In Punjab , there were lots of words used to look down upon someone . "Bhappa ", "Baiyya " are also words used to chastise someone . I am originally a "Bhau " from Amritsar . It doesnt mean anything bad . Sardars of amritsar are called Bhaus . If i were to call someone in Doaba or Malwa , a Bhau , He would feel as if am mocking him . There is no end to all this potpourrri of words . Ethe te kucch wi chalda . So do you encourage this trend of calling names by accepting it . PS : However the reason i chose this id was totally different , perhaps to stand out as an iconoclast

Dude one unconventional advice that i would offer is ask the girl if she still likes you inspite of what her parents think about you . If she thionks like her parents , then then she is not worth the time even if you were a Magnate . If she likes you , assur her that you will find some occupation and ask her to wait or just run off and marry her or marry her without running off . That Ranjit singh was short has been corrobroted in the writings of an englishman . Some Sardarji mentioned in his novel that GuruJi was short 5 ft 9-10 something . He also mentioned what singh559 wrote about how GuruJi could create a shield around his highness with 2 swords , he could wield them so fast . The sardarji was criticized for his depiction on a sikh forum too for this .
