Are they a wanabe SinghSabha, pakhandis or legitimate? Anyone know?

One of my friends told me that he wanted to start making his hair knot at the back of his head. I told him not because it doing this would be saying that you are ashamed of your Sikh identity. When he asked how, I couldn't come up with a reasonable response. Does any member of the sangat have any plausible reasons for not tying your hair knot in such a manner? I would also like to know if anyone thinks this type of turban is alright, and if so, why?

I am guessing- through the shabads - that cannabis has a negative effect on the soul. This explains why Sikhi is against cannabis. I was also wondering if anyone has information on the medical problems and diseases associated with this drug.

I have recently been watching various documentaries where all the points used against weed are rebutted with good solid evidence. Now, I'm against weed, and most of the reasons I had against weed have now been proven wrong. I was wondering if there were any reasons given in Gurbani for why it was not allowed (I would also like to know if it is banned in Sikhi at all).

Apparently, according to Namdhari beliefs, Baba Ajapal Singh was Guru Gobind Singh Ji in hiding and lived up to 1812. I highly doubt that Baba Ajapal Singh was Guru Gobind Singh Ji but can someone verify the existence of this baba?

this problem is spreading to North America also. It seems that wherever Muslims grow in number, problems associated with them become more common and frequent. It might be big in the UK because Muslims in the UK number almost 2 million - which is huge in comparison with the rest of the non white population. Due to their large population, their extremist activities go unchecked because politicians want votes and the media fears a backlash. So, it will be no surprise if problems in the UK spread to the US and Canada, if they go unchecked.

For quite a bit of time, I've been researching articles and forums talking about Muslim guys converting Sikh and Hindu girls, Muslims attacking non-muslims, Muslims holding mass rallies calling for Sharia, Islamic state, etc... in the UK and Europe. I have read articles claiming that such claims are not true while others are saying it is. I do not live in the UK so I wouldn't know, but where I live, I have seen what I think are Muslims trying to take over (might be paranoia). What they are doing is they build massive mosques - meant for hundreds where there are only dozens of muslims - in areas which are heavily populated by Sikhs. What happens then is a stream of muslims move into the area and start taking over. I have even heard of muslim students holding prayers in school gyms (which does not make sense since other religions are not allowed to do this) and demanding that only halal be served (does this not infringe on the rights of others?). I am not sure if this is true, and would like sangat in the UK to post their opinions - since such things seem to have started there and spread. Furthermore, I have seen videos where muslims claim that Guru Nanak Dev Ji went to Mecca (not true because Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself said he was neither Hindu nor Muslim, but it is further proof of what I think is Islamization of Sikhi) If this is true, then why are we not focusing on this issue? Why are we focusing all of our attention on Hindus? We must deal with Hindu AND Muslim fanatics, we must deal with the threats to our faith in both the homeland of our faith and our individual homelands.
