Historically Captain has not betrayed the Panth as much as other Akali factions have.
him and his brother in law Badal have playing games of musical chairs whilst both minting it from ill gotten gains ripped off from punjab's and SGPC managed assets ,whilst pushing all oppressive bills into the legislature

The woman in the tweets said "what tf you gonna do about it". She's gonna keep up with the provocation as it gives her attention as a liberal progressive and because she knows there would be no repercussion whatsoever other than a bunch of tweets.
well you can be disinvited from darbar for disrespecting maryada of Guru ji's darbar , honestly they couldn' t wait until well after , outside . This is not chaste behaviour , kaam and othe vikars are supposed to be left outside the door of the building , both of them should have been told go do your vivaah in court if you cannot keep your minds clean for the short time of the actual Anand Karaj . In future she can be told that she can do her manmat in her own home and not to darken Guru ji's darbar with her narcissitic ways. This kind of makes the case for rollout of BOS wedding course to all prospectives so this BS doesn't happen again.

Following initial influences through attending a seminar by Baba Ram Das (the former Richard Alpert),[21] in January 1970 Briggs attended a Los Angeles yoga class instructed by Yogi Bhajan. Followers of Yogi Bhajan included singer Johnny Rivers. Briggs was profoundly influenced by the experience, and followed Yogi Bhajan for twenty years thereafter.[1] In retrospect, Briggs regarded his time with Yogi Bhajan as having been cult-like in nature.[28]
Briggs commenced studying Kundalini yoga and Nāda yoga, as well as Sikh sacred music.[18] At the request of Yogi Bhajan, Briggs returned to England in December 1970, to open a yoga studio and to teach Kundalini yoga[29] This was the first studio of Kundalini yoga in England.[18]
During this period, Briggs developed further interest in Sikh religious music, and in the Sikh religion, spending much time with members of the Sikh community in London.[29] Briggs was particularly attracted to the use of the harmonium in Sikh religious music, and commenced learning how to play it.[1][30] Members of the Sikh community in London began to refer to Briggs as Vikram Singh, and were impressed with Briggs' ability to sing and play Sikh sacred music. In 1971, Briggs was formally baptized as a Sikh[29][31] and chose the name Vikram,[31] to which was added Singh Khalsa.[1] Briggs was thereafter invited to perform at various Sikh temples throughout England.[29] Also during this period, Briggs met and later married actress Kirsten Lindholm, who also converted to Sikhism.
At the request of Yogi Bhajan, Briggs returned to southern California from England, in the early 1970s. Briggs attended the Ali Akbar College of Music in Marin County. In 1977, Yogi Bhajan appointed Briggs and his wife as co-directors of the Guru Ram Das Ashram, in San Diego.[29] They continued in that capacity until 1990,[18] when they left Yogi Bhajan. The involvement in the Sikh community of Briggs and his wife continued to grow; Briggs became one of the founding members of the Sikh temple in San Diego.[29] Briggs and his wife left Yogi Bhajan based on a dispute over whether the equity in the temple should belong to the local membership or to the central leadership.[31] During this period, Briggs also had a plumbing business in San Diego.[10]
In 1979, Briggs performed Sikh religious music throughout northern India[29] and was the first non-Indian to perform kirtan at Harimandir Sahib (also called the Golden Temple of Amritsar), which was a very powerful religious moment for him.[1] Briggs subsequently recorded several albums of Indian music. with a particular focus on the Gurbani kirtan, being representations of hymns from Sikh scriptures generally set to ragas.[1]
Briggs kept a degree of distance from Sikh social settings: "Sikhi spoke to my soul. Gurbani still speaks to my soul. I just prefer not to be involved much with Sikhs, Indian or American, because of the political considerations that are always present."[31]
The name Antion, which Briggs adopted as a stage name, came to Briggs following his observation of a solar eclipse above the ocean, from a beach at Del Mar, in 1992.[1]
In 1993,[18] Briggs and his family relocated to the Hawaiian island of Kauai.[32][33] While in Hawaii, Briggs had a radio show for a period of time.[1][34] During an earlier stopover in Hawaii, Briggs heard and developed an interest in the music of the Brothers Cazimero.[32] Following his move to Hawaii, Briggs developed an interest in and commenced performing Hawaiian chant music,[32] following study under Blaine Kia.[1]
In 2003, Briggs provided an invited review of Sick of Being Me, a novel by Sean Egan, a novelist and journalist with a number of publications in relation to the music industry. The novel concerned the challenges to a struggling musician in the 1990s.[35]
In 2008, Briggs and his family relocated to New Zealand, the country of his wife's early years, where Briggs, known as Antion Meredith,[18] and his wife of over forty years, known as Elandra Kirsten Meredith, became yoga instructors.[36][1]
He died from cancer in 2021.[37]

