  1. what pathan homelands in pakistan were conquered by hari singh nalwa and which pathan homelands in pakistan were conquered by the british peshawar has 3 million people so 6% pathan population in total what other lands of the pathans did hari singh nalwa conquere and what evidence is their by conquering 6% of the pathan population that all pathans got scared and all afghan mothers got scared and used hari singh nalwa name to scare their kids
  2. the patali misl sold out to afghan and british and were never part of the khalsa who were some of the other misls who refused to ally with ranjit singh and became princely states of the british
  3. how do sikhs define who is a sikh and who isn't when ppl get married in the gurdwara if someone is born to a sikh family but is an athiest and got married in the gurdwara would that be ok and then can't someone else pretend to be a sikh for the day and get married in the gurdwara or just lie saying they converted to sikhism just to get married and then never say their sikh again
  4. the tribal regions of pakistan are the home to the pathans but what part did the british conquere after the second anglo afghan war were the afghans surrendered some of their land and allowed the british to control their foreign policy to keep russia in check cause russia had eyes on india and the brits could of controlled all of afghanistan but once again it wasn't good for buis since maintaining afghanistan costed more money then they made off of afghanistan so cause of afghanistan's poverty they just settled for some of their territory's and control of their foreign policy
  5. with city of peshawar what other regions that the pathans called home did the sikhs conquere
  6. gsp actually maharaja ranjit singh died in 1839 and besides peshawar which is a city of 3 million people making up only 1.5% of the pathan population how did conquering this city of peshawar send fear into all afghan mothers if the sikhs accompanied the indian soldiers of the british east india company led by the english isn't the conquest of afghanistan still creditied to the british and not the indians or sikhs or if sikhs get credit then isn't it equal to saying that india or indians conquered afghanistan in 1839
  7. is the rule going to be people have to be baptised sikhs to get married in the gurdwara
  8. and regarding tables and chairs isn't the point to make everyone sit side by side to show all people are equal in eyes of god it doesn't matter if someone was low caste or a king they had to sit side by side when eating in the gurdwara theirs nothing in the guru granth sahib that says people have to sit on the ground and cannot use tables and chairs and when people do sit on tables and chairs side by side are they not all equal and is it not the same as sitting on the ground side by side when old people sit on the table and chair while everyone else sits on the ground doesn't that techniqually defeat the concept when people say oh if you bring table and chairs into the kitchen soon everywere in the gurdwara is going to have table and chairs and you would have to climb the latter to keep the guru granth sahib above everyone well someone could say the same about accomodating old people by allowing old people to sit on table and chairs then can't the same argument be made that old people will soon be sitting on chairs in front of the guru granth sahib
  9. if this topix is to conteversial i ask the mods to shut it down why do sikhs bow down to the guru granth sahib isn't it sort of a hindu ritual same way hindus pay respect to statues of theri gods or their scriptures i heard people say the guru granth sahib is a teacher and guides sikhs and that is why so much respect is payed to the guru granth sahib to covering it up with proper cloth or waving a wond over it or bowing down in front of it but question if someone downloaded the guru granth sahib on their laptop or cell phone would you bow down in front of the laptop or cell phone and wave the wond to fan the laptop or cell phone and cover it up in nice cloth to keep it clean or if somone printed the guru granth sahib off the internet and hole punched it and threw the papers in a binder and you had seen this binder would you bow down to it now i hear alot of stories sikhs attacking certain places cause they believe the guru granth sahib is being disrespected now what do sikhs plan to do with people who download porn and the guru granth sahib onto their laptops are they going to go al quida on the internet what seperates what sikhs do with the guru granth sahib from hindu rituals
  10. didn't hari singh nalwa pass away in 1837 and wasn't it the british east indian company along with shah shuaja who went on to conquere afghanistan but after a year the british saw afghanistan to poor of a country to make money off of so cut down number of soldiers 4000 and cause of so few soldiers shah shauja was overthrown and about 100 000 pashtun tribe men attacked and killed all but one of the 4000 soldiers and their familys never heard of the sikhs helping the british in the first anglo afghan war but sikhs probably did allow them to pass through the lands owned by the khalsa to invade afghanistan
