is described as having been given domination over all the lower creatures, which he proceeds to name. As one of the people, to whom God have spoken directly. Adam is seen as a prophet in Islam. Adam and Eve from a copy of the Falnama (Book of Omens) ascribed to Ja´far al-Sadiq, ca. 1550, Safavid dynasty, Iran. At this point, Adam takes a prominent role in Islamic traditions concerning the fall of Satan, which is not recorded in the Torah, but in the Book of Enoch which is used in Oriental Orthodox churches. In these, when God announces his intention of creating Adam, some of the angels express dismay, asking why he would create a being that would do evil. Teaching Adam the names reassures the angels as to Adam's abilities, though commentators dispute which particular names were involved; various theories say they were the names of all things animate and inanimate, the names of the angels, the names of his own descendants, or the names of God. When God orders the angels to bow to Adam one of those present, Satan, a Djinn, who said "why should I bow to man, I am made of pure fire and he is made of soil", refuses due to his pride, and is summarily banished from the Heavens. Liberal movements within Islam have viewed God's commanding the angels to bow before Adam as an exaltation of humanity, and as a means of supporting human rights, others view it as an act of showing Adam that the biggest enemy of humans on earth will be their ego.[12] Eve is referred to in the Qur'an as Adam's spouse, and Islamic tradition refers to her by an etymologically similar name, حواء (Hawwāʾ) . It has been said in The Qur'an surah 4: Surah Al-Nisa' O! mankind ! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife Hawwa (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women; Thus the Quran (4:1) reveals that God created Eve from Adam. The Torah gives an etymology for woman, or rather the Hebrew equivalent (ish-shah), stating that she should be called woman since she was taken out of man (ish in Hebrew). The etymology is regarded as implausible by most Semitic linguists[who?]. The Quran blames both Adam and Eve for eating the forbidden fruit and as a punishment they were both banished from Heaven to the Earth. Muslims therefore interpret that this event does not pose a problem of women inferiority to men intrinsically. The concept of original sin doesn't exist in Islam. Adam and Eve were forgiven after they repented on Earth. A Prophetic Hadith recalls that after leaving Eden, Adam descended in India whereas Eve descended in Jeddah[citation needed]. They searched for each other, and finally found each other at the Plain of 'Arafat (near Mecca), which means recognition. Al-Qummi records the opinion that Eden was not entirely earthly, and so, having been sent to earth, Adam and Eve first arrived at mountain peaks outside Mecca; Adam on Safa, and Eve on Marwa. In this Islamic tradition, Adam remained weeping for 40 days, until he repented, at which point God rewarded him by sending down the Black Stone, and teaching him the hajj. The Qur'an also describes the two sons of Adam (named Qabil and Habil in Islamic tradition) that correspond to Cain and Abel. Shi'a Muslims believe that Adam is buried next to Ali,[13] within Imam Ali Mosque in Najaf, Iraq. Adam (Arabic: آدم, Adem) is a prominent figure in Islamic history, as he is believed by Muslims to be the first man and the first Islamic prophet.[1] He was also the husband of Eve, the first woman.[2] His story is told in the Qur'an, though his Qur'anic narrative differs from the Torah story in some aspects. Adam in the Qur'an According to the Qur'an, God created Adam, the first human, out of clay[3] and commanded the angels to bow to Adam. Satan refused out of pride and was banished from Jannah (Heaven).[4][5] In Heaven, Satan lured Adam and Eve into disobeying God by tasting from the forbidden tree. God, as a punishment, sends Adam and Eve to earth,[6][7] arriving first at mountain peaks outside Mecca; Adam on Safa, and Eve on Marwa. In this account, Adam repented for 40 days, at which point God forgave him,[2] rewarded him by sending down the Black Stone and teaching him the hajj. The Qur'an also describes the two sons of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel.[8][9] He is first Islamic prophet and predecessor of Muhammad ( Family tree at right). [edit] Adam in Hadith Abi Musa al Sha'arai narrated that Muhammad said: "Allah created Adam from a handful of dust taken from different lands, so the children of Adam have been created according to the composition of the land. Therefore from mankind we have white, red, black and yellow ones; we have good and evil, ease and sorrow, and what comes in between them."[10] Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad said: "Allah created Adam from dust after He mixed the clay and left him for some time until it became sticky mud, after which Allah shaped him. After that Allah left him till it became like potter's clay. Iblis used to go past him saying 'You have been created for a great purpose.' After that Allah breathed His spirit into him. The first thing into which the spirit passed was his eye and then his nose. He sneezed. Allah said: "May your Lord have mercy upon you, O Adam! Go to those angels and see what they would say.' So Adam went and greeted them. they replied saying: "Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah." Allah said: "O Adam! This is your greeting and that of your offspring."[10] What religion(s) did Adam, Eve, Cain and Able belong to if Judaism didnt start till Abraham? According to the Torah, they simply "knew" G-d. G-d revealed Himself to them and there was no need to name it a 'religion'. They simply knew that He had created the universe. Of course, this was way at the beginning of humanity before G-d chose to appear less visible to humanity. Abraham wasn't 'Jewish' per say. He was simply the first to spread faithfulness toward one G-d. It has been suggested, in fact, that in the times of Moses nobody recognized G-d as the only G-d in existence. Rather, they may have understood Hashem to be their one G-d. Over time, our current concept of Judaism- where the exists only One G-d- emerged. If this is the case, that is not to say, however, that Judaism was fabricated. Rather, G-d revealed Himself to our people in the form that we could understand, knowing that over time we would learn to see him as One. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101119033833AAsdLiA
  10. Marry into the royal family or an arab royal family convert them like other people do- bring the whole country into that religion- like mughals did muslim tactic- only thing is we would not be any better then them khalsa is better then that. Khalsa looks at other women as there daughter, mother or sister-- cheryl cole is your sister.
