These days so many parcharaks repeatedly quote gita and even glorify krishan "bhagwan". The above tukk clearly states shiv is full of tamo gunn and krishan is not free from the cycle of birth and death. Life is short and a gristi sikh has so much less time as he has so much work and responsibilities to do. Why the he'll shud he be told about gita when we hv SACHKHANDI Gurbani with us. If an individual has time and wants to study gita, it's a separate issue but gita shud not be part of sikhi parchar and katha.

This hukamnama mentions that there was a sukhayee Singh at the Takht Sahib who supervised the making of shaheedi degh.

If someone declares on the stage that he is doing katha of bhangu's panth parkash and then cleverly skips the meat mentioning text in it, I feel it's literary crime.

Question is not about meat. Question is that scholars shud be honest students of history. U can't just burn or ignore historical books or documents that u personally don't agree with.

These scholar kathavachaks speak for hours but their parchar is weak. I go to budha dal chhauni near Ludhiana. Baba Joginder Singh is always absorbed in Naam.He isn't a scholar. He doesn't read books. Due to his immense bhagti, his simple words hv immense power. Just talking to him for few minutes, I feel closer to God and my sikhi gets stronger.

There r hundreds of historical references of Singhs eating meat. These "scholar" kathavachaks totally ignore these references and never bring these references in front of sangat. They fear if they speak even slightly in favour of meat, they will loose their future katha contracts as majority of Sangat these days is against meat and is vegetarian.

Sometimes the concept kathavachaks try to explain in hours, u can read the same concept in few minutes.

Excellent post veer. These days katha is available to people 24 hours via internet and tv, but still on ground level sikhi is not prospering. Some people listen to katha and quickly chakk amrit but soon after either break their amrit or don't keep any rehit. I m not against katha but sometimes these kathavachaks due to the competition with fellow kathavachaks try to be over scholarly and over complicate things or start giving examples from Hindu Granths. Sikhi and Gurbani is a simple way to God.

We must also question the present day education. Is it really education? Present generation is more educated than previous one and u expect them to be less fuddu and superstitious but it's the opposite. Even a bhainchod kanjar like ram rahim got so many doctors and engineers etc to be his chellaas.

I hv a Hindu friend from school time who knows lots of RSS Hindus of Ludhiana. Many of them go to nanaksar. Did nanaksar produce any khaarrkus in 80's?

On the political side, GOI and Indian agencies must be happy seeing sikh Sangat come under the control of sant babaas. These babaas don't hv the guts to take pangaa with govt. Or with the army. Dhan dhan Baba Jarnail Singh ji Bhindranwale

There are many Gurbani tukks that warn us not to listen to nindiya or ustat. Both nindiya and ustat harm us spiritually. Only listen to ustat of Waheguru ji and Guru Sahib ji, the True Kings. Ustat tactic is the bread butter for these dere vaalas. Guru Sahib has given full power and autonomy to Sangat. These dere vaalas take away that autonomy and place a sant baba in the heads of the Sangat.

Almost all Sikhs know that nindiya is bad,very bad. But gurbani says that ustat is also bad. Punjab is full of deraas. These dere vaalas do so much ustat of their "brahmgyani sant baba" that the people's head begins to bow for their sant baba. Ustat is the main reason people get attached to deraas instead of Guru Sahib. Sikhs shud be watchful against this ustat tactic of dere vaalas.

The present day baba's prime motive is not sikhi parchar but to get more and more people attached to their dera. That's why they portray nand Singh almost as a Guru and say that nand Singh is the greatest. If nindiya is bad, ustat is also bad according to gurbani. These nanaksar babaas do so much ustat of nand Singh that the person's head begins to bow for nand Singh instead of Guru Sahib.. These babaas r very clever and know how to control the mind of a person and attach him to their dera. It's all Maya game.

Fight for the panth? If RAW posts an officer ranked job looking for a Sardar boy to spy on khalistani Sikhs, majority of Punjabi mothers will encourage their sons to apply for the job as its a good paying white collar officer job.

These nanaksar vale "brahmgyanis"also disrespect Nishan Sahib and don't put Nishan Sahib in their gurdwaras.

Dhaarna is an attempt to explain gurbani in simpler words. Whether it's right or wrong is a separate topic. The video I posted is not dhaarna but is eulogy to nand Singh almost equating him with Guru Sahib. It's against Sikh rahit maryada in my opinion.

There is so much "sangat" attached to nanaksar. They lick the feet of these nanaksar babaas. Just shows the spiritual bankruptcy of Punjabis.
