  2. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Our nation begged Guru Sahib to send us a hero who would march where we couldn’t even breath. Akaal Purakh sent us a Sarbloh Singh - Dhan Dhan Amar Shaheed Bhai Baljinder Singh Raju. May Guru Sahib bless us with the dust under the feet of such Gurmukhs. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

  4. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Veer BhagatBalmik please see below. Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji da Jaap – Sant Gurbachan Singh Bhinranwale When Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji was a child his mother, father and thaiyaji (with the Sangat’s blessings and teachings of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj) would get up at amritwela and jaap Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji. Santji who was only a few years old witnessed this and developed a love for Guru Sahib’s Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji. In this way before beginning his nitnem Santji would do at least 1-2 malas of Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji every day. In addition to this Santji would recite Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji wherever he went. Before coming into the company of Brahmgyani Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji Bhindranwale, Santji undertook a yatra to Sachkhand Sri Anandpur Sahib Ji and Sachkhand Sri Kiratpur Sahib Ji . On the way back Santji stopped at Sachkhand Sri Chamkaur Sahib Ji. Here Santji stopped for 40 days and at amritwela (1 am) would get up and go and stand in the water in Sri Baoli Sahib and recite 33 malas of Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji everyday. Before the sangat came to the Gurudwara Sahib Santji would finish his daily niyaam. In this way over 40 days Santji completed savalakh (125,000) Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji Jaaps. When Santji came into the holy company of Brahmgyani Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji Bhindranwale he would get up at 1 am. After doing ishnaan Santji would do some malas of Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji and Sri Gurmantar Sahib Ji everyday. In this way over 3 and a half years Santji completed 36 lakh (3.6 million) Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji Jaaps. The Singhs who were in the jatha of Brahmgyani Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji Bhindranwale had to do a minimum of 25 hazaar (25,000) Sri Gurmantar Sahib Ji Jaaps or 33 Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji Jaaps or 5 Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji Paats or Panj Granthi in addition to their daily nitnem. As the jatha would travel around Punjab and India sometimes they would stop for 40 days and begin Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Ji Jaaps comprising of 33 malas per day. This Jaap would be done in the Gurudwara Sahib’s ‘gallery’ in the hazoori of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. 6. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh The following sakhi is dedicated to Pyaare Veer Prabhjot Singh Ji and the other Gursikhs taking part in the Two Million Sri Mool Mantar Sahib Jaaps - One time Baba Raam Kishan Ji Sevapanthi was sat on his knees at the charankamal of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj with chenna (little bells) in his hands and tears in his eyes uttering, “Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji”. Babaji had been doing this for the whole day. Finally towards the end of the day at about 23:30hrs some Sikhs came to where Babaji was sat and said, “What are you doing? Don’t you realise that it’s time for Sukhaasan?” Babaji looked up at the sangat and humbly said, “Please forgive me, I was being greedy and only thinking of my Sukh”. As soon as Babaji said this he bowed before Guru Sahib and began to recite Sri Sohila Sahib Ji before taking Maharaj to Sachkhand. As he was doing this Babaji began to cry and utter “Nahi Choro”. Once Maharaj was placed on Sri Manji Sahib Babaji bowed before Guru Sahib and went to sleep on the floor continuing to say “Nahi Choro” again and again under his breath. After about 30 minutes Babaji woke up and performed the Prakash of Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. After being blessed with Guru Sahib’s hukamnama Babaji went and again sat at the charankamal of Guru Sahib and began to utter “Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji” whilst playing the chenna (little bells). In the morning some other sangat came to Babaji and said you keep uttering Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, can you really see Guru Nanak Dev Ji? Babaji smiled and simply looked toward Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, the only true light in this very dark world. Loose translation from katha based on Sant Ghatta. Please share what you think we can learn from the above sakhi sangatji. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  7. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh The following story is dedicated to all the posters in this topic who have posted here but not in the Sri Mool Mantar Jaap thread. One day Professor Harbans Singh Ji decided to visit Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji. After Professor Harbans Singh Ji had paid his respects to Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj he went and began to speak to Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji. He looked at Sant Ji and noticed a glow radiating from Sant Ji’s entire body. He then said, “O saint of saints how can we become like you?” Sant Ji smiled and said, “All of you are like me. You all have two hands, two legs, and a face. All of us are the same dear Gursikh.” Professor Harbans Singh Ji thought for a moment and then said, “Yes Sant Ji we are all similar physically but please be merciful and tell us how to attain a spiritual status like yours which is unmatched throughout this world.” “Dear Gursikh, get up early in the morning and take a bath. Then repeat the holy words of Akaal Purakh”, Sant Ji replied. Professor Harbans Singh Ji listened to Sant Ji’s answer and then said, “But Sant Ji if after getting up early in the morning we still feel sleepy what should we do then?” Sant Ji in a loud voice said, “Sikhs of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj if you feel sleepy when your Guru calls wash your face with water once again.” Professor Harbans Singh Ji nodded his head and asked once again, “But what happens if we feel sleepy even after washing our face for the second time.” Sant Ji smiled and explained, “Recite the words of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj as loudly as you can. If they don’t keep you up then nothing will.” Professor Harbans Singh Ji then asked Sant Ji, “After doing all of this what will happen to us?” Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji said, “Instead of asking me this question why don’t you do it and find out for yourself?” Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  15. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time following a diwan by Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji a member of the sangat asked Mahapursh what the best way to do ardas was? Santji smiled at the sikh and gestured toward a little girl he saw playing in the lap of her mother. Mahapursh then explained that in the same way a child calls out to their mother when they are lost/in pain so should a sikh call out towards Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Such an internal/external cry doesn’t need to be taught. Each and everyone of us are born with it. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

  17. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji was walking around the parkarma at the house of Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Raam Das Ji Maharaj, Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib. As he was doing this an elderly Sikh mother was so overcome by darshan of Mahapursh that she immediately placed her head on the floor in his direction. When Santji saw this he didn't take another step forward and said, “Beloved Mother what are you doing?” “It's ok for you because of your prem but please spare a thought to the paap that is being put on my head.” “Who am I in the house of the true king, Satguruji Dhan Guru Raam Das Ji Maharaj? Who am I to be bowed at in Nirankar's house?” After saying this Sant placed his head on the parkarma and kept it there constantly while begging Guru Sahib for forgiveness. Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Raam Das Ji Maharaj. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  18. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Waheguruji. Thank you so much Bhai Mokham Singh Ji. The speed which you are providing these translations is amazing. This resource will benefit not only the sangat on this website but future generations for sure. May Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj continue to bless you. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  19. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time a Sikh had a very strong longing to see the holy charan kamal of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. He had heard many stories and praises of the beauty of Guru Sahib from all the people in his village but such were his karams that Guru Sahib hadn't blessed him with darshan yet. One day while the Sikh was in an extreme state of vairaag he was told by a passer that the King of kings, the Saint of saints, Satguru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was going to pass through Orissa (which is where this Sikh lived) during the next few days. Suddenly the Sikh's heart lit up as he waited impatiently to see Nirankar. Finally the day arrived. So overpowered by the beauty of Maharaj the Sikh, placed his head on the floor and tears of joy began to form a stream of love. The Sikh sat at the feet of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji and listened with complete focus to Dhurkibani. After spending a few days with the sangat Maharaj then indicated that he intended to visit other villages/cities. When Maharaj was about to go the Sikh fell to his knees, began to shed tears again and did a profound ardas begging Guru Sahib to stay with him always. Maharaj looked at his beloved Sikh, picked him up, held him and said, “My beloved, I am much more than this temporary vessel. If you love me then love my shahbad, love my gurmantar and my mool mantar it is that that is my true form. If you fall in love with that form I promise I will never leave you as I will come and reside in your heart and soul forever.” Loose translation from katha based on the sakhi recorded by Bhai Mani Singh Ji in Sikhan di Bhagat Mal Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  20. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time during the summer some sangat were sat under a tree outside a Gurudwara Sahib talking about the weather. As they spoke about the heat one of the sangat members said that he wished they could get some badam from somewhere so that they could make some cool Badam Milk. All the sangat members agreed with him but began to mourn the fact that badam were currently not in season. As they said this one moorakh sat over there saidwhile laughing, “Why don't you climb up this tree and shake it? Badam will surely come falling down!” (In reference to the test set by Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj for Bhai Lehna Ji) Sant Teja Singh Ji whowas walking near by overheard what the moorakh said and immediately told him not to utter such stupid remarks. Santji then began to tell the sangat that the house of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj lacks nothing as Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj is Nirankar himself. After saying this Santji began to shake the tree and badam began to fall down. Santji then very lovingly collected all the badam and made Badam Milk which he offered to Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji. When Sant Attar Singh Ji saw the Badam Milk he looked at Sant Teja Singh Ji with surprise and told him where did you get the badam from? Sant Teja Singh then narrated the events above. Sant Attar Singh Ji admired Sant Teja Singh Ji's love for Guru Sahib but also gave an updesh about using such atmik shaktis. Khalsaji never doubt the events that unfold till today at the beautiful feet of Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Loose translation based on katha, originally transcribed in a book written about the Jeevani of Sant Baba Teja Singh Ji. