  1. oh dear, most voters religious nutjobs, dear me, then where the protests when PM Manmohan Singh became PM for the second time, surely if most where religious nutjobs they would have protested No, dont agree, being on the secular democratic path, will result in more decentralisation, being on the path is the most important point, like UK, USA etc The people voted in those elections and Congress got the majority vote, so no partition and keep India as is as per wishes of majority except partition did happen, and resultant knock on effects, where as previously people were living together as fellwo human beings, regardless of faith. Dont agree, it was secualr warmth of general British popualtion, overall, that allowed Black soldiers to strive more for their rights as they did not have to sit at back of buses in UK, as UK was ahead of USA in secular humane path, here in UK, sitiaution is better than in our parents time. slightest hint is your opinion, but when this occurs it is not slightest, when you are clear in your statement, if not your intention then why state it, as thats what religious far right say
  2. Well, your opinion, India is a secular democracy, British Mughals were empires, so complete difference. Agree that centralised rule can create more problems, and that a USA model of more decentralised would be better, but imo if India were to split, it would have done so by now, anyway, future will sort out whatever outcome. Oh dear, Congress party got the most votes in the elections held in 1940s prepartition, and thats a fact, and they did not want the great evil of partition, and thats a fact, only surerender of the apostle of pacifism that caused the horrific partition Well, secualr pathway is the road taken, and it is this pathway that will lead to more justness in india for the future, better to be on this road, even though still journey to reach UK standard, just as UK was on this pathway, and still is. oh i will state your bigotry, now can u show where i have done this myslef, typical poo poo
  3. This sacrifice is an example to humanity, God bless soul of the Gurujis!
  4. oh dear, response to a statement of India being a nation previously, of course past is past, but does not mean one does not remember your opinion, but majority 1947 did not vote evil partition, so as per wishes of majority India exists, except the partition, which was the abject surrender of the apostles of pacifism to the fascist 2 nation theory. India is secular as per constitution, though it is not, as yet, to the standard of the UK, but it is on the right path, which is the importan point, as UK took time as well to get to where it is. ahh yes the usual trot a trot of bigotry, pah
  5. again to the vast majority in India he is a Sikh, so where were the protests against a Sikh being leader of the nation where, surely there would have been protests, infact he was voted in again, ps idol worship is not in sanatan dharma really either:
  6. Lets be clear many people condemn India government human righst abuses. PM Singh, may not be a Sikh to you, but to the vast majority of India he is, so where were the protests against Sikh being a PM where? Hindus, ahh the communal game, not all Hindus, or all anyone else think the same do they, or there would only be one party, one language, one culture, but there is not, there are many cultures languages, and parties, and all welcome. India central governement needs to bring justice to guilty culprits agreed, just as Kashmir Pandit minority has been ethnically cleansed from Kashmir valley whilst they reside in camps, so Indian governemtn has not helped here as well, so yes do agree here
  7. WHo is "YOU" who? Next who is threatening extermination, who, and how will this happen How was PM Manmohan Singh elected, where were the protests against a Sikh becoming PM where?? Understand each individual human being is an individual with own thoughts and own individualism, communalism is path of darkside where individuals like to group people and say look them they want to destroy us, grouping all people-bigotry nothing more nothing else. Many non Sikhs faith people have great respect for Sikhism and Gurujis, and have no interest in destroying or exterminating anyone. Agree there are just points in the Anandpur resolution, India at this stage has not reached path of proper secularism as yet, the journey is still ongoing.
  8. edicts of King Asoka: http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~malaiya/ashoka.html
  9. Well everywhere there were empires, then nations became. Well India is a nation in political sense since 1947, even though the will of the majority was not abided as majority did not want evil partition, and wanted to live as is as fellow human beings, but thats done, and hardly unlikely will it be reversed, so India is left as per wishes of majority people, its not perfect but at least its on secular path were all faiths and varying cultures, languages exist, just as we have many different cultures in USA, UK. IMO India will never partition again, if it were it would have happened by now, but everyone has there own opinion fair enough.
