Gurufateh, Yesterday a person who believess that sikhs are hindus said to me in his argument that both Guru Nanak and Guru gobind Singh Ji had Kundli's made so they were hindu's. :gg: Can anybody help me on this as i do not have any knowledge on this subject but want to be able to respond to him and shut his face up. Another argument he said was that Guru Gobind Singh Ji worshiped Durga which i was able to put him right on. Thanks in advance :rolleyes:

I am saddened to hear about this incident. i did not witness it as I arrived with my family later on that evening. How does AKJ decide which Gurdwaras to hold their Rhensbhai programs. Are these always held in same places each year?

Gur Fateh, Does any body have any details about a kirtan program I have heard about in Manchester on 13 Dec 08. Among the Kitani line up is Bhai Manpreet Singh Khanpuri who was involved in an accident in India recently. Guru Fateh to all. As I understand it when Guru Gobind Singh was attached by the two Patans, the late emperor Arungzehbs son, Bhadurshah (?) sent his top physcian to treat the Guru. He is depicted as being Western White possibly English or European, on a picture that I have seen. Does anybody know what his name was. there can't be many White doctors in India in that century. I think that he must have made medical notes at the time, and maybe with a bit of research if they still exist they may be read. Any help on this topic would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Guru Fateh, Has anybody got ant info about a racial assult which took place recently in a Smethwick school. This weekend a Sergent police office came to Gurdwara in Smethwick to talk to sangat. He said six musilum boys had been permantely excluded since the incident and there would be an increased police presence at the school. I heard the above on the radio station relayed from the Gurdwara. Does anybody know any more details?
