I heard this interesting Sakhi, which Bhai Paramjit Singh Ji told My link on August 18 on the katha section of Bhagat Kabir Ji sloks. Forward to 54min 50sec My english isn't good place listen to it yourself its better. Bhai Sahib said there was a Pooran Gursikh Nihang Singh named Baba Bachittar Singh Ji. When Sant Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale heard of a Puran Gursikh He went to meet Him, and said Baba Ji in my pervious life you were my Guru. Baba Bachittar Singh Ji said So, Baba Isher Singh Ji said instead of living in this run down place I have AC Deras. Baba Isher Singh Ji said I want you to come to my Dera because you were my Guru in pervious life. Baba Bichittar Singh Ji said in my pervious life I too made Deras but when I went to Sachkand and asked 10th Patshah I want space in your Darbar. Guru Ji said you already made your place back there (Meaning Dera). Then Baba Bachittar Singh Ji folded His hand and said Maharaj Ji how can I get space in your Darbar. Guru Ji said go back and knock down all the Deras you've made.

Bibeksar a text written by Bhai Adan Shah Ji, one of the founders of Sewapanthi Order. They say its a great work on Gurmat. Does anyone have more information or where i can get it.

While reading Guru Granth Sahib Darphan by Prof. Sahib Singh Ji I was reading the introduction of Baba Farid Jee's Sloks I noticed some interesting facts that go again't what I have heard in katha done by Giani Thakur Singh and Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji on the sloks of Baba Farid Ji. Prof. Sahib Singh Writes that the Bani of Baba Farid Ji in Guru Granth Sahib Ji is of Baba Farid Jee the first, not Sheikh Brama, Sheikh Ibrahim. 2. Farid Jee got "Ghang Shakar" added to his name not because of the story we all know but that his life was sweet and people were attracted to him. 3. also another interesting note is in Prof Ji's book "Adi Birh Barai" My link that the Pothis' before complied by Guru Arjan Sahib Ji were not with Baba Mohan but with Guru Ji, Prof. Ji's says that each of the Guru give his writings to the next Guru.

Here is any early text that says Guru Gobind Singh Ji give Gaddi to Guru Granth Sahib. Here in a early text called Bansavalinama on page 24, Piara Singh Padam quotes Patt Vaihi thus: "Guru Gobind Singh the tenth master, son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, residing at Nanded near edge of river Godavri, in the Southern country in 1765 [1708] in 'Kartack' (October- November) on Wednesday a command was given to Bhai Daya Singh: "Bring Sri Granth Sahib" Taking the command, Daya Singh brought Sri Granth Sahib. Guru Ji placing five 'Paisa' (coins) and one coconut in front bowed to it. To all the Sikhs congregation, he said: "My command is, in my place the Guru consider Sri Guru Granth Sahib. That Sikh who accepts this, his devotion will be successful, the Guru will take his arm, consider this the Truth." 'Patt Vahi Talond, Pargan Jind.

Has anyone heard of this book. Namdharis claim that this book totaly disprove of the fact that gurgaddi was given to Guru Granth Sahib and other nonsence they make up. The namdhari sikh wrote 1 Also let me make it very clear to you, I've contacted at least a dozen singh sabhia organizations until today including the SGPC and NONE OF THEM HAS BEEN ABLE TO SHOW ME EVEN A SINGLE BOOK WRITTEN AND PUBLISHED BEFORE THE 1860'S THAT SAID AAD GRANTH SAHIB WAS GIVEN GURGADDI. 2 he also claims that the Your singh sabhia scholars can only make up stories that it was lost to the muslims during the holocausts. Well pardon me but where did it stay from 1708 to the 1730's? Where ever the other Gurus had stayed overnight there was always Gurdwaras built on the spot so why is there not even a single Gurdwara built where this so called 'Jote of all 10 Gurus' must have rested? (that is if it even existed!). 3. Next question, when was Gurgaddi given to Granth Sahib? All other Guru's Gurgaddi Diwas is clearly mentioned and known but the one claimed to be given to Granth Sahib is so messed up that it's not even clear to anyone. Most of your singh sabhia websites claim katak sudi 5th or 6th well I have with me right now a Granth Sahib printed by singh sabhias that claims it to be given Gurgaddi on Katak Sudi 2nd! What the hell is this? The writer says that Kavi Santokh Singh of Suraj Prakash never mentions that gurgaddi was given to anyone else. but says: 19) Sri Gurpartap Suraj(Suraj Parkash): Written by Kavi Bhai Santokh Singhji in 1843 A.D. He has infact written that it was the Eighth Avatar of Guru Nanak, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, who once attempted to give Gurgaddi to Sri Aad Granth Sahib but It was rejected by The Sikhs of the time who requested Him that people such as Dhirmal would all sit with a Bir(Volume) in their hands and fabricate Its translations in order to control people! Regarding Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Actions at Nander, however, Kaviji had clearly written that The Guru told Kavi Alam Singh how He would secretly take care of The Khalsa and remain incognito in The Eleventh Avatar: Sorry for this miss mass of things but this article got me angered that they would make such a stupid argument that the gurgaddi wasn't givent to Dhan Guru Gratnh Sahib Ji. Sangat Ji forgive me about asking this question I heard in a katha that Baba Vadbag Singh was the 5th in line from Dhir Mal's gaddi. I belive this is also mentioned in Max Arthur Macauliffe book. Is this true If this is true then why are alot of people believing in him. Dhir Mal was the one who hired someone to shoot 9th Patshah. If this is wrong information plese respond Here is the video I saw.

Jeo Any day seeing Baba Waryam Singh Ji's book online is a good day. is this the translation of Baba Waryam Singh Ji's Surat Shabad Marg Divans, Also who translated it into english by chance if you know. Also, I hope your planning on putting more books by Baba Ji's, like Bhat Agam Ki. Thank You for the great work. also would recommand listening to Baba Ji's Divan Called "Atama Dee Pehchan" My linkdivan number 1000, third one on list, in it Baba Ji clearly shows the Way and simply. And towards the end says This is the way to knowing the Atam and the Sangat don't have to go anywhere else to get the truth.

i was recently reading Naveen Gurbani Vyakarn(the book is in the Sikhsangat scribd account) and came upon page 15 My link of the book talking about Ernest Trump in the foot note, who has been known in the Sikh World with his translation of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. in the Vyakarn book it says Ernestt trumpp wrote a "Grammer to the Adi Granth" published in 1873. See the foot note it also says the book is in a museum in Germany and Giani Harbans Singh went to Germany in 1994 and took pictures of the book and put them in his book. Prof. Dr Harnam Singh Shan wrote a book "Guru Granth Koskaaree" where he put the scans in his book "Dr Shan has been able to discover these valuable unpublished documents, alongwith Trumpp's incomplete manuscript, entitled Grammar to the Adi Granth, 1873, the first-ever work on that very important aspect of the Sacred Volume, in the State Library and the University Library of Munich (Germany). These have been duly described and illustrated by him in his work under review. Here is a review of Prof. Dr. Harnam Singh Shan's review of his book My link Does anyone have more informatioin on Trumpp's book Grammer to the Adi Granth. Also does anyone know where in America can I get Dr. Harnam Singh's Book. But the "Grammer to the Adi Granth" needs to be scanned and put online to see what the thinking was at that time.