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  21. Wahegurujiakkhalsawahegurujikifateh One time Baba Sri Chand Ji and Bhai Chaliya Ji were sat on a bank of a river waiting to cross it. That day the tide was very high. Bhai Chaliya Ji who had done sangat of Baba Ji for a long time knew that Baba Ji was blessed with spiritual powers as a direct result of the Naam Kamaiya he had undertaken. After waiting for a long time Bhai Chaliya Ji requested Baba Ji to somehow transport them across using his powers. Baba Sri Chand looked at Bhai Chaliya Ji and said, “It is very easy to use Ridd Sidh, in fact we could use this stone that we are sat on to take us across the whole river.” When Baba Ji said this the stone began to levitate in the air. Baba Ji angrily looked at the stone and said that he was giving updesh not hukam and that the stone should take it's place on the ground. Baba Ji then continued and said, “It is much harder not to use them but this is the path that the true seekers of Akaal Purakh tread on.” Bhai Chaliya Ji smiled and said, “Baba Sri Chand Ji you are such an elevated soul who has done so much Naam abhiyaas and who are above Ridd Sidh why is that Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj chose Bhai Lehna Ji rather than you?” Baba Ji looked at Bhai Chaliya Ji and said, “Bhai Chaliya Ji I saw Guru Sahib as my father. Bhai Lehna Ji (Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji Maharaj) saw him as God.” (Loose translation from Punjabi Katha, originally transcribed in Jeevani Baba Sri Chand) What do you see Guruji as? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4227408894432144253# Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  22. Wahegurujiakkhalsawahegurujikifateh What link are you after? Like most stories in this subforum it has come directly from Gursikhs who have experienced/read/heard them elsewhere. This story and the previous one were shared by a Gursikh who spent most of his life in East Africa. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  23. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh In Congo, Africa there were a few Sikh families. In a particular area of Congo there lived a Sikh family who had some Muslim neighbours. As so often in that part of the world a civil war broke out. During it many atrocities were committed which included the murder of that particular Sikh family. Their Muslim neighbours had somehow managed to leave the area before the attack. When they returned they searched for any survivors. They found the bodies of the Singh and Kaur but also of their young daughter who miraculously was still alive. The Muslim family took the young daughter with them and managed leave Congo eventually ending up in South Africa. In this way they raised the Sikh daughter as one of their own. They managed to get her educated and eventually sent her to university for further studies. After many years had passed and the Kaur had reached a marriageable age the Muslim family decided to search for a match for her. They wanted the Kaur to marry a Singh and not a Muslim. Unfortunately they could not find any Sikhs in South Africa and as a consequence travelled to Uganda where they knew one Sikh family (farmer) to request their help. When they reached Uganda and narrated their story to the wealthy Sikh farmer. He was so moved by it that he decided there and then that his son would marry their daughter. In this way the Muslim family ensured that the Kaur married a Singh. Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan are that Muslim family. Who in this world could do such a noble act? They must have been angels. Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  24. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh There were many Gurudwara Sahibs that were established in East Africa as Singhs emigrated from Punjab during the early 1900s. Wherever Singhs gathered one of the first things that they did was to create a place where they could meet in sadhsangat and sing the praises of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. In this way in a remote area called Taboro, Tanzania slowly a Gurudwara Sahib was built brick by brick by the hands of Guru Sahib's Sevaks. The Gurudwara Sahib in Taboro has a plaque attached to it which states, “Singh Sabha 1910”. At one time the Gurudwara Sahib used to be packed with Guru Sahib's Sikhs however as time went on the sangat began to leave this area till eventually only one Sikh family; a husband and wife were left. According to Guru Sahib's hukam the husband passed away one day. Sangat from the capital city Dar Es Salaam came in numbers to help with the Antam Sanskar of the Singh. After an Akhand Path Sahib had been completed and langar served the sangat from Dar Es Salaam told the Kaur that they planned to take Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj to Dar Es Salaam and close the Gurudwara Sahib in Taboro. The Kaur looked at them and said, “Why do you need to do that when I'm here? Don't you know that Guru Sahib has been blessing not only Sikhs but non-Sikhs with darshan for over 80 years. How can you deprive them of that?” “As long as I am alive I will continue to do Guru Sahib's seva as he blesses me with it.” In this way the Kaur continued to stay with Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj in Taboro. Akho Satnaam Sri Waheguru Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
  25. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Beautiful. Can't wait for the next part. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh
