  4. Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh!! I have just come across this thread through the links on another thread, and felt inclined to respond. Kandola Jee, please do not get offended by this. I read your many posts with great interest and have obtained much gyaan from them. You are evidently very knowledgeable. However I must comment on this: Would it thus be true or fair to say that the same Parmaatma makes us go to the pub to get drunk, go to clubs to indulge in filth, or go to the barbers to get our hair cut??? (This applies generally not specifically to you!) Although everything is according to Guru Maharaj's Hukam, we must be responsible for our actions. Gurbani makes it clear what is right and wrong, yet the path we choose to follow is our decision. I am not condemning you for not yet keeping the rehit of full kesh; i see that the desire and pyaar for this IS there, as you indicated that one day you would like to take Amrit. Nevertheless, I fail to realise how you can claim that Waheguru Jee makes you do this chaur sahib seva, but not keep full rehat, i.e. keeping your kesh. Forgive me if this post is irrelevant and a change has actually occurred within the last 6 months! Bhulla Chukka Maaf Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Jee Kee Fa teh!!
  5. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Thanks for sharing your feelings with the Sangat. Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. I have just been doing paath at the gurdwara and besides Guru Jee there were only a few individuals in the darbar hall and it was so silent and peaceful whilst doing the paath and being with Guru Jee. However, later a few people started talking which is very distracting for the rest of the sangat and the paathi. What I don't understand as YSL has mentioned: I pray to Waheguru Jee that he does his kirpa and everyone realises (me included) that Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is our Guru and has the Jagdi Jyot of our 10 Gurus. As Baba Nand Singh used to say that Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib "Jeonda, Jaagda, Bolda, Guru Nanak Hai" > I feel that people would not talk if Guru Nanak Dev Jee was at the Gurdwara in human form, I wish that all people would pay the same respect to Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. I have heard the biggest "paap" that anyone can do is take someone away from Guru Jee and the biggest "pun" anyone can do is bring someone closer to Guru Jee. I believe these principles apply in the Sangat. If you are talking to others in the Sangat, you are taking someone elses mind away from Guru Jee. By being silent, you are giving other people the opportunity to listen to Gurbani and become closer to Guru Jee. Waheguru Kirpa Kare on everyone and help us all (including me) realise this when we are next at the Gurdwara. Just wanted to share my feelings with the Sangat Bhul Chuk Maaf Fateh
