  6. Hi, need help from the sangat please.. Recently (2months back) I had a major argument with a friend (lives on my road too!) and since that day, he has never forgiven me. He puts it down to many reasons, which i find very minimal and minute between two good friends. Were both guys, hes 18 and im 20. We've known each other for 8+ years and became very good friends about 4 years back. However, i am also very unforgiving to others, and have blocked people out of my life before. Can i put this down to karma? I didnt think it would matter if we didnt talk, and i have tried again and again to get

    Re:

I AM TOTALLY WITH THE PROTESTER, AND 100% SUPPORT WHAT THEY DO AND HOW THEY DID IT I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THE FIRST POST, WHAT PLANET ARE YOU ON? HAVE YOU FORGOT WHAT HAPPENED TO US? AND WHAT DID WE DO? WE KILLED THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE (GHANDI) AND TO RIGHT WE DID. AND NOW, MUSLIMS ARE BEING MURDERED IN THEIR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, AND A SOME RIGHTFULLY PROTEST AGAINST THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE. THEY ARE SHOWING A STAND. SOMETIMES, WE NEED TO FORGET OUR PREJUDISM AND LOOK AT THE FACTS. SOME PEOPLE ARE UTTERLY CLUELESS, AND IT ANNOYS AND FRIGHTENS ME THAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS POST STARTER ARE ABL
  9. I don't know if they are in our blood but I agree with your sentiment. Someone in another thread pointed the disgraceful abuse of lower castes and Biharis by Sikhs in the Panjab. This includes verbally, physical and sexual abuse. Maybe we should start by shining light there? I do agree with what you say, and totally agree that it is unacceptable and an utter disgrace. But, you put your finger on such a small topic that is WRONG and the work of a FEW. We should not forget this but we should not reflect the wrong doings of a few and project them on a whole population. Agreed, this is somet
  10. Beautiful an very inspiring post. We need to teach the youth these stories and truths from a very early age. Sometimes, what happens is, that the intimate details are missed out. So youth simply remember, Muslims came to kill us and we killed them. Which is true but this breeds alot of hate and prejudism against Muslims. We should teach how our ancestors hated NOBODY, and fighted out of justice and in belief of what was morally right. The astonishing courage and good values of our ancestors seem incredible, what those same morals and values are in our blood. We need to bring these out and ask
  11. I read that it missed him unfortunatly... But the emphasis here should not be on the shoe throwing, but on the Indian "government". For them to drop charges against the congress minister who conducted the 1984 massacre, is barbaric to say the least. Just goes to show that the indian government is just as guilty as any other murderous nation like america these days, absolute murderers in my eyes. No justice, no apology, just further indications that sikhs are oppressed, just like millions of other innocent people in the world, ie Palastinians in gaza. World is a horrible place to live in, i
  12. http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/04/0....shoe.throwing/ By Harmeet Shah Singh CNN NEW DELHI, India (CNN) -- A journalist hurled a shoe at the Indian home minister, apparently in anger over his Congress party fielding a leader who had been accused of leading anti-Sikh riots in New Delhi in the aftermath of the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1984. Security personnel caught hold of the journalist, identified as Jarnail Singh, and took him into custody after the incident, which happened as Home Minister P. Chidambaram held a news conference in New Delhi. Singh was later let off withou
  13. THERES ALWAYS ONE. "Dhan teri sikhi", look at these sites. http://www.bangkokpost.com/media/content/20090105/4769.jpg http://yalibnan.com/site/archives/2008/12/...gaza_war_in.php (these are just the tip of the iceberg) Look at yourself in the mirror with a straight face, and repeat "they should finish it off". You cannot underestimate the predictability of sttupidity, and you have proved this fact with merits. Think.
  14. Im afraid your first poinn of "both sides are at fault" is totally wrong, and i urge you to seek the truth through others means such as non biased news coverage such as George galloway's website or through Press TV. This is the same thing the hindu propaganda said against the sikhs in 1984, and people fell for there lies. Dont fall for the lies of the western media against there new target, the muslims.
  15. You have truly inspired me. I cannot thank you enough for this post. I have in the past realised and have been taught that forgivness, like love, is a blessing that we some are given and some are not. Through spiritual and righeous way we are able to seek this tool, that will give us help fix certain aspects of our lives. But there is one point that i wish to discuss further, you say that cutting people out has personal gain. This is true in the sense that our negative energy and emotions are irradicated, and our lives can become more focused upon righteous things that are important. Do you
