  1. Beautiful are those feet which walk towards You; beautiful is that head which falls at Your Feet.

Beautiful is that mouth which sings Your Praises; beautiful is that soul which seeks Your Sanctuary.

    Beautiful

  2. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

    Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh

Kaur sis the only advice I can give you is to worry about yourself, forget what those kids are doing dont judge them. If you really want to help them, just be an example, just be a true Sikh. After all we must remember it is not the religion that benefits when someone follows it, the benefiter is always the student.

  3. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

    Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh

My advice to is that stop lust as soon as possible, dont just think that it is ok to lust today, and that you will solve the lusting problem another day. Make a promise with yourself right now, dont lust for 40 days, after that it easier, because you become determined. And also analyze the situation, why are u lusting? its becasue of flesh!!! think how rediculious it is to lust after flesh, and lust has the same result over and over again its really pointless. So make a pact with youself, with the Guru, with GOD.

  4. Actually I have always wanted to wear a Khanda, but I didn't really want to look different from all the other Sikhs. Now after realizing that people have a hard time telling the difference between a Sikh dastaar and a Afghan or Indian turban, I though the Khanda would be great, but I am still deciding. :e:

  5. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

    Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh

I dont see any thing wrong keeping pictures of the Gurus, on my computer I have a picture of vaisakhi 1699, here it is:

    post-2994-1130494986.jpg

this picture is worth a thousand words,

but I can see why many people didn't want any pictures of the Gurus, it is because they were afraid people would start bowing to them and worshiping them. Yes, I do think it is wrong to bow to a picture of Guru ji, or even a tree, or the nishan sahib, Sikhs can only bow to the Guru Granth Sahib. And what exactly are we bowing to? the hard outer covering? the pages? the writing? No, it is the devine knowledge it gives us.

In the other post regarding the Nanaksar Gurdwara, I dont think they intended to put the picture behind the Guru Granth Sahib so people could bow to it, I think it was just there.

  6. Now I am seriously thinking about wearing a Khanda on my dastaar, and not just on special occasions, I mean all the time. I mean the Khalsa panth did during Guru's time, and the Sikh dastaar would become more distinct, then the Indian or Afghan turban.

What do you guys think? am I making a mistake?

  7. If we all wore Khandas on our dastaar like the Sikhs did during Guru Gobind Singh Ji's time, our Identity could never be mistaken. The khanda on the dastaar is like the jewel on the crown.

If you have any cool pix of Singhs or Kaurs wearing Khanda on dastaar post here. :TH:

  8. Athiest welcome, I read what you posted in the Riot post, you were saying that nobody was worried for the victim, the poor black girl, everyone was focused on the 14 guys, I guess I can agree with you on that. This is the same thing, but here you dont care, because we are the victims. See you wouldn't understand, it doesnt affect your life. Becasue of all the bias in the media Sikhs have been killed all over the world. I am not saying that they should stop making people aware that Islam has nothng to do with the terrorist attacks, but the media should help out the Sikhs aswell who have suffered the most I think. But hey what do you care, let channel 4 say what ever they want, it wont affect the Sikhs right.

  9. My advice, forge your minds into intellectual spears, that are sharp and penetrate straight to the truth, and forge your bodies into steel, that can be ready to stand up to anyone!

Very well said Randip Singh ji, you are very inspiring

    BOLEEEE SOOO NIHAAAAL

    SAAAT SRIIIII AKAAAAAAAAAL!!!

  10. Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese are all Asian, they can all be described under the terms of Asian and it is in my opinion quite wrong to generalise such a diverse swathe of people in this broad, sweeping inaccurate term.

BTW lol Sikhs are not asians lol the Khalsa is a religion not a nationality , same with Hindu and Buddhist

  11. First off, i got to say, Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh, and congrats. But I must warn you also, dont think that taking Amrit will completely change you, i mean like controling the 5 vices, it is you who has to change. So bro if you think you are ready for it, DO IT! OFFER YOUR HEAD TO GURU GOBIND SINGH JI
