Stop burning Ravan every year and causing air pollution then. He has been dead for 7000 years now, maaf kar deyo fer hun. Times, maps, languages, dressing styles, hair styles, weather patterns, all have changed. Move on and stop living 7000 years in the past. Stop crying about Ram Mandir which was demolished 400 years ago. The Mughals are dead and gone. Their rule has been over for a very long time. Forget it and move on, stop agitating for it. Can you? Stop telling your kids about the trains that came with butchered corpses from Pakistan in 1947, forget it, move on, and stop making movies on it. Will you? You choose NOT to forget things that had a closure and are now buried under the mists of time, yet you expect Sikhs to forget things they saw not too long ago and is brutally stabbed in our memory as a wound that cannot be healed.

Let me tell you a little secret about Sikhi. People crack jokes on us that we are not smart. Fact is, unless you don't tell your mind to shut up, you can't be a Sikh. As long as you listen to your mind "man I won't get girls", "man how will I get a job!", you will continue to complain. The day you thrash your mind to shut up, and tell it "look, enough now! just shut up because I am not listening to you any more, I am going to be on the outside what I am on the inside", that is the day you will make it. Trust me, you have to be crazily in love with Dasmesh Pita to even contemplate keeping kesh, let alone keeping Sikhi saroop. The keyword here is "crazy". So ask yourself, "are you crazy enough yet?" The path of true love is far from easy. One poet calls it as a river of fire in which one has to drown in order to swim across. And what is even more terrifying is that you go into it all alone. The only consolation you have is that the one you truly love is with you at any cost. Other than that, you may very well expect the entire world to turn against you. That is the real test of true love. There is just one road in one direction without any tracks. You give, you surrender, you give up, you offer, you submit, you lay down, and you do all this without expecting anything in return! You dont see your own loss or gain, but just do whatever it takes for the one you love. A tigress' milk cannot be stored in any random vessel, but only in one made of pure gold. Gold cannot be made pure unless it has passed through fire. The secret is craziness, the challenge is "how crazy are you?", or rather "how crazily in love are you with Dasmesh Pita that you are desperate to keep His saroop and hold it high with dignity?"

This is Guru Sahib's own saroop. Only those who are fortunate get to keep it, and only those who are blessed by Him stand upto the highest mandatory standards of integrity to maintain the dignity of this saroop at all times. Bijla Singh Another Miracle at Harmandar Sahib August 13, 2014 11:28 AM This is a recent miracle that occurred at Harmandar Sahib about a month ago. An eye witness personally told me this account. There were about 4 guys in their early 20s who made a bet that whoever was able to walk through the womens bathing place would get 200,000 rupees. The condition was that he must enter through one door and exit through the other. One guy touted himself to be brave enough to do it. This guy dressed himself as a woman, put makeup on and went to the holy place with other three guys who remained in their normal attire. They picked the bathing place near the Dukh Bhanjani tree and the guy dressed as a woman went to the entry gate. He covered most of his face with a chunni and proceeded to walk in while his three companions stood outside and watched him go in. The woman guard at the door could not suspect that the person walking in was really a guy. But when she saw the three guys standing outside, she suspected something was wrong. She had initially thought that the guy dressed as a woman was a relative of the 3 guys standing outside but when these 3 guys walked to the exit door and she saw the guy inside simply walking through the bathing place and rushing towards the exit, she apprehended him and grabbed him. She said to him, you are not a woman, what are you doing here? The guy felt very scared and fearing that he will get a good beating, he said, Forgive me mata ji, I am blind. As soon as he said these words, he instantly became blind. He started screaming that he could not see anything. He begged for forgiveness but of no avail. His 3 companions ran away and he confessed the whole story. Then few people from sangat asked him where he lived and he was taken home by a bus. His family tried to get him treated but it was all fruitless. He could not get his eyesight back and is still a blind person. Go and ask that question to those families who saw, suffered and survived November 1984. Go to any Indian news website that publishes news about Sikhs and see the comments there by your fellow Indian brothers, and sometimes sisters and "sisterly" brothers also. Watch this then We are least concerned about Congress, RSS, BJP or whatever their motives are. Just don't come in our way, is that clear?

That is an opinion many people have and thats ok. But keeping in mind his track record I would think 100 times before "giving him a chance". You guys might hate me for saying this, but I'll still say it. Every now and then we have someone or the other saying that Nehru cheated the Sikhs, then they name some other politician who cheated the Sikhs, and then another, and then another. We just keep naming one person after the other who we claim "cheated the Sikhs". Sorry for being honest, but do you guys realize what it makes us look like? If we are being cheated repeatedly for 67 years, then its not something wrong with those who wish to destroy us (they are doing their job quite well), its only us to blame. And having said that, I do not wish to continue to be cheated and so will not take another risk by putting my trust in someone like Modi. Bhul chuk maaf

Days after a Sikh man was hit and dragged by a truck in New York following an argument between him and the driver who allegedly hurled racist slur at him on August 5, another Sikh man and his mother were attacked in the city on August 7 by a group of teenagers in an apparent hate crime, sparking an outrage among the community members. "The Centre should strongly take up the matter with US government in the larger interest of the Sikhs living in the country," Makkar said. "Such attacks have happened in the past as well. According to media reports, in this recent attack on the mother-son duo in New York, the attackers had used derogatory language against the man's mother and made fun of her hair, which needs strong condemnation," he said. Makkar said the US government should curb such attacks on innocent Sikhs with an iron fist and severely punish those found guilty.

Its Sikhs for Justice who started the campaign requesting President Obama to NOT allow Narendra Modi into the US since he has Muslim blood on his hands. I haven't come across a single Islamic organization in US doing that, please let me know as I might be uninformed.
