  1. i humbly bow ur post is a classic example of how wonderful Waheguru and how he looks after his devotees.............and how filth is like the crap u throw into the see.................no matter how hard u thrown it in............the crap always comes up to the surface and can be seen............

the parent aspect of how views on marraige can differ and wot "we" think is right and "they" think is right..........but at the end of the day

Hukami Andar Sab Ko, Bahar Hukam Nah Koee

we are all merly puppets and Waheguru and HIS sweet will...................

u end up marrying the one u wanted to marry - Waheguru has done kirpa

u have a marraige where ur beaten day after day - Waheguru has done kirpa

u have a marraige of two gursikhs and living each day in HIS charan and mediatation - Waheguru has done kirpa

We have karam and god knows what we did in our past lives so whether, we choose, they choose..........IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL HUKAM :)

    waheguroooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    Im confused

  2. I was just wondering if anything has happened about this comment from a radio presenter:

    http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/news.nsf/Ne...725735D0044A4E4

did you that sat sri akal is banned on bbc asian-scum network, they say every1 elses greetings but not ours, boycott it.

screw them man they cant hurt us.....bbc asian network is nothin but gandh............gandh attracts gandh...........i personally dont want sat sri akal associated with that pathetic excuse for a network!

  3. I like that rajni story BUT seriously when it comes to marriage today yea a few put spirituality high on thier list but the vast majority only care about looks and everything else is secondary now init........yea i know its wrong BUT thats how people roll today......which is sad of course but what can you do..........forget what other people think init and choose someone who will support you in everything including ur sikhi.

"BURTONSVILLE, Md. (AP) - Montgomery County police are investigating what they call a possible hate crime against two Sikh men.

The men were assaulted by a group of teenagers on Sept. 15 in Burtonsville.

The victims are a 75-year-old from Springfield, Va., and a 77-year-old from Burtonsville.

Police say the two were walking in the woods when they came across the group of 6 or seven boys, believed to be about 14 or 15. They say 2 of the teenagers punched the men in the face, causing them to fall to the ground.

Police said they have no information about the motive, but are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime."

  5. backward thinking has alot to do with domestic violence..........alcoholism too plays a major part.........men too suffer from domestic violence but its not widely reported for obvious reason...........i guess women stay because they dont want to lose face in the community or they keep on thinking their man will change many many reason its such a complicated topic man. However, the woman in that case didnt kill herself because of violence maybe she was depressed.

  6. i think sitting on the floor is correct seven kings sabha gurdwara and karamsar gurdwara (sorry for spelling mistakes) have got it right i usually go to the neville road one in east london its nice all done up BUT use chairs and thats wrong to me personally.

but u know what sikhs who aint into sikhi that much wont care becuase to them its just a chair u know and when u try and explain it to them why i sit on the floor and not above Guru Maharaj all they give u is funny looks.......

BTW im NOT referring to the bibia in the pictures im talking bout those people who could sit on the floor but choose not to (the healthy non disabled/old people)

  7. So when we're at the Gurdwara Sahib, why do we bother to face Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj? Might as well turn our backs towards our King.

It's respect, pure and simple. You (hopefully) wouldn't stick your feet in front of someone's face if they were talking to you.

now THAT would be funny..............but i agree with you.

  8. That "janak" story was really good  BUT i dont think people are THAT evolved on the inside appearances mean ALOT to people.........everybody has an idea of their perfect partner and if they meet someone who doesnt fit into that "pefect partner" model that they have in their heads they would not be interested i think........so the best thing to do i think is when you meet someone approach that person with an open mind without any prejudices and u never know what will happen.

  9. find out what is triggering those thoughts and then cut that thing out if you cant back off from it a bit........erm........when get these thoughts distract yourself with other thought (good ones! lol) i.e. jaap naam etc.