Anton Vikram Singh Meredith, photo courtesy of Pritam Pottshe was hardcore defender of Yogi Bhajan and claimed that the ladies who gave evidence against YB in court about his abuses and later the lady who wrote the book were liars or trying to blackmail him . Pretty low behaviour . All the white 3HO core had amrit in 1970 under orders of YB to do with his visit to India to showcase his 'conversions'

Bhai ji, I have serious problems watching videos like this. I just can't concentrate on them, and the delivery sends me to sleep.
I worked as a teacher for a bit, and I have to say, if anyone taught a class like the majority of katha I see, they'd be sacked. lol
I don't discount the possibility of missing details of Guru ji's life, look at how nobody had a clue about palit puttar Zorowar Singh on this forum for instance.
But I doubt the Ayodha sakhi is true. Until I see contemporary or near contemporary sources, I'd be skeptical. But I wouldn't 100% discount it, more like 99%.
I would doubt it 100% because the Ram Mandhir priest said it was untrue about babri masjid being built over Ram birthplace , it doesn't seem likely that Guru ji would be bothered about fighting over birthplaces of anyone because in His Bani he says they are not important , and also in life he never believed in samadhs etc in fact preached against such things .

Music (particularly our kirtan) does attract a lot of western musician types to Sikhi.
If anyone knows the 60's group called "The Animals", there was a guy who became Sikh called Vikram Singh if I recall. He used to do kirtan all over the UK.
Then there was Lonnie Singh a jazz musician who became Sikh also.
I always felt that Sikhi would get a lot of African Americans converts through Kirtan because they do gospel, however the black churches do a lot of standing and clapping and I am not sure how well that would go with gurdwarae.
That Vikram is the nasty egotistical guy who tries to put down Singh who wrote the expose of Yogi Harbhajan and his mangling of sikhi

technically he's kind of right since very little is original now most pop music is samples taken from all genres from all ages . it's the disneyfication of music why think up something new when you can recycle ? It's green innit

so this is how Gurbani' s power is used and abused by white 3HOers to big up their names , it is great that Gurbani actually helped Belinda but like most white people she fell for the 'Baba in white' image of the spiritual vampires of the 1960-70s because their lives are bereft of naam and dharam.
Now these people who were named are facing a crisis created by their Baba ji's sexual sadism , but instead of saying well he made up the whole thing and was a predator , they are scrambling to distance 'kundalini' yoga from yogi Harbhajan and cary on monetising gurbani pangtis for themselves

All? You sure about that?
Guru Arjan Dev? Guru Har Rai? Guru Har Krishan? Guru Gobind Singh? I'm certain based on official writings the mentioned Gurus had what we'd call staff and helpers which included people farming their land on their behalf. Let's not get... carried away!
who taught plantcare and cultivation to Guru Har Rai ji who created an exquisitely stocked medcinal garden and animal treatment place ? obviously it was his father and elders , Guru Harkrishan ji OK due to his age he is exempt . The point was they never showed disgust and rejected people who were poor, sick in need .no job was beneath them , Guru Gobind Singh ji even retied dastars and tended wounds of his beloved khalsa , Guru Teg Bahadur ji stripped himself of clothes to give to a naked child . Khalsa is the lowest of the low and because of that they became the highest model .

