  1. It seems as if the light is far.

    Far beyond my reach.

I’m striving for the knowledge you give,

    Through tender words, you preach.

I search for this light that is precious so,

To let my mind be free.

I wish with all my love and thoughts,

    So my soul forever sees.

I pray each night of my gifted life,

To be blessed by Father above.

For a wretched soul like myself,

I can only offer my love.

  2. how can this question come up between gursikhs...??

i mean. that would be pretty sad eh

if a couples sikhi is strong, they will never go through this thing called divorce...

lol..i have yet to see a divorce between 2 Gursikhs

  3. sometimes when im just layin my head down or somethin (sleepin), i got my hood on...but i dont wear it when im like walkin or somethin like that...i mean theres no use in that...but everyones diff right...own opinions etc...

personally, i dont think it should be worn just when youre like walkin or soemthin like that...but as i said, i have it on sometimes when i got my head down/sleepin in school at lunch break...not sayin its right or wrong...i may be wrong..i normally am...lol

and as the first person who posted said, the person saw nothin wrong in it...maybe some people dont know that its wrong....

  4. Isn't Bandhi Chhor when Guru Arjun dev ji made the 52 tassles with the kings?

    Khalsa123

ahhhhhh :TH: buh normally i've heard em called as kalian <_<

    kaliaa arent really tassels though.

    makes me think now :D

cuz like tassels hang..they are composed of quite a number of little threads :@

and you will NEVER see tassels on a CHOLAA!! :@

on a Chola, there are separate peieces of cloths assorted right beside each other, and they are sewed together from the middle, and the middle part is whats known as a kali (ku-lee).

but there is nothin hangin from the Chola, like for example a tassel.

  5. it all karma init.

    everythin you recieve is karma...

or maybe even things to make you stronger.

for example..some think that if they lost their dreasest loved ones..they had bad karma right?

but what if they were in good health? and they had a good home etc..?

in this case, it may be looked as God makin the person stronger for more things to come in that persons life..

    i dont know..

    just my views..

    peace...

    GurFateh.

  6. umm

    why you judgin me? :D

i think im practical enough grin.gif

    maybe not on here :s

    plz dont judge

    that somethin i dislike.

    ^^^

Has split personalities :D (jokin) . I think you should be what you are, be it on this forum or in real life.

I wasn't judging you rolleyes.gif .When you read someone's posts you form an opinion about that person and i just wrote what i thought.

In the thread "Hindu lady with a tattoo" your comments substantiate that emotions do govern you at times. Your response to that thread is somewhat puerile.

Somewhere you said you dont hate no one but in the same thread you said I HATE GIRLS :s .

i might be wrong but i hope you understand what i am trying to say.Whatever i know about you is all based on what you write here.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf Karni

    GUR FATEH!!!

if i really meant that i hate girls, then i guess i hate my mother, sisters and every penji....

now theres a joke and then theres sarcasm and then theres slight exaggeration and theres just speakin

    sorry....im a low-life. w/e

  7. penji hate if someone judge her.

penji this is not good in my opinion. a sikh can never hate anyone if someone jude him/her. we are learners.

this is just an opinion plz don't mind. thanks

i dont hate anyone who judges me :D

    i never thought like that.

i said i dislike it when people judge. not the 'PEOPLE' who judge.

  8. i always use to ask god y do these inocent ppl have to suffer from hunger like that? it use to tick me off, what did they do wrong to deserve this?

but eventually i came to conclusion that these starving ppl are our brothers and sisters.

if our brother or sister was hungry then we wud provide them with food. thats sumthing we 4got to do with our brothers and sisters in africa.

i didnt realize that they are my brothers and sisters that are starving, and im sitting here in canada not doing anything about it.

i look at it as if god is trying to test and see how much we care for our bro and sis in africa and if we even realize what we are suppose to do insted of complaining about it and not doing anything about it.

    its karma init?

what you do in your past lives effects your lives ahead of you.

  9. ki dusiye, this thread has gone on for sooo long now man. even i'm running outta things to say tongue.gif

^^^^ has the khalsa flag :TH:

is sweet veerji like singh with dunalli veer, sikhness and saday big brother who has a pic with turla vali pagg.

    ^^^has sweet posts :D

btw...what does turla vali mean? :D

  10. It is interesting to see Dalits leaving Hinduism ,but thousands of Sikhs becoming Hindus by cutting their Kesh in the Punjab. There has also been a rise in following superstitions and self styled gurus. Many Sikhs refferred to as low castes have been joining other religions due to the complete lack of parchar from the Sikhs.

ya. people shouldnt just call themselves Sikhs just cuz they born in a fam that goes to the Gurudwara, or has pics of Gurus up... etc.

people got no knowledge no more

    no interest no more

    no love no more

    no respect no more

    no trust no more.

they got nothin but doubt and excuses.

if you aint a practicing Sikh, then you aint a Sikh.

like get with the prog peopl; and try growing up.
