  1. When Longowal's body was given the last clean-up. They saw that he actually shaved his pubic hair. On the forefront he wore a Kirpan and was a "sant" on the inside he was a pleasure lover and a fool (couldn't think of anything more colourful). It is probably one of the unsaid and most ignored rules of Sikhi. Never ever trust a politician. Especially if they are your own. :nono: They will just explode in your face. :<Edited>:
  2. Does anyone have any info from the time, and present day regarding the other guru ghars they attacked during Operation Bluestars? Would love to have it.
  3. This is going to be very anti-Gurmat but when I see this comment: "It is no coincidence that Guru Nanak did not fashion a ‘Sikh identity’. His whole discourse was anti-identity. It was against breaking up humanity into religions, castes, nationalities etc. The Khalsa was created by the 10th guru Guru Govind Singh. But his innovations also had no bearing on matrimonial, adoption, and succession laws of the Hindus prevalent in those days." I say f*** India and all Indians who are proud of their mother**** nation!!! But seeing as how all this "Sikhs are Hindu" stuff is happening we should all ignore it and go after Singh-Sabha with a vengeance.
  4. "It has been a tradition amongst Punjabi Hindu families to groom their eldest son as Kesardhari Sikh." What proof do we have of this? "But it did not challenge the law of Hindu marriage. Marriage continued to be a sacrament (not a contract unlike in Islam), polygamy was tolerated and there was no provision for divorce. A Sikh cannot marry a Muslim (Sikh gurus did not know about other non-Hindus like Christians and Jews)." Typical Hindu mindset.
  5. It has become commen practice to blame Singh Sabha for discrediting Purataan rehat etc. I saw an interview with Shaheed Bhai Amrik Singh Ji's daughter who said that the British were instrumental in preserving and recording Sikh history. Maybe we should start with their works? This Singh-Sabha thing is probably going to turn so big someday it will be similar to the Dasam Granth issue.
  6. If this continues then there will be a massive split in the panth in coming generations.
  7. Going by ithiaas and faith Chardi Kala is only given when there are those to receive it. If Akalis really were as evil as Indira made them out to be why does Longowal's mug grace Indian stamps?
  8. In reality Akalis supported her. All that they were doing was an act to smash Sant Ji's popularity.
  9. The Bibi who was given a free ticket abroad Dharam Khand express by her own bodyguards. :ignore:
  10. Don't know remember reading it that some mahapurakh said that. I am sure someone more enlightened then me can tell you who.
  11. Akalis. On tv she blamed the Akalis. Said that they had cut off grain supplies to the rest of India. She knew as well as anyone else that the Dharam Yudh Morcha was heating up and protest marches would be organised from Amritsar. Even with no Sant Ji the Akalis would have been the scapegoat (they acted it for her). Look at how many youth Longowal unnecessarily got killed. If I remember correctly at the time she acted as the pious woman by blaming the Akalis for setting up Sant Ji.
  12. That might actually work. Gangu came back as Gandhi, what are the chances these guys are the Badals? :cool2: :stupidme:
  13. Stuff like this makes me want to kill Master Tara Singh and others who put Sikhs India, even though they are dead.
  14. The news hit India like a wildfire. I remember talking to two Indians about it. And then they actually had a re-interview with her "how do you say your name" and she said "DiksH**." Paul Henry had the last laugh. There have been remarks such as "why doesn't Jim Baker spell his name with one K? Because 3 would be obvious" but Henry went overboard with this. But I agree with genie, it serves her right. And not only her. Every Indian politician.
  15. Thats all good and true, respect to the person who wrote it but the big question is what should be done today.
  16. My chittar can cover Hindu law for all I care. They are too caught up in their dreams to relaise their are kooms with differences.
  17. Soomeone should tell Paul Henry what shes doing and have him take another crack at her. But then the snake we unleash on her might come back to bite us.
  18. Let these topics come out. The quicker we resolve them the better. A given benefit is we can identify the Darshan Ragis in our ranks.
  19. Apparently he found a job in Australia, another factor which got him kicked out was he asked a question regarding ex-governor general of NZ. Anand Satyanand. "How kiwi is our governor-general?" And that too to the prime minister on live tv.
  20. Regarding cow's head, Surinder Kapoor MLA at the time blamed congress for that. You can find videos in youtube in which Sant Ji talks about the matter with the temple's sanyassi. The biggest thing is that A.R. Darshi, Dr. Subraniam Swamis and many other prominent Hindus believe government was behind this killing of Hindus. And it was always the same story, Hindu killed, police turns up "just as the killer leaves", a Sikh picked up and blamed. Could have been a Hindu for all you know but such inconsistencies point out the government's hand. And ask Hindus for proof, photos, videos etc. Amazing how they bring out a half-assed report from a newspaper with no pictorial proof. Plus they change the number kiled. Hundreds, thousands and what next? A full blown genocide like they did to the Sikhs?
  21. Hahahaha I remember in New Zealand when reporter Paul Henry made fun of her. They told him that the minister in charge of commenwealth heila Dikshit.... and he's like "wait, wait, wait. What did you say? <banned word filter activated> <banned word filter activated>?" http://www.google.co...ZE4HMjkvf6GQS8g
  22. Just out of interest when a jathedar of Taksal went to Sachkhand did they leave any written material of who the next Jathedar was going to be?
  23. Never heard of this before. As far as I know Bani comes from Waheguru and was revealed through 15 Bhagats, 6 Gurus, 11 Bhatts and 4 Gursikhs. "Stuck" is just implying Guru Ji was inferior (but thats my view on the matter) nad is probably another way of saying Bani is not from Waheguru but the Guru's creation, this might as well lead to the commen trend in many Sikh's thoughts today. The Gurus were separate individuals. Physically as well as mentally. When it was Guru Nanak Dev Ji all along in different physical saroop.
