  1. this is ridiculous putting caste names on everything- those sikhs should be ashamed ! fortunately younger sikhs are gaining more sense i don't like that sikh symbols are being put everywhere- and then disrespected. Hindus also don't even respect their own symbols. We respect their demi-gods and symbols more than they do- they sell their statues on ebay and put the symbols on underpants Here they put images of devia on cigarette lighters- they should be ashamed of themselves- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6190798626&rd=1 Next is an image of Kali Ma on a lunchbox- talk about put u off your food- they should be ashamed of themselves for not respecting the images, symbols of religion http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6190574462&rd=1
  2. sticky please If we practice what we preach and are not all talk then- Let's protest and move the Panth from strength to strength
  3. These are issues that will have a massive bearing on not just our lives but even those in other countries like France where our brothers and sisters need our help- or should we just say sorry we can't spare the time? Don't worry paji- you'll make it- stay in Chaaardhi Kalaaaaaaaaa :TH: sometimes we must walk and not just talk, practice what we preach by supporting the Panth on major issues affecting all of us and not just leave it to someone else to do our duty. Take care and let's go from strength to strength
  4. ak47 bro u and the youth don't know how you're being used- i know the leaders of these groups the youth are innocent and ignorant of how bsc and other groups just want to use them to score points against the feddies i think aman jee however may well know the score and is just trying to cause trouble- the reality is everybody supports the same cause but the bsc and others wished to break away from an EXISTING PROTEST planned a long time in advance to cause trouble
  5. This is THE most blatant of SNUBS- yet the organisers don't even have the courage to admit it nor are the organisers- the so-called "British Sikh Council" following their own manifesto However a lot of the INNOCENT young 'uns protesting are being drawn into the political mud-slinging by the BSC. The next generation of British sikhs should watch out 4 game playing by British sikh council not allow themselves to be used by having fewer larger protests- they should unite & work together
  6. if they really wanted to the youths could like do a takeover
  7. no offence paji but i think that was a bit of a hot-blooded reply <admin-profanity filter activated>
  8. Hello- i live the uk- when i was young i often attended youth camps (i won\'t say which because i don\'t wanna cause in-fighting) but immediately not only children but those running the camps also used to pick out children whose parents belonged to different jathae or groups and they would get bullied or name-calling: for example i specifically remember one occassion (one of several hundred i\'ve seen during my life) where a 8 year old boy was picked on by one of the people running the camp and was called Taksali and another Babbar as if it was a swear-word. He was then picked on for the few days the camp was running and teased, tormented and even targeted for physical abuse during football matches like being slide tackled harshly. We all know this happens and the point of this topic is for us youth to decide where the future of the Panth lies- are we going to commit the same mistakes of previous generations and in-fight so much that as Baba Ranjit Singh stated in a recent diwaan pardhaans will go off and create new Gurughar purely for the sake of keeping their kursi & we all know of these one-man groups , for example- Dal Khalsa. Then sikhi will be broken up for sale piece by piece. We can all see the effects of sects on Islam and how they are as much at war inside than out. Does somebody believing in something the teeeeeeeeeeeeeniest bit different to you bug you that much?- So much so that you would NEVER stand with that person even when they say something that makes sense? OR do we want to learn from the error of previous generations and stand together united and together like a fist? I do not wish to pick on anybody and if i have made any mistakes please forgive this mo0orakh. Maybe this could be turned into a poll
  9. This is where those believing in pluralism are met with fast-talking christian or islamic salesmen. Christianity has so many different 'aspects' believing in so many different things that it would be much easier for a person to be christian and hindu than christian and sikh. I doubt it would be easy for example for Punjabi sikhs to accept Christian Mormonism whereby you are taught that only white people will enter heaven and that when you die God will turn you white if lived a good life before entering heaven. Why would God bother making people in diffrent colours in the first place? According to them blacks are the descendents of baaaaaaaad people  - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacks_and_th...tter-day_Saints
  10. Without the youth having a place to gather and be involved in sikhi there plans for the Gurdwara will be complete like the Death Star in Star Wars