  11. their our 25 million sikhs out of 7 billion people meaning less then 1 percent of the human race has come to learn or understand what sikhism is and add in the history of humans why has god chosen so few people to know about this knowledge now can't say all religions are the same cause they conterdict eachother christians muslims and jews believe in heaven or hell sikhs jains bhuddist hindus believe in re incarnation christians believe jesus was son of god muslims believe jesus was a prophet jews believe jesus didn't exsist or was a very holy man and the list goes on theirs over a thousand ways all majer religions conterdict eachother why were aboriginals of north america for thousands of years denied knowledge of sikhism
  12. did you copy and paste that from http://www.defence.pk/forums/military-history-strategy/177048-how-fear-sardar-hari-singh-nalwa-forced-pashtuns-start-wearing-salwar.html theirs a whole debate going on regarding those claims on that website without a doubt nari singh nalwa and the sikhs conquered peshawar which is part of the great military accomplishments but sikhs need to research and find evidence to claims rather then believe things someone says without evidence in court you'll have one side making an accusation and another side playing defence the prosecuters have to provide evidence to back up their claim beyond a reasonable doubt gurdeepsinghjohal to you believe things blindly cause someone made a claim or do you look for evidence to back up the claim and try seeing the other side of the story as well to find the truth
  13. is their any evidence or is it hear say that the sword was mohomad
  14. the granthi made a claim that hari singh nalwa conquered all of afghanistan and americans and nato are unable to conquere afghanistan these guys who try teaching history in the gurdwara yet never studied it themselves are they the reason why most sikh youth have no idea about sikhism or their history cause sikh history is amazing and full of military accomplishments but lot of sikhs dont' know about the real military accomplishments but they know about fabricated stories
  15. is it true afghan mothers would scare their kids saying hari singh nalwa will come and get them or is it a sikh myth cause which part of current afghanistan did the sikhs conquere for afghan mothers to use hari singh nalwa's name cause i notice granthis at the gurdwara talk about stuff like this but then its sad cause if these guys havn't studied history what gives them the right to try and teaching something they have no knowledge about at the gurdwara
  16. ive seen guys from the gurdwara commitee who scream for khalistan and destruction of india kiss any punjab politican that visits butt i can only find 15 names of sikhs who went from the west to india to fight for khalistan which leaves out like 99.9 percent of sikhs who wanted khalistan but didn't go fight for it and most of who were just to scared to go fight for it so they thought donating money was enough or going to the gurdwara for the annual khalistan chanting rally was good enough so what does that even tell you of the odds of their being a khalistan
  17. first it woudl be a very corrupt country and the badals would be the first prime minister of khalistan sikhs support corrupt politicans by voting for them and they'd do the same in khalistan its a big culture problem in punjab which is jatt culture the culture of ego the cutlure of greed being selfish that allows for sikhs to vote in corrupt fuc** like badal who put cops who murdered thousands of inocent sikhs as cheif of police its the culture sikhism produces vs punjabi culture and most sikhs fall into punjabi culture its the same punjabi culture that discriminates against women and believes in caste and ego its the same punjabi culture well study the history of punjab before sikhism to see the goods and bad's of punjabi culture and study punjab's military record before sikhism what punjab needs is a cultural revolution but since so many sikhs are corrupt in punjab it explains why sikhs vote in corrupt politicans cause if their wasn't a cultural problem with sikhs in punjab then sikhs would be on the roads protesting against the govt like the arab spring
  18. is an athiest born sikh family allowed to get married in a gurdwara even though their an athiest and can an athiest born into a non sikh family get married in a gurdwara
  19. seems like in each case were sikhs have protested its a sikh girl marrying a non sikh but never heard of a protest were its a sikh guy and a non sikh girl which may lead some that some sikhs are protesting out of insecurity and use the fact sikhs must marry sikhs if they want to have a wedding in the gurdwara many people are asking if its driven by insecure men rather then protest why not channel that anger at looking at different ways on educating sikh youth on their religion and history and how anyone can apply some of the lessons from sikhism in their life to empower and for someone to be allowed to get married in the gurdwara do they have to be born to two sikh parants and they themselves be agnostics or athiests if you have one person born into a sikh family and knows nothing about sikhism and is agnostic is that person allowed getting married in the gurdwara or are they allowed and if another person is born into a christian family and know alot about sikhism and sikh history but choose to be agnostic is he banned from getting married in the gurdwara
