  1. well said Bhaji ^^ The idea of Sikhicamps is to be flexible. Teaching Sikhi and at the same time not being too strict. It's a hard thing to do juggle. But having 'fun' for most of the time at camp is no way to learn anything useful. We will take away memories from these camps....do you want to take away '11:30-1:30pm Bowling & Pool Activity' or do you actually want to learn about 'Sikhi'. It's like everyone you talk to in life just wants to talk about fantasy, nothing is related to gurmat.....then we thank god for 'sikhicamps' but what use is these camps when you hardly see 'sikhi' parchaar. Make use of the camps....try to learn as much as you can.
  2. Talk to them humbly. Kindly show them where the 'Ramaals' are......

    Caste

Parents only want to best for you. They want you to be in a league of theirs, not in another. That's where problems tend to arise. The thing with castes is it differentiates sangat into sections of work. Punjabi parents tend to be pleased with a person from the same work. Now do you even know what a 'dharkhan' is, have you ever looked after your 'zameen' back in punjab? have you ever learnt what a jatt does all day? If you are living a totally different life style in USA, then couldn't you support a family there? The thing with western youth society is they are mainly adapted to western cultures/rituals. In a way you may find some of your parents wishes quite hard to take..... Going against parents wishes whilst you are a kid, you can learn from. Going against your parents wishes when you hit the adult age, may get them and you scared for the rest of your life. Best thing to do is a beanti to maharaaj to looking for a bride. Try to do a ardaas.... vjkk vjkf

  9. kphull, I see. You want to play the slow game. Fine. Rituals are acts where one praises anything. This is the way daas see Rituals. Now for a more deep understanding........please visit: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Ritualistic Now that is out the way, you still haven't answered any of my previous question. I take the juice has been squeezed out the oranges.
  10. they bring youth together to empower them and try solving community problems, why you uneasy You tell others 'not to judge' when clearly your making countless remarks about others? then you blame others for not being 'Gursikhs'.......unless you have evidence.......put it all on the table.....if you cannot.....then I will spot you waving the white handkerchief.
  11. So you want another reason *evil laugh*.........just did a google......read the whole page and then tell me how many reasons you spotted....... http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Kirpan Not to mention this is only one link, I could be throwing a hell of alot more pages to satisfy your need for reasons. Define Ritualistic........please do....If you cannot....I will myself. Interesting. Was this (in bold) supposed to be a question? or a statement? If you have answered any of the questions above, please justify your reason. Let alone the other points you made......this point of yours has prompted me to question you.....this point of yours alone has got me thinking.....hmmmmm.
  12. umm....wasn't there a campaign for khalistan in London 'not so long ago'?........

    Nindya

Do not confuse nindiya with 'truth'. Talking bad behind someones back is one bad thing, talking the 'truth' behind someones back is another. If your school teacher told your parents that you was caught (lets say) smoking..... would you say the teacher is doing nindiya? (It's an example, nothing personal) Have you ever watched/experienced political debates, they talk about so many people, about so many people, behind so many peoples back......isuues arise, they deal with it formally. Linking this with nindiya is kind of similar. Many talk bad/rubbish about people....we forget we are the 'lowest of the low'....we forget we are the 'pakhandi'....how can we ever call another bad, when we 'ourselfs' are not even close to good? Issues relating to 'ghandi' was about justice, nothing to do with nindiya about her or any of her trained people, it's just truth..... some people can handle it, some cannot. Then you want 'our generation' to know about bluestar. Could they handle seeing the shaeed.....so much inequality...etc. Learn from mistakes, not repeat them. bhul chuk maaf jeeo
  14. Are you going to stop them, Singhstah? Stop whom? And may Almighty Vaheguru do what ever he has to do with you too. Good luck my friend.
  15. Be that as it may, I've still got more to say. Lets see if you are really done, you can't even back you initial statements and your done already. I had questions, you have not answered them since....I will ask more from your new post...... Lets ditch the metaphors a while, what trump card are you talking about?..... Well 'ghandi' wasn't the only anti-sikh who has been killed in the past.......so your point has no justification.
  16. Killing an old, unarmed woman in cold blood is justice? They took an oath to protect her! It just made things worse!! I feel you are out of line by bringing Guru Gobind Singh into this affair. You must have not understood what I wrote earlier or you need your eyes checked because I was NOT giving you kind any words in my earlier post. I would like to make that very clear, so save your reverse pyschology mumbo jumbo for another sucker. Firstly, you have no idea what justice means..... I mean do I need to pull out a dictionary..... Secondly, elaborate the part in 'orange'.....
  17. Like above ^^ has mentioned.......I agree with Just that part got me puzzled.....I'm not sure what things you are talking about?......I'll be waiting for your reply/view.
  18. tirath tap deiya dut dan, jai ki pavai til ka man. sunia munia mun kita bhao auntar gati tirath mul nao.
  19. I appreciate the way you display facts, but could you just explain why you have chose this tuk....maybe explaining it in 'english' and maybe 'without capitals', thanks...... Vaheguru jeeooo
  20. I too agree. Rather learn from the mistakes.....
  21. It was a great approach from the all the youths. Some interesting points made about how youths tend to get into sikhi. Keep theses shows up!