  11. WJKK WJKFji When was the last time you smilled in a gurdwara, I notice that alot of people give dirty looks and so many people are angry- I feel peace and happy from bani, simran and sewa sometimes I can't stop smilling- why is it others do not smile maybe I need to start smilling more in gurdwaras it is a sachkhand - do you try to smile in a gurughar to make someone else feel warmth and happiness or anand. SMILE - i shot the sheriff but i did not shoot the deputy - a smile WJKK WJKFji
  12. I really do not understand why the police have not raided these madrassas they have proof they teach hatred against jews, christians and also teach terrorism having links with these organisations that do things against the country.
  13. Big differences sikhs have with islam is, sikhs respect other religions and are very tolerant also sikhs disagree with this shariah law. No human deserves those inhumane punishments. There are muslims who are waking up today look allover arabia they overthrowing the kings for secularism even pakistan is secular shariah law is not wanted by normal people only the sheikhs in dubai want it and pay people off to go and screw up india they even fund bollywood own the actors to manipulate these people. These satanic sheikhs even want nuclear war- it will be soon dubai will be overthrown there is madness there. The bramins are also satanic but many hindus stopped listening some are still stuck. look respect all religions but if you want to marry out, take amrit and get the other to take amrit become proper sikhs.
  14. The biggest issue we as a community face is sikhs marrying into muslims thing is that is just a trick or form of manipulation they have been taught by some madrassas to convert sikhs mainly- many muslims hold a grudge still after 1947 and mess about with people like that- I know of peoples children out of these marriages they become extreme muslims or end up being whores and sluts, if not the victim is not turned into one or a drug addict or prostitue. Even in guru gobind singh time this was done and there are sau sakhis on this trickery and deciet. Guru Gobind Singh forbid sikhs to go after muslim women because the khalsa is higher then that and should not lower itself to others levels. There a story of a sikh from sau sakhi of guru gobind singh that was forcefully circumcised and even raped by a muslim women he came back to guru gobind singh asked for forgiveness only asked if he enjoyed it and he did not- there stories even like sikhs being forced to eat halal meat and forced to pray and even have there beards cut all sorts of punishments. Sikh women were also in those time kidnapped forcefully raped and converted and even in 1947. In the times of guru gobind singh sikhs would try free those women and other women slaves at 12 oclock at night barah waja. This women capture is now done with manipulation and most sikhs do not care in todays age. For those who do they end up inciting hatred and religious violence which is not the way of the khalsa - khalsa has satkar (respect) of other faiths- this was shown during khalsa raj some people wanted to go destroy mosques which were built and converted from hindu temples and retailate but sarkar khalsa did allow it- however the muslim priests in that time were closely watched and controlled- the call for prayer was banned and muslims were put into control during maharaja ranjit singhs time as muslims were notirous for inciting hatred and doing underhanded things. There are muslim schools which teach boys to date rape, blackmail and convert muslim girls but whenever sikhs talk about it muslims say we are making up stuff and inciting hatred so people stop and the police can not do anything because there is no law specifically against converting people and those victims of rape and blackmail are scared and vulnerable to come forward in courts for evidence so people get away with it and carry on. It may be one girl or even guy now, but tommorow it could be your sister or daughter or mother. It is up to us alot to actually have the goverment shut down these schools and I am suprised with all the violence and gang fights sikhs get involved in no one has targetted these schools or teachers instead sikhs go after sikhs or random innocent people it is totally messed up. I personally advice a sikh to marry a sikh do not mess your life up or your families or children to come. We can also have newer laws created for better protection of people from such things.
