  1. i don't understand why amazing Keertaniyea like Bhai Niranjan Singh don't have these costs and freely allow keertan to be uploaded on the net? Please do not spread lies. Bhai Niranjan Singh charges more than most. We had a charity program where Bhai Sahib ji was coming. His organiser asked us for money - to which we said okay. He suggested £101 however he said it was up to us. When he did come, we could only manage £51 (please note, this was a CHARITY event) and when we went to give it, he wanted to know where his other £50 was! Anyway, Chardi Kalaa are exactly what it says on the tin... chardi kalaa They were great and i personally, cant wait until they come back. I hope this thread will stay positive as these Singhs inspired a lot of people when they were over.
  2. I spoke to someone earlier on today and they can confirm this isnt organised by Kirtan Seva UK or Charanpreet Singh which is a shame because i agree with United1985 that the guys do some great seva. They done a fantastic job organising Atam Ras Kirtan Darbaar in the past and the Chardi Kala jatha last month.
  3. Well it ain't your Sanathan/Hindu Khanda is it lol hahaha, I wouldn't be so sure about that, even this new khanda has some sort of origin which you might not like well the white folk turned our panth into a faith/religion... I have to disagree with the symbolism view. Khalsa fauj HAS to be symbolic (if you get my gist?) Not really. Khalsa fauj should not aim to be symbolic. Khalsa fauj is not to give "dekhaavaa". Every part of our being has a purpose - from Bana to Bani, there is a purpose. Guru Jee never gave us symbols! White folk say that our hair is a symbol of our religion... that our Kakaar are symbols of our faith. But we know different (i hope). Khalsa fauj doesnt HAVE to be anything apart from being what it says on the tin - KHALSA FAUJ. Be pure. Be brave.
  4. Sikhs dont believe in symbolism or idol worship. If there was "Ik Oankaar" enscribed on these products, then we would have an issue as it is Gurbani. Gurbani cannot be counted for as a symbol. The Khanda has become a symbol of Sikhism because that is what the white folk turned our faith into.
  5. Will there be meetings open to sangat like last year where they went to a school or college hall?
