1. exactly!! so all u girls, put on the hijab yeh!!! it looks really kool!! so on it shud go! will make you look so pretty! and the guys!! on goes ur topi!! mite aswel, since we all love wearing baseball caps etc why not where a muslim hat too?? Again, they have some really facny styles!!! lets use them!!! Its obvious why they wear a kara, think about it, ONE to get a sikh girl in a club, they dnt drink neway therefore use the excuse the kara is their to stop them. Ie beadbi of kakkar no? TWO, those idiots keep bombing places up and dnt wona take the crap for it, the kara they can blagg being a sikh and therefore prob avoid being picked up by cops or paki bashers targeting muslims. Sorry, for all those of you who think its ok, you really dnt have that much respect for the Kara at all. Sorry but it has to be said. I know some sikhs who wont put the Kara on as its kakkar! They say we dnt have the right to wear the gift of Guru Gobind SIngh Ji, which is so widely handed out as a fashion statement! But u guys will allow them to wear!?!? Sort out ur sikhi priorites!! Talk about RSS, this the samething!!!!!! Ur giving kakkar out and sayin to someone tell the person what it is if they ask. So if they ask, and they dnt know what to say, they blagg it. Simple as. Therefore mis interpreation of SIKHI! "A Kara on a Muslim wrist is nothing more than a piece of metal. Simple. Stop worrying about it and learn to improve yourself in the face of Sihki." Dnt think we do my friend, maybe you need to understand the importance of kakkar first? Like its for all those too, who wear like 5 karra. Why? What reason are u wearing? I wear a plain sarbloh one as instructed by Panj Singh. The kara i have had on for the last 4yrs which i never take off. Then i keep my larger Shastar Kara too, but they serve a purpose. Not jst to look kool and make clangy noises. If you gona wear a chakar kara, sharpen it and learn to use it. If you gona wear the mala style, use it. if you gona wear big heavy kara, appreciate the purpose of it. These are war items too, not just for spirituality, so u giving a muslim guy a big kara is gona mean when you idiots who go round beating up random ones, they will either have a now equal chance, or get mistaken to be sikh. WJKK WJKF
2. A kara is a kara given by Guru Gobind Singh therefore no matter what light u shine on it, its Still a kara. Is a Kirpan given to a serial killer a Kirpan or is it just another tool? Is a kachera jst another pair of boxers? Is a Khanga really a Khangi? The fifth kakkar is debatable therefore no need to go into it. But the rest are all objects that clearly identify a sikh from any other person therefore if a kara is not worn by a sikh, its still a kara.
3. Stupid question really dont u think?? Should they be allowed to wear a Kara?? Erm... NO! Should they be allowed to wear Panj Kakkar and do beadbi of Guru Jis Roop? NO! So whats the difference? If you see a muslim with a kara on question where he got it from. Then take it off him. If he refuses, pull it off him. If you get slapped, well, give him one back! Simple as and find the sorry <banned word filter activated> who gives it him, and any other religion one and slap them to coz i used to know bare hindus wearing them at uni coz their "Sikh" mates used to givem them one. Sorry, its Kakkar, dont disrespect it!
4. Soz bro, wake up!!! SIKHS TAKING THE FALL. NISHAN SAHAIB WAS BURNT therefore so what if the tshirt implies we arnt muslims! I dnt care! And really, no1 else does!! Why should we take the beatings for them? WE SHUDNT!! So clearly marking out in simple terms for idiots that dnt know the difference!! is acceptable!!! IE, Guru Ji gave us HIS ROOP to stand out in the crowd. Well unfortunatly, westerners dont understand this as they only see as far as turban and beard. Therefore if a tshirt is now telling the same thing to them, whats the problem?? THATS NOT AN EXCUSE NOT TO KEEP GURU JIS ROOP!!! its a way of explaining to white people who are uneducated in Sikhi. Example, yesterday i was on my way home from cousins house and seen my 2 goray mates i used to session with. Obviously stopped to say hello as i hadnt seen them in a yr and sai i drop them home as live by me. Neway they asked what i thought of london stuff coz we always been open with views so no1 is hiding nething. They were like b careful etc when doing R4G as police can arrest for what the want which is true, but they failed to understand a Sikh is entitled by law to keep his Sri Sahib!! they were like keep covered etc and even tho i goes i aint gona and explained why, they cudnt get it in to their heads the difference!! Therefore if i wore a tshirt for which they can read, i KNOW they will understand it!! Paji, i used to communicate with BNP wen the trafalgar sq happend last yr, i made good associates with them. THey said from day one of the first call, we dnt like you, we dnt want u in our country either BUT we will work with you on this matter as we hate muslims. They said, we dnt mind Sikhs as they quiet people, dnt force religion on others but end of the day we still prefer all white british country. So please paji, dnt b tooo fooled by their forums. Their priority is anti-islam. where they gona go to after thats been dealt with??