  10. Not really true let us see history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edicts_of_Ashoka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurya_Empire
  11. Again is this their mission statement?, as English is the unofficial official langauge of India, and each state has their own language. There is no hindustan, individual groups can say what they like, Indian constitution does not say Hindustan, King Asoka over 2000 years ago over what India prepartition did not say Hindustan, realise some groups say this, but this India is secular, realise it most definately is not perfect or not up to UK standard as yet, but on the right path, which is important, Congress is not hindustan. You can talk aboput Khalistan, not bothered, ground reality India will never partition again, but u of course can try.....
  12. what is this hindutva ideology which u feel is very harmful, can u state their mission statement which leads u to believe they will be very bad?
  13. Hmm, firstly religious disagree with this education minister, next lets look at your statement above, no doubt some dont give a damn, but then some do and know full well the truth of sanatan dharma, and basically all faiths should be respected, India is a secular nation, tinpot ministers cannot turn this to a religious nation, King Asoka over 2000 years ago laid down just and humane edicts for all people. Pathway of a secular democracy, though not as good as we have here in the UK, is the right path and India will take time to get to a higher standard. hmm really wonder how this will happen, where wil they get their support base, majority of people have no interest in dealing with anyone, muslim faith christian faith sikh faith, hindu faith and other faiths- brothers and sisters of humanity have common cause for the majority to just live as fellow human beings, and to take care of the dark side of communal elements whose soel goal is to stir this against that. No doubt Hindu far right is growing, but their support base can never be above a few percent just like BNP here.
  14. Ahh now you playing communalism, as individuals do not represent the whole, every group has criminals and bigots. As regards justice for the sikh genocide in delhi many Hindu faith people also want justice for our fellow innocent human beings, we do not care the faith of those butchers in delhi 84 we condemn them regardless of faith, just as we do those in punjab regardless of faith. On this specific point those groups like RSS will never succeed, magnimity of the Sikh Gurujis and their sacrifice will never be forgotten, the Sikh faith will always continue as a separate entity, we too will deal with this situation through education as Hindu faith recognises many different paths to God, each valid and equal, not for us to judge. Do not forget PM Manmohan Singh was voted in as PM, now realise a number do not regard him as a 'SIKH' but for vast majority in India he is a Sikh, and for the outside world, where were the protests against him being PM because he is a Sikh, where were the protests against Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni being Captain of India, and so on
  15. A very small minrority may well exist, does that mean no comment should be made in response to this clear bigotry towards hindus and in particualr hindu punjabis! Know full well Sikh Dharma does not support such actions, talking about individuals who stir up against Hindus, whoch does exist also!!
  16. So we see anti hindu bigotry here, so chappie who started this thread can you explain why some so called hindu panjabis have pictures of Guru Nanakji, Guru Tegh Bahdhurji and Guru Gobind singhji in their homes if they were anti sikh, well???? Seems the anti hindu disease is alive and well in a number, yes those damn hindus kick them out of punjab, pull them of buses 30 hindus to a sikh, typical bile of the bigots, follower of dark lord who use hate as a passion to inspire folloowers make the hindu the bogeyman for all ills, and focus hate and your path to the dark side is complete-PAH
  17. Thackeray should then be first in queue. Sucide bombers as the Japanese did in WW2 for the defence of their nation is one thing, killing innocent people is another. No doubt the Hindu people must martial themselves more so, they must not rely on Ghandhis pacifism, or on anybody else. They have forgotten the shastar Vidya, and must invoke it back. Take examples of Guru Gobind Singhji, and Shivaji. Let us also not forget in Shivajis army 1/3 were of the muslim faith who fought Aurangzeb as well. They are nutters in all communities stirring up communal poison, claiming differences like we saw during partition. The dark side is an easy path to follow as it requires less thinking.
