  1. so black is considered a ignorant colour? really are colours that important?

im wearing a black dastaar right now and im smiling...oxymoron?

Buddy, Show me one pic from history where guru sahibaan wore black turban. I remember we sikhs wore Black color when we protested agnst the british and Nirankaris

  2. in sikhi...only following colors are accepted Blue,Kesri, and White.

Black is not allowed becuase Black is considered as a color of sorrow or evil nature. Muslims wore this color (in remembrance and sorrow)when Ali,Hasan and Husain(Lineage of Prophet Mohammed) were martyred in Battle of Karbala by Yazids. Black is also considered as ignorant and Guru Ke sikh donot wear Ignorant colors on their heads and mind

  3. There was a Gurbani Written which was not part of the SGGSJI. i.e. PENTIS AKHRI. Ongkar Sarab Parkasi...Atam sud me Akre Abinaasi........................Za Ra La VA RA. Mehl Dasve Naal Durga Mantar Rilaye Likhya ONG SRING HRING LRING SUNDRI BALAH NAMAH.

  4. Second sakhi of GUru Nanak Dev ji and Wall. This one is in Batala City(Dist. Gurdaspur) Punjab where GUru Nanak Dev ji went to get married with Mata Sulkhani ji. That wall is still there. GUrudwara Kand Sahib is the name. the Foundation of gurudwara was done by Sant Brahmgyani Sant Harnam singh ji Kilewale(NeelDhari Samprada(that time, even Sant Jwala singh ji were there...Sangat requested Sant Jwala singh ji to lay the foundation of the gurudwara but Sant ji refused saying Only and Only Sant Harnam singh ji Kilewale Mahapursh can lay the foundation of the Gurudwara

  5. SAACH KAHON SUN LEY O SABHE....JIN PREM KYO TIN HE PRABH PAEYO.

SGGSJi is not for sikhs alone, SGGSJi is for everyone(Muslim,Hindus,SIkhs.....so on). thats is why Guru Gobind singh ji telling SUN LEY O SABHE(Listen Everyone)...otherwise Guruji would have written...SUN LEYO SIKHO(only sikh).

PRahlad, Dhru, Hanuman,Kabeer,Farid, and all bahagts are Khalsa and true Gursikhs.

  6. 1. Reality is this:-

In olden times, when there were no wispers or Pads(for Periods), Women used to keep a plain cotten cloth or sometimes nothing; Which leads to No suchmata.

Now, due to Lifestyle advancement, WOmen are keeping cleaniness and are using pads too; which keeps the situation undercontrol.

so, even today there are many women(SIkhs) who go to gurudwara and do Naam jaap but donot do any seva when they are Menstruating.

There is even one sakhi in suraj Parkas Granth(read it long back...could not remember the exact details) where One Woman was not allowed to enter in Maharaj ji's Room bcz She was menstruating.

  7. Fer Karonga KHALSA Vase Vich Punjab.

Roos Firangi German Japan.....Sab Karnege Amrit Paan.

Delhi Takhat Par Bhaeghi Aan Guru ki Fauj....Chatr Choolega Sees Par Bari Karenge Mauj.

Ude Ast Lao Ham hi Hoenge.

    Now,

Fauj Fere AKAL ki...Makri Nihai Hoye....NEELA bana Pehr ke Hor na Disai Koye.

Raaj Karega Khalsa...Aki Rahe na Koi....KHUWAR hooye sab milenge Bache Saran Jo hoye.

  8. Dasam Dwar door is looked from Inside not from outside. Yogis or Gurmukhs do Naam Jap @ Trikuti which is like Standing infront of the Dasam dwar and by Naam Jaap requesting Lord(Satguru or Akal Purakh) to Open the Doors(Dasam Dwar).

Dasam Dwar opening is not in Gursikh or Yogi's Hand but it depends on Satguru or Akal to Open for him to give him Access to Inside the Dasam Dwar.

TU KUN RE......MEIN JI NAMA.......HOji Ala te Niwarana Jam Karna. When Dasam Dwar opened for Bahgat Naamdev ji, Naamdev ji heard voice coming Dasam Dwar '" Who are You ? and Why you have come here". Hoji Ala Te Niwarna Jam Karna.

Most of Yogis and Gurmukhs do Jap @ Tri <banned word filter activated>(Standing Infront of Dasam Dwar).

  9. Ref. from 100 Sakhi:-

Signs of Guru Gobind singh ji Coming(even though GUruji is Omnipresent then, now and would be in Shabad form).

    1. Scissors will not work when used on Hair.

    2. Sunnat(Circumcision) will not take place.

    3. Dead would raise from their graves.

these miracles would happen to show sign of Guru ji coming.

  10. SSA sikhsangat ji,

Right now we need unity among sikh dharam(whther it is Akalis, Sant Samaj....whatever). We need to stick togather espcially when we are attacked by outsiders. Balwant singh Rajaona had brought entire Sikh community togather and raise one voice agnst evil govt.

We should make more parchar inside punjab and outside to request Sikh Janta to become Shasterdhari. Personally, I donot trust these Shivsena people nor RSS.These ppl have lot of support from punjab govt bcz Akali-BJP govt. they have lot of spies who ar watching us. They are cowards.

We should spread message across sikh dharam to become Shastrdhari(not just shastrdhari but also how to use shastrs) Amritdhari sikh.

Time ahead doesnot look good. be vigilant and tyar ba tyar.

  11. NEW YORK: A Sikh family in America has received an anonymous letter that threatens to kill its members for being "associates of the Taliban", prompting authorities to launch a probe into it.

The letter, addressed to the 'Turban Family', said the family is being closely watched and it should leave the US immediately.

"Our people in the neighborhood have been closely watching your activities and figured out you are a close associate of a secret Taliban movement on the US soil. We ask you to leave the country as soon as possible otherwise one of our people is going to shoot you dead. Don't attempt to relocate somewhere else in America as people are closely monitoring your day to day activities," the letter said.

The identity of the family, which lives near Virginia, has not been released.

Local authorities are working with the FBI to investigate the threats in the letter sent to the family last week.

The Sikh American Legal Defence and Education Fund (SALDEF) said the Sikh family had previously been the target of similar hate crimes.

In 2003, the family's home was vandalised with graffiti and it received two threatening letters. In 2005, they received two more death threats through mail.

Inter-faith groups have spoken in support of the family, calling on the authorities to investigate the threats as a hate crime.

"Incidents like these are constant reminders of the challenges that Sikh Americans face as a result of our unique identity. In the absence of awareness about who we are and what we stand for, Sikh Americans continue to endure harassment, discrimination and threats which run counter to the American ideals," the SALDEF said in a statement.
