    While everyone is celebrating- sant baba isher singh ji rara sahib week long barsi celebration...do keep in mind- best gift we can give sant maharaj ji rara sahib among other sants- is to read and apply gurbani atam updesh written in form of questions and answers by sant ji in -atam hularey book and ishvar amalok journal dairy guidance to sangat/humanity written by sant maharaj rara sahib.     According to my understanding, Its actually not neccesary at all to learn intellectually- personal part of ardas in gursikhi bhagti marg because personal ardas is not meant to be learned intellectually or conceptually, or even turned into repetive ritual but personal ardas of a bhagat is rather done with similiar perception of innocent children calling out for mommy or daddy for help and get help in return from everyone because when child calls out for help it comes from inner heart/inner being without sense of mind or sense of perfecting it or learning it....innocent child calling for help does not learn intellectually calling out for help..child just does with such natural innocence and purity. Similiarly, personal ardas should be done with child like innocence, purity and sincerity. We all have to unlearn intellectual/conceptual baggage that we have learned in one point or another as its part of illusory mind..Sikh indentify itself with all prevading chaitan-consciouness/intuitive guidance-inner bibek within not illusory, egoic transient vulnerbale mind. Ironically contary to worldly or even scholary studies, spirituality sikhi/adhyatmic marg or sikh studies/ stage is actually reverse which requires to un learn everything, giving up pre condioning, condioned mind, unindentifying with intellectual/conceptual baggage, back to innocent child nature to unborn nature.

    Another note, reason words like "compatible", "sharing" is used its quite simple. Sikhi is absolute truth if other spiritual school of thoughts are pointing towards that absolute truth, share same absolute truth, then its compatible we are not against their gyan spiritual gnosis spiritually speaking* We are and should be happy for them as thats one of our uniqueness of sikhi compare to other faiths which considers their own faiths are sole custodians of truth very black and white approach. * ਸਰਬ ਧਰਮ ਮਹਿ ਸ੍ਰੇਸਟ ਧਰਮੁ ॥ Of all religions, the best religion ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰਮੁ ॥ is to chant the NAAM and maintain pure conduct.

    Spiritual gnosis which talks about aspects of vahiguroo of all major faiths(christianity-gnostic-talks about soul/supreme soul knowledge, tenth door, islam-sufism-zikr - seven layers of truth-buddhism-mahayana/tibetan zen buddhism, hinduism-vedas-advaita vedanta, qualified advaita) are pointing towards same reality towards vahiguroo, such pure gnosis are there in other faiths scriptures but its heavily clouded/hidden by dogma, modified, other sects, internal bickering.. sikhi is supreme because absolute reality its not clouded its evident right way in gurbani mool mantra, its start from Ikongkar no question on duality, enshrined in mool mantar and besides talks about all aspects of vahiguroo evidently right away not just one or few whereas others one has to spend 20-30 years of researching then eventually get to final message-absolute truth if lucky. One can still easily hold Sikhi supreme while accepting elements or aspects of truth/vahiguroo, eventual absolute truth in other faiths instead of new disturbing trend of totally rejecting other faiths or spiritual school of thoughts and undermining other faiths (which make us no different or unique than others) ,holding bias against other faiths, totally undermining other spiritual traditions without any deep research on it rather just by quoting outer layers. I wrote this not long ago, hopefully this helps not tended to start a debate just sharing my research"

    According to my research, end portion of vedas text is known as vedant(knowledge of vedant later taken out as seperate text just like upanishads, asthavakara gita etc), has 4000 direct /16000 indirect spiritual gnosis knowledge of absolute reality- paratma which has unity framework of jiv atma and paratma ..it talks, point, advises to connect one towards absolute reality/truth-parbhram. Hence, why sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale points out in his japji sahib teeka (screenshot attached in previous page) where vedas talks about gyan-bhramgyan unity framework of jiv atma and paratma, its indeed is compatible with Gurmat positon, where it talks about karam kaands its not compatible.. Gurmat rejects them. Hence, vedas knowledge cannot be completed rejected but only portion of karam kaands. Those who totally reject it totally including end portion of vedas or even vedanta are doing so in totally ignorance, knee je rk reaction, hindu parnioa/phobia they never read it or researched the deep spiritual gnosis, purposely ignore in insecurity. Mind you, most western, other non duality school of thoughts propagated by western spiritual teachers, zen buddhism, mahakaya buddhism etc also shares same spiritual gnosis with vedas ( base framework gyan of atma-paratma/end of vedas- vedanta), western non hindu teachers- echkart tolle,adyashanti, robert adams many others have no problem giving references from vedas/upanishads/non duality teachers propents of vedant. One does not become hindu by giving few references of non duality or absolute reality from vedas/vedant which is framework shared amongst eastern dharma.     As i said earlier i myself a khalistani as well, totally agree there are many sane harmless peaceful khalistanis out there who are old bibian. They are schoolkids. They are University students. They are doctors. They are factory workers. They work in the 'city'. They are teachers, They are volunteers doing seva, But there are small portion of extremist element who also happen to be 'khalistani' making loud noises who are violent giving sikhs image- khalistani or not bad name. Do your research, you will find them. I have done mine. If sane peaceful khalistani or sikhs don't rise up speak against their actions, they will become the voice. Do you want small portion of sikhs who using violence intimidation other fear mongering methods to be mainstream voice? I certainly hope not. If we don't do anything, they will certainly become the voice in next 10-20 years.     I actually totally agree with you are saying. Looks like we are on same page but have some misunderstanding. you have issues with my labeling of khaliban but your taliban labeling is much more direct I label them for same reasons you label them as talibans and plus i do that so that we can subdue their deliberate uploaded propaganda videos of beating up people which is advertently or inadvertently radicalizing sikh youths, instilling fear mongering in masses by spreading bullying, vilification,demonization, stigmatization, ostracization, violence, intimidation,.

