okay, I recently came from indya (panjab) I was at my mamehs Pehnd, and being a hero i thought i could milk the Mahj (cow) so off i went,

i was milking the cow fine from the side as usual (holding udders) etc...when my little nefew only (10) said to me that thats not how we do it and challenged me to milk the mahj the way they do it, so i asked how do u do it den? he toldme that u need to come under the poosh (tail) of the mahj and milk from there, me stupid enough thought yeh okay i'll try that, aparently it woz supose 2 be an esier way, there I sat milking away when....

yeh the mahj done gohaah (poop) all over me, hmmmmm, not a good site, my 10 year old nefew stitched me up, for whole two days had Gohaah smelling out of me NOT GOOD

what is the SGPC for? they stopped giving money to children of shaheeds because badal's a puppet of the RSS and the BJP complained that the sgpc was supporting terrorists' children..

all you sikhs in punjab need to take back control of the SGPC and Akaal takhat from RSS sikhs and badal sikhs. There is so much money in punjab but the corrupt sikh leadership is spending it on their own homes and businesses.

Why what will you do? What will any of you people do?

If you do find out that a guy has been harrassing or assulting a girl will any of you guys do anything?

Answer is NO, you will sit on your little internet forums and moan and whine and talk big about beating people up, but 99% of you wont actually raise a single finger or have the courage to carry out your macho comments!!

Its nice and easy to talk a big game but when it comes to actually doing something everyonnneee dissapears and its just the victim and the close family who have to deal with it.

What will you do if the guy accussed of the stuff says he didnt do it?

What will you do if all the local people and his friends say nooo he cant have done it, hes a great guy and they all support him?

What if he is your friend? Would you have the courage to question him/her or would you just think nooo hes my friend?

What will you do if he blames the girls saying that they are trying to ruin his name!?

What will you do if 99% of people say no way he cant have done it, and yet the girl is saying he did?

Answer is again ..NOTHING! if it came to putting your necks on the line and your reputation on the line in a situation like this, most of you would sit on the fence or say nothing or blame the girl/the accussers.

There is sooo much evidence of this, it happens everywhere! Little boys and girls with their heads in the clouds thinking that by posting a few emails problems can be solved!

Victims will NOT come forward in most cases cus they KNOW they will have no support, some may do cus they read the rubbish you lot post up, and then when it actually comes to doing something, you all walk away or turn against the victims cus sometimes its hard to listen to what has to be said.

For the sake of the victims of abuse, harrassment and assult, please dont act like heros and saviours unless you are actually going to do something. its not a macho thing, its not a 'gangster' thing that you can all talk big about and laugh and crack jokes. If you had been abused you would not find it funny. Victims will judge the 'saviours' on their support and action, not on 'id kick his as5' messages on the internet.

i pray for those that do help out the victims, the ones who act and not just brag and talk. when its ur sister, daughter or wife, n u hear people like you guys talking as if you know how it feels or like you actually care, or actually would do something then you will appreciate the point of this message.

Its best to attend actual self defence classes rather than trying to teach yourself on the net. The guide seems ok but it doesnt cater for the countless variables that apply in a real fight.

yea true, in a fight i had recently i didnt use any of my actual martial arts techniques , my mind had gone blank and the only thing i remembered was to turn my body and to aim my punch and step into it. i won by a mile but then i thought about all i have learnt over the last two years and i cudnt even put it into practice, cos of the adrenaline.............. but if we practice at a club it is much better than DIY.

I think the best tip on how to knock sum1 out is to aim for the jaw...if u dnt learn any of those techniques e.g. steppin into it dnt matter as long as you get a good hard knock on the bottom of the jaw....that rocks ure opponents brain and knocks them out also brakes their jaw in two places.

but stepin into it , increases the power at least three times......iv tried and tested this at one of them boxing machines u get at the fairs.............. my cuzins n mates didnt know how i got such a high score lol they thought im really strong, but its about technique and hours of using the boxing bag...........

Hey everyone, i dont know if this is the right place to post im sure it will be moved if it isnt.

But since im going to india after like 7 years, i was wondering if we shud make a thread about it, so that if anyone else is going then they too can read this thread and take the advice of the sangat. We are going to punjab so places near to punjab wud be gud, but anywher in india cant do no harm.

So what places should we visit, what should we not miss out on............ famous places, fun places, religious places , places where i can buy Gutkas with nitnem, kirtan cd's , sikhi books in english.............

Essentials to pack in the suit case, tips on surviving in the scorching weather, tips on not getting eaten by insects............. tips on anything...........

What were your experiences when you went?

if the SGGS is not supposed to be jus taken anywhere why is it then bought into peoples houses? u dont know what goes on in each and every house it is taken to. also if u have a point of the granth sahib taken to hotels why was it not bought out a long time ago when people first started taking it into hotels. you say u are starting to make a difference but ur starting in the wrong place. i know how it was handled because it was in my family, and believe me it was not in a polite and diplomatic way.

i am a sikh, i go to the gurdwara regularly and i have full repect for my Gurus and holy book, however the way in which people went about 'saving the guru granth sahib' angered me, it didnt feel as if they were trying to protect a big part of sikhi, instead it felt like a silly gang trying to throw thier weight around. maybe if people considered a way in which to talk and make the point understood in a calm way, you would not have fellow sikhs opposing to the point you are trying to make, and believe me there are many.