Put it this way, even the author/s of the Gita reveal their unintelligent mindset whereby the very people who tilled the land so that society could eat, were considered to be lesser than the rest. Last time I checked, humans can't eat holy scriptures and weapons.
Guru Sahiban all tilled the soil to show us that all professions are blessed and our prayers invoke blessings on the farmers, the sellers, the cooks along the way to our plates before we even take a morsel ...some people need to remember to be humble because they are nothing without the blessings of the masses

the biggest insult is removing the evidence of history by removal of the original bullet holes , they are destroying Punjab's history to claim we had zero claims to being a major part of the independence movement :

Afghan diplomat criticises India for prioritising Indian nationals, ignoring Afghans
Afghans waiting at the Kabul airport (left), Afghanistan's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammed Ashraf Haidari (right). Courtesy: AFP/sacep.org- "India should honour the Strategic Partnership Agreement", says Mohammed Ashraf Haidari.

Afghanistan's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammed Ashraf Haidari has slammed India for prioritising the evacuation of Indian nationals from Kabul while leaving the Afghans to their fate, reported Sputnik International on Monday.
Haidari, while reacting to a video of Indian nationals chanting "Hail Mother India" as they were flown out of Kabul, stated that India has to honour the "Strategic Partnership Agreement" signed between the two countries in 2011.
Under the agreement, the two nations arranged a security cooperation, that was enforced under the "framework of the Partnership Council", a bilateral partnership headed by the foreign ministers of India and Afghanistan.
Before the takeover of Kabul by the Taliban, India had fully supported the idea of a "sovereign, democratic, and peaceful Afghanistan". It had also backed the "Afghan-led, Afghan-owned, and Afghan-controlled" peace process.
The Taliban have accused India of supporting the now-deposed President Ashraf Ghani.
So far, India has evacuated 552 people from Afghanistan, including Indian officials, Indian citizens, and Afghans of Hindu and Sikh backgrounds.
Further, India has also transported several batches of Afghan refugees from Doha to Dushanbe.
On August 16, it was announced that India was "facilitating" the return of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus wishing to leave because of the deteriorating security conditions.
The country also introduced a "fast-track" visa category for applications from Afghanistan on August 17.
India, however, has been criticised for only "prioritising" the evacuation of Indian-Afghans and not paying any heed to Muslim Afghans which are much larger in numbers.
Haidari has also criticised other governments in Southern and Central Asia for not standing with the Afghan people.
Following the Taliban takeover, the US has evacuated more than 20,000 people from Afghanistan, with 80% of those people being Afghan nationals.
In addition to the US, the UK, Turkey, Pakistan, and Germany have also evacuated thousands of people from Afghanistan.
there is some truth to this as Modi's govt dropped many tonnes of ammunition for afghan govt troops use but obviously the USA taking thousands of support staff for aircraft hangars away meant that this will largely not get used by them but by TAliban

There is very little known about the Afghan Sikhs and their position in Afghan society other than being a minority in a Muslim country.
Being a trading and business community I imagine they are probably seen as an economically successful and prosperous community.
This of course may likely foster envy amongst Muslim Afghans and make them a target.
Being traders they probably stick to what they know and replicate their methods in Afghanistan in the UK.
For example, I notice any large shops (retail stores with large floor space) is quickly divided into about 5 or 6 sub-units and turned into bric-a-brac stores and it gives a bazaar type feeling.
They also foster the biradari system as well .
I remember watching a documentary where the youths were crying because they do not have access to quality education because of their kuffar status , the labelling of their homes businesses by yellow flags , the constant pressurising for becoming muslim, being beaten by schoolmasters etc . It sounds like they had a tough life and yet conversely held a position of respect due to their lack of hera pheri , they would hold people's money for them , transport it to others .

There were less than 700 Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan at the time of the 2020 gurdwara attack. Since then, at least 400 of them have migrated to India in batches. Once a country with over one lakh Sikhs and Hindus, Afghanistan saw an exodus after the mujahideen took over in 1992.
If this correct then the number left must be in double figures.
the numbers don't make sense if you do a tally of number claimed airlifted against remainder counted at gurdwara Sahib
my guess is there is around 650 people