  15. In the past some sikhs would marry into hindus without a problem but in recent times there has been more fundamentalising faiths especially after 1947 which resulted from divide and conquer that the british did. Muslims would never marry a kaffir. If you are not a really religious sikh who does not practice and does not really want to but is ready to marry x,y and z, then stay away from marrying pakistani and afghanistan muslims- they will come after you with there honour killings or convert you or make your life a living hell, if your that brave be my guest watch the results yourself- most will sleep around, hindus, sikhs and muslims do sleep around with each other but they do not tell people- that's just how things like mtv get to people, it only ruins there future in terms of a family life and real love in family because they will only know lust and there kids will do the same and they will loose there kids. Alebenian muslims (maybe turkish and iranians) probably do not care but you can really marry out. But it will ruin your own religion and your kids. Also it will be much worse on your spouse then you whatever people may end up doing, people like hindus and sikhs who do end up in relationships with them have to go through hell it is not worth it, otherwise hindus, christians, atheiests, agnostics buddhist pretty much would not care if you married them but you would not be able to force your beliefs on them so you may loose your religion in marrying out. The Akal takht past a formalised rehat saying sikh can only marry a sikh as in the past sikhs were only properly amrithdharis and they would marry amritdharis anyone else who had satkar for sikhi and guru nanak from another dharam islam or hinduism they would still marry into there own tribes and castes etc. Things have changed now, a sikh should only marry a sikh considering how small of a population we are and practices we have. The whole point of marrying in sikhi is to attain god, bhai gurdas ji says a women is the door to salvation, a sikh women is generally loyal, and can be a true mother. Even though alot of sikh girls have gone mad, become sluts or converting or doing drugs, alot are falling into negative categories but it is the same for guys as well. That is if we want to blame is the media, families, peer pressure, crap parchar (and parcharaks), upna organising raves and going there in big numbers to have the rest follow like sheep, plus lots of money and responsibility, old people in gurdwaras kicking kids out and making gurdwaras a bad time for kids, and the downfall of family values in the west on the whole- like not living with parents-in the uk on avg. a kid by the age of 16 sleeps with 3 people- sikhs tend to do alot of stuff and hide it etc.
  16. How about moving parcharak in the UK into English as well as distributing english leaflets everywhere
  17. We need khalsa raj ontop of India, this means everyone regardless of religion working together, freedom of religion, and helping each other. This was a disgraceful act and something all Indians should stand against the violation another religion.
  18. It is good to hear about sikh council uk. Just really new and no one actually advertises it. Perhaps they could construct a dharmikstan maybe in central london with guru maharaj prakash aswell as forming one rehat for the uk. Additionally this could be recreated in other european countries. Akal takht is under too much badal and central goverment influence to make that separate from badal would take alot as well shifting the control out of the corrupt goverment members of india and having those involved in 1984 put in jail.

  20. VJKK VJKFji Guru Pyare satsangat ji, Das would like to raise up to the sangat with pyare and satkar the idea of the creation of a panel within each local region where the presidents of each commitee meet perhaps each month. This idea can be also put on to other sikh mediums such as channels and please do tell all your friends about it and how it can happen and how we can all work together for this. To begin with das would like to propose that an intermeeting between i.e. Gurdwaras of (i) London may begin or (ii) Birmigham. In this case to start of small, we launch such idea to the sikh channels which may have sangat response or even sangat response to how such a commitee may be structured, be it local region. With every upcomming issue amongst sikhs kiprans, conversions, etc. Additionally with greater issues amongst gurdwaras, which may be resolved through networking events maybe started off with all london gurdwara commitee members. Which is approx. 33+ Gurdwaras which would be feasible to meet in a select venue of choice given who chairs such meetings. There are supposedly 360 gurdwaras in the uk. To allow for such democracy and unity sikhs have been lacking for while to come into resolution for wider gurdwara help as we are a very small minority we must realise, united we stand divide we fall. Many people want to keep us divided, we are divided and conquered by the britsh now the ideological attacks on sikhs is growing in various natures. 21. VJKK VJKfji Singh sahib can you start up some form of way of funding giani, raagi, parcharaks. So that the people comming from this country have the best facility of preaching in this country at the moment most parcharaks who come here are illiterate. In terms of having preaching done in English. Guru Gobind Singh had poets in his darbar who did poetry in many languages maharaj spoke many languages and encourged it. Baba Deep singh did translation of saroops into arabic had them sent to Iraq and so many languages were used in Guru jis time effectively to do parchar. At the moment Sikhi's parcharak in Gurdwaras in the Uk is failing so many people leave sikhi becomming sharabi/hoes/kebabi/patit/hedonists or end up converting to another religion Islam/Christinaity/Hinduism or are stuck in the middle just trying to be somewhat Sikh. The gurdwaras are in-effective and have too many fights.. where gianis end up commiting pedophila, or making bacon in langar halls, or muslim guys come into gurdwaras trying to convert sikh girls, or someone store alcohol in fridges or punjabi classes get closed, or someone does not go to a gurdwara due to caste and someone tells them off or ask caste in a gurdwara which is out of order. Or we get these random jathas and all which go against the whole universilitic message of Guru nanak. These issues can fix when sikh brother hood is effective and there at the moment it is all disfunctional we need to go to other Gurdwaras as well. So can we somehow actually set up a real fund not one which some third party or guy asking it robs parts or most of the money and pockets it as most people do in Sikhi. Perhaps maybe from khalsa aid or something else that we can fund parcharaks with full knowledge of english and do parchar in the uk in english and stop having kids chased out of gurdwaras because old crampy people think they are noisey i.e. having them run away with a muslim boyfriend/ or etc. or with guys going into drugs and being promiscious in clubs because they keep getting kicked out of gurdwaras.