5. Does that apply to school then too? Like whats the point in learning Trig when u can use a measuring tape and a patractor? THAT is preaching 112523
6. http://www.boss-uk.org/multimedia/#audio
7. Hopefully a few more people might like to join R4G too as the gianis doing this prob support the beadbi cases as they can see the girls dress up at the weddings and then dancing away at the party...
8. The word "Sabbath" if from Jewish faith therefore what relevance is this in Sikhism? Yes its unfair to make people work a day which they believe to be sacred but if you love your religion enough then you wouldnt work somewhere which contradicts you beliefs. Simple as. I know alot of people will say if u have to work then have to but then its a no. You can get another job doing something else. Might not be as cushy or what you want but if you love for your religion then u wudnt do anything to compromise it hence Sikhi is a faith which is saying come everyday, maharaj is waiting for you. If Guru Ji was again in the form of Human embodiment, most people would be going out f their way to see him as they did when Baba Ranjit Singh was in the UK. The diwan halls were PACKED!!! on WEEKDAYS!!!! not just weekends so again, the question lies, Do we really see Mahraj as a Guru or jst a "Bible", "Holly Book". Jeevan, i understand where you are coming from hence the need to say try to go everyday but on the other hand, Sikh is not about fitting things into our lifestyle its adapting our lifestyle to suit it. Like would you take your kakkar off to have a bath coz its easier then to wrap your kirpan around you head? No. Why? Coz rehat states it cant leave your body (even tho some gianis still lose their kachera too!! and kirpan!! and leave them hanging on the side when having ishnaan...) WJKK WJKF
9. Couple of points bro. I know someone who works 8.30-5 mon to fri. Their evenings are spent every day at the Gurdwara, from around 6/7pm till around 9 somtime days upto 10 in the evening assisting in the seva with the kids etc. Then further drops people at hme from all parts of the city even though its out of this persons direction, then sometimes when invited into the house goes in only to be listening to kirtan for a further few hours, talkin about sikhi, something. Then usually gets home around 12/1 in the mornin. Goes to sleep for a couple of hours to get up anddo nitnem and then re do the same cycle again. Satudays, a free day, goes to do kirtan at amritvela, might not play as they cant unfortunatly yet but stil makes the effort to go even tho the events of the week are so tiring. Then when arriving home, unlike others, does not go back to sleep for a while. In the evening, again time is spent again with sangat continuing simran etc and maybe even seva if they can in some way whether just doing taxi duites or something. Then we come to sunday, again, stil makes as much effort as possible to make this "free" day but due to the course of the week, somtimes its a need to take a break and "sit" down and catch up with work at home, ie clean your house, sort your car out, refuel if need to, other household duties but thn once completing this, going to the Gurdwara once again and go training, meet in sangat and in the evening join in Rehras, and finish with kirtan of some kind. On top of this above duty, this person is running websites in seva for the sangat, participates in the most the Sikh Events anywhere in the country even though falling asleep at the wheel is going to happen. And on top of that privatly studies to further education and to learn something new to maybe progress on to a career path. If someone is running a life like this and then uses sunday for something other then going to the Gurdwara is it right to say he/she is wrong?? Therefore your point to me, "be practical" coz school kids and people have jobs and school? Sorry, Sikhi comes first. Education and work are important yes but if you dont have Guru Jis blessing how can it be important? How can it possibly make any difference? It cant. You wont get anywhere without his blessing first therefore making it PRACTICAL to make him a part ofy our life. Lets say this, a mother cant go a day without seeing her kids and when they are small, they cant go 5min without seeing their mum. Think how Guru Ji feels to know his children think its "not practical" to go and see him each day. I know