    I have never painted all khalistanis with the same brush, thats an laughable accusations against me the reason i say this - because i myself a khalistani as well, khalistani based on gurmat ideals not reformist hostile violent one... i have said this in a past in fact so much i advised all the fellow our khalistani to get together their brain get their act together in other words- bring out actual rough draft khalistan constitution so people can take us seriously because at this point we are laughing stock. Is rough draft of khalistan constitution is too much ask from our leaders? May be 30 years down the road you may be thanking me for forewarning to sikh youths don't let your leaders to shaft you around, hold these people who do empty rhetoric of khalistan -accountable, ask them tough questions ask them to provide frame work instead of letting them finger youths all day long. Learn from outsider political mps how gracefully and respectfully they debate an certain bill or provisioning or constitution, how they do awareness campaign. What do we got? Even rough draft constitutions of khalistan written anonymously will be breath of fresh air at this point.     Fair point regarding risk of hindu extremist using this term, I may not necessarily agree with full ban of this term as one has to look at various context such as condemnation etc why it's used but I understand fully why this term had to be banned from forum by looking at the overall picture.

    I don't think so rather sikhs community WILL gain more credibility in the eyes of outsider, that we are pro-active community- we do acknowledge there is hostile faction or issues in the community and trying to take steps to address those issues- vehemently condemning them. Most non sikhs canadians have spoken to subtly accuse us of being affected with denial syndrome, oblivion of issues just like how they accuse muslim community living in denial failing to fix inter community issues.

    Just for the record guys, I didn't invented this 'khaliban' term. However I do support the usage of term in violent bullying extremist cases where there is a strong evidence of sikhs regardless (from all walks of life) using violence, intimidation, online verbal threats, fascist bullying behaviour to demonize, oppress the public other sikhs- weak,minority) who does not agree with their approach, ideology or have difference of opinions with them. Personally, I would use this word sensibly/responsibly as it could reverse demonize sikhs as whole. I am well aware of ramifications of any such term can easily fall into stereotypes ie- n word in black community among others. Rest assured I would personally use this term at rare exceptional circumstances where I (my Sikh conscience) clearly feel if others (be it any view including those who i don't agree with- I may not follow your approach but i will defend your right to express it or practise- sri guru tegh bahudar sidhant) are being opressed/demonized/villified/bullied just for having airing different views/opnions by others. I would use this term in course of defending weak from those oppressed, villify demonize others. As a Sikh and as a parent, i have moral responsiblity to ensure youths are not swaying into fanaticism rather following gurmat balanced sidhant- Bhai kahun ko deit nehn Nehn bhai manat aan || I am here to stick to this gursikhi asool- Bhai kahun ko deit nehn Nehn bhai manat aan, will try various awareness campaign methods to discourage youths falling into fascism and to raise awareness to adapt Gursikhi principles - Bhai kahun ko deit nehn Nehn bhai manat aan instead of bullying, vilification,demonization, stigmatization, ostracization, violence, intimidation fear mongering approach used by other communities.     According to my research, Miri-Piri has nothing to do with regular politics that we often see in sikh jagat these days which is born out of mind- five vices- jeoulsly/irkha/tribalism etc. In Gurmat, Piri- sipahihood is naturally born or spontaneously risen out of dharma miri - saint, thats why sant is first then sipahi not the other way around. The divine Miri Piri started by Sri Guru hargobind sahib is born from pure divine consciousness not from maya or mind nor it can be manually enforced by mind. Thats the key difference and reason why sikh jagat is not progressing as they are confusing piri sidhant and ended up having piri sidhant driven/risen out of maya- mind -5 vices all kind of fears, insecurities, paranoia, phobias, self righteousness mixed with ego/pride, five vices, jealously/irka tribalism etc.
