  1. As much as I agree with what u say I also disagree. U haven't seen how many idiots actually fall for this. Rab-Rakha for me. But I want to answer this retardness for all the lost Sikhs who are wandering under a delusion that somehow what other religions say about Sikhi is true.
  2. How do you refute the second comment on this website: http://neo-sikhism.blogspot.co.nz/2008/11/does-khalsa-look-like-shiv-ji.html How doe we refute people saying Khalsa and Shiv Ji are same/ Khalsa is a copy of Shiv Ji.
  3. Right I am on it. <edited>
  4. U guys are awesome!!! Thanks for this. I am taking notes. If only a few more Singhs or Singhnees were doing the same on Fb or other social media.
  5. So we are saying Waheguru made his powers manifest in the form of a Kirpan which Guru maharaj blessed the Khalsa with. Other than that CHandi as in a female is just a metaphorical representation of what really happened? What is Kandan of Havan?
  6. Mehtab Ji ur right. Who the bloody hell do the Sikh organisations work for? Sikhs don't they? If they choose to ignore us than we the commen Sikhs should boycott them and start our own campaigns. We are united!
  7. Guru said never to look at caste. Rather than giving chittar to anyone does Mr. Maan comes onto a forum and speaks his mind behind closed doors.
  8. I got Das granthi online. Problem is I cannot understand gurmukhi.
  9. Know where I can get Ugardanti Bani from?
  10. I wouldn't trust wikipedia to a certain extent.
  11. I think I am beginning to understand please explain if I am correct. Lets say there is a person who has two powers. Intelligence and strength. Can we say that is Waheguru, his strength is Chandi?
  12. In the context of Katha, what is Chandi/ Durga? A being created by waheguru or an organic image of his powers? Guru Sahib needed someone's blessings? I mean I know he received Akal Purakh's blessings but Chandis?
  13. But in the Katha they say Chandi appeared etc.. does this mean that the Goddess appeared and took the form of a sword? Even more important is this the same goddesses as accepted in Hindu dharam or is this the warrior aspect of waheguru?
  14. What is Khalsa and how does it differ from a Sikh? How does Panth differ from Koom? What is Dusht Daman, or who is he? How is Chandi or Shakti releated to him?
  15. I agree but (I know this sounds anti-Sikhi and stupid) I get wound up when people go around saying Guru Granth Sahib is a copy of Vedas or offshoot I just want to establish the differences. Thats what I see as seva. I have no knowledge of such stuff and this is a good learning experience for me.
  16. Please feel free to correct and criticise me, I just listened to these two kathas and was impressed with the knowledge displayed. http://www.manglacharan.com/2011/05/chandi-pargat-hona-katha-by-giani-baba.html However I do not understand Shakti, was that Akal Purakh in one of his forms? I also do not understand the bit regarding Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. Is Akal Purakh's shakti in Kirpan? Hence is Kirpan chandi? How do we, in Gurmat, view Durga? How does our view of Chandi and Durga differ from Hinduism?
  17. I am still scratching my head can we sum it up and say we should study Vedas as per Guru's hukam to learn about other religions and respect them?
  18. I am taking your advice. I am taking all of it. But can you explain something to me?
  19. Veer Ji what did u post. I cannot see anything.
  20. If I want to write an article, a post on all this. Which points should I address. How do I categorize my article? Heres what I think I should do: 1.) Intro-What are the Vedas. 2.) History of Vedas. 3.) Sikh perspective on Vedas. 4.) Commen misconceptions regarding Sikhi and Vedas. 5.) Guru Sahib on Vedas. 6.) Shabads rejecting Vedas. 7.) Shabads approving vedas. 8.) Explaining what these shabads actually mean. 9.) Vedas in Sikh history. 10.) Conclusion- Did Sikh Gurus derieve teachings from Vedas or not. Is Sikhi a Vedic faith?
  21. Time they look at HSS and other Hindu organisations. Supporting Hindu terrorism financially.
  22. I am not against Hindus but I need to point out to you how just about all of them believe Sikhi is part of Hinduism. Below are the points they always, always raise in a debate. 1.) Hindus wear janeu, Sikhs kirpan. There is no difference. (This is a recent one). 2.) Because a majority of Hindus became Sikhs it must mean Sikhs are Hindus. 3.) Neo-Nazi Sikhs have changed shabds in Gurbani to suit themselves. (This is where Singh Sabha is slagged off). 4.) Guru Sahib used names of Hindu Gods and Godesses in Gurbani. This means Sikhs are Hindu. (They are getting quite creative with this mean. Bhagauti is supposed to be Bhagwati in Hindi now). I know there are many veers on this forum who could answer this stupidness in their sleep, but I am thinking about creating a whole team to smash their arguments to pieces. Off course their mentality will not let them accept the truth of what we say. Maybe a few blogs, facebook pages can be set up. Social media goes a long way nowdays.
  23. There we go again when the rage dies down then the Jatts get the heat. When they react everyone cries. I am sure the <banned word filter activated> who started this thread believes in Caste himself. Look son if Jatts smashed u not our problem, urs and theirs. Fools like u come onto such forums just to start off a verbal battle on the basis of caste. If u really feel that insecure about jatts than go onto a Jatt forum or lodge a complaint with the Indian army asking them why they have a Jatt regiment. I also suggest doing something about that inferiority complex u have. It is very dominant in u.