exactly what the post meant, i was just emphasising simple things which maybe we could all learn from. Sunday is a christian term. It never existed in Sikhi before the british came in to india so why follow Christianised Sikhi when you can have Guru Jis Sikhi? Coz its more practical to only go the Gurdwara when you need something and once a week. Though when a Gursikh has enough piyaar for Guru Ji, they will walk through thick and thin, miles on end, eat nothing or drink nothing, not even sleep until they have done the darshan and service of Guru Ji. Hence Guru Amar Das became our 3rd Guru. "it's nice to use cliches and say "sikhi is about 24/7" and "you should go gurdwara every day! EVERY DAY!" but that wasn't thje point of this post" Its nice to see lots of things, its nice to see a BMW M3 parked on your drive but your not gona get it just dreaming of it. You have to work for it. Its nice to know Guru Ji gives you everything, but again, you gota work for it. That may not have been the point of the post in your opinion, but if thats whaty myself and others have goten from it then what the problem? Sikhi is 24/7 simple as. Singhs would sleep on their horses UPRIGHT with shastar in their hand eating nothing for days as their was no food just so they could keep Sikhi. EVERYDAY and now its not practical to see Guru Ji more then once a week. This is off topic i know, but what happens on days like Vasakhi and Diwali? Does everyones working days just seem to vanish?? As they all seem to come out those days!!! Apologies if this post offends anyone. WJKK WJKF
10. I have it on my pc, i will try and shrink the size down and get it on the net. Its 54mb so gona take ages to upload and then to download. Will be on the net by end of the weekend tho!! Should be onSikhdreamweddings.co.uk WJKK WJKF
11. A wise phenji once said to me, you should go to see Guru Ji twice a day to recieve his darshan, once in the morning to see him wake up and hear what he has to say and once before he goes to sleep again hearng what he has to say. The time in between should be used constructivly remembering his name. Says it all really. Setting aside a sunday in the western world has become acceptable now. I personally dont like going to the Gurdwara on a sunday for the diwan as its the day everyone is out and talking so i cant spend time and talk to my Guru without hearing 10 bibis talk about so and so's niece or blah blahs son. N men goin on about bills and money!!! But agree sunday should be set aside as most people believe they cant make it for the rest of the week. But then use this day wisley, have Sikhitothemax up so people can see whats what!! they can read the shabads etc, they can have an understanding of what maharaj says in Hukhamnama etc. Have presntations set up, have kids events, leaflets etc, set seva duties so everyone can have in turns too! Make the day a fun day out for kids so they keep wanting to come back!!! Then eventually they too will think Guru Ji is fun and come back everyday!! i cant say myself we do all the above, BUT we do try our best to get as much as we can done. Implementation of the screens is now in order so a starting point has now been made!! wjkk wjkf
12. Fateh Ji I checked, all i get is the homepage n thats it!! When click on the links to go into the site i get error messages
13. Personally i agree with you, as patkha came in WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY after Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj reunited with Waheguru. Should wear a keski coz thats much smaller then ya dastar but jst tie it nice and BIG!! heehee. looks 10xs better then patkha and it ya tie it properly too, you can make it look jst as small as a patkha. Therefore nothing can be said to ya. "like if ur amritdhari, we cant were patkeh, not sikhi wisee" U may not wona say that on here, theres ALOT of people who will get extremly angry with you...
14. nah they went as far as SOUTHAMPTON to do it. it was dun at our gurdwara lol which is lyk an hour and half from southall no? 111999 They were offered a Gurdwara in Southall despite what is said. The boys side agreed to a change if the Girl agreed but she didnt therefore she lost out in the end. Now if she just listened she woulda saved herself some money and her family would have not needed to buy sore throat medication as they wudnt have needed to shout so much abuse!!
