    I posted a video on this forum about "Sikh Prisoners" Day and Night News. Please watch it as you will understand the situation clearly. In the video, Advocate Bains said that technically it is not right to say that they have served their full terms. Life sentence is life sentence. It is government's decision to let them go free or not after 14 years. So it is LEGAL for the government to keep them behind the jails. Very sad. As most of the cases, govt will let them out but since they are political prisoners, they are treated harshly as govt is scared of them. Solution is that Punjab Govt i.e. Badals have to built pressure on the state govts where those prisoners are, to free them. It is in hands of Badals and Panth is watching them.

    I don't live in London. I am in California. There was a protest in SF. I could not go because of my finals but few family members did go to the protest. I guess we are only Internet Warriors. Not real life ones like Bhai Gurbaksh Singh ji

    These words are of Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj. It is not bind faith Veerji. When a criminal commits a crime and get arrested, cops would put handcuffs on him. Our Guru has put permanent handcuffs on us so that whenever we are going to do something wrong, our Kara would remind us that we always have to do good. It makes perfect sense to me. Wearing a Kara is a choice unless you are Amritdhari( even being an Amritdhari is a choice). God isn't enforcing us to wear it so it can't be slavery, if one choses to wear it, it is out of love and respect.

    Give him Kara to wear but also tell him the significance of Kara and tell him that Guru Sahib will held him responsible for his actions. This is not just a Kara but Hathkariya put on our hands by our beloved Guru.

    I have heard that Bhai Sahib's sister went to meet him in jail but she was not allowed to meet him. Also, the advocates were not allowed to see him either. http://www.punjabspectrum.com/2013/12/30637