15. _oh: #1 112015 Also the same Tekhdar Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale condemed in his speaches.... 112027 AND HE ADMITS IT!!! HAPPILY!!!

17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH and HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH WONDER WHY THEY PULLED OUT????
18. instead of saying people should do something, how about take the initative to do something yourself? if not go and see the gurdwara about it!! then tell someone who will. Do ardas. Theres plenty of stuff that can be done. Take evidence, photos, video - its allowed, police permit it as "its a public place, if the person being captured doesnt like it, they can leave". So no1 can stop you, if they damage your camera, then its vanadlism on their part therefore you have yet another reason to expose!
19. AGREED!!!!!!! Dhumala with shirt and tie dont go!!! lol I look dodgey in my sisters graduation pic!!! Big Dhumala with shirt on, no way!! looks nasty!!!! lol but dnt mean i takin it off!! lol jst means next time parents best get used to a Bana in photos!
20. Dhumala offers much more protection as it is like a helmet on your head. You tie like a keski (for anyone who doesnt believe keski as kakkar or whatever, a small dastar materiel) by twisting it into your kesh and making like a jalebi outa it to make a joora. As opposed to how u tie normally? (i dnt know how people normally tie it, is it knot? my kesh aint long enuf therefore then only joora i get is by padding and wrapping keski into kesh). Then you tie like a round dastar on your head, but dnt tie it toooo low and keep it tite!!! then you tie your last dastar making your dhumala. Include shastar too, again these offer you more protection and act as defense and make you look scary (battlefield purpose) Im not sure what other people views are on Dhumala and normal but a normal to me is more based for granthis etc as when they put Maharaj to bed, he is able to balance easier where as Dhumala he cant due tot he shape... Dhumalla looks better too!! lol, i duno, i prefer it!!! Even my parents prefer it now they got used to it as they only used to like kenyan style before but coz i refused it and stayed Dhumala they got used to it and now think its better. Besides, look at the pictures in history!! They wore Dhumala as it offers more. its a personal choice, but to me, the only point in your dastar should be a teer or khanda sticking out sharply!! hope that kinda helped? its a difficult topic to express i guess... WJKK WJKF
21. PLEASE TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A CHANGE AND PUT SIKHS ON THE LISTINGS!!!!
22. A personal thank you from the campaign to all those who turned up which were new!! It was great to have you guys there and the support was needed!!! Thank you all who made the efforts to travel the distance and realised the importance of Guru Ji. Again, there are many people who say we should do so and so but are never to be seen at the events. Maybe one day you will get the courage to come too and help as today proved it, the power of Singhs and Singnis!!! Is SOOO great, the neighbours of the hotel came out to see what was happening!! They made complaints to the police about noise but end of the day!! Police would let sangat get inside the complex so nothing we could do!! If we had more sangat, then the Kirtan would have been MUCH better as singhing wise, there was only a couple.. All in all, the day was a great success, Maharaj did kirpa!! WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
23. Lakeside Country Club Wharf Rd Frimley Green Camberley Surrey GU16 6PT THIS IS THE LOCATION WHERE THE WEDDING WILL BE TAKING PLACE PLEASE BE THERE AT 9AM UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO MEET SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLEASE GO TO http://www.sikhdreamweddings.co.uk WJKK WJKF

Therefore we only have ONE wedding left on Sunday in Surrey which the details are listed above. Please can all either come to the charity event in Coventry or the AKJ programme in Barking and speak to the campaign members to find out details as to times etc. An updtae will be put on the site with a meeting place and time. In brief the meeting point will be Park Avenue Gurdwara Southall, but we are not sure on the exact meeting time as this is yet to be confirmed. Please make all efforts to come as the police have set aside an area for us to peacefully protest. Normally we only do chaupi sahib but this time we are thinking of doing Kirtan too to make it more of an impact!!!! please check http://www.sikhdreamweddings.co.uk as the final info will be left on there wjkk wjkf
