    This normally happens. I'm sure if you're aware of Indian judicial system you know this. They will appeal to the higher court. We say he tried to copy guru Saab ji. There are pictures. But he would say no he wasn't copying. People present will testify for him. What will you do? He doesn't even come to the court personally .

How can you even think of forcibly converting someone? And shoot someone who is tied? It's even more shameful for their parents.     1. There is no strong alternative to badal at the moment. Maan group have lost people's faith because of Kirpan/parliament issue. 2. Badal is very clever and has strong links with leaders from left right and centre. He divides and rules Sikh community. Money is another big thing when it comes to elections. Where will you get a leader who has no history, with lots of financial backing and is completely familiar with Sikh issues? 3. Sikhs abroad ie from all the major countries if get together and form a party....I can't say if I am dreaming. And go back to fight elections ? I think I am dreaming. 4. People in Punjab were fed up with the blood shed during 80s. They don't want another uprising like that. Nobody gained anything except youth getting killed. Centre has strongly embedded there recruits into the Sikh organisation. You will be stopped before you know it. Who will you trust? My grand grand mother laughs when she listens to this. She is 84, an amritdhari devout Sikh who practices without failure. She says" hale tak ehna ton punjabi suba hi nahin laya Gaya. Apas vich hi ladi jande ne"? So true.

    Guruvah, only Isis can answer that. But you don't need to go to Iraq because USA decided on air strikes. Isis will be history soon. I can already see them running and some can't because they are over weight and here comes the bmb.

    Whats in a name? Guru sahib wanted equality but unfortunately it is still a distant dream. Some Amritdharis and Singhs only think they are above others and closer to god and create that division themselves. They think low of others. Some sehajdharis and regular Sikhs are proud of their historical misls and want to use it with their names. At least they have kept Singh whereas some have even stopped using that.

    Good post. Glad people haven't shouted at you for asking those questions. Society is a different place now. Everyone has his own version of truth and how to pray or meditate. I have seen many Sikhs who meditate, do all paths but say that they are still incomplete. They still are nothing in front of their indriyaan. Many are full of hatred for Hindus and Muslims. Same in other religions you can find many who haven't achieved success and peace of mind and they are after the other religions. But the matter of fact - god created man and then rest is a long story. The crux is to be good and do good and lead a simple life - if you can considering the level of distractions these days. Meditation will come "Sehaje".

    It won't affect you because you are probably sitting abroad. It will affect us in Punjab. Inside story. Believe it or not. This division is created by badals and they are probably laughing now. This is master plan with Junior chautala to keep Haryana money separate and invest it in the private industry in Haryana. Obviously badals and chautalas will benefit even more when chautalas return to power. People are creating too much noise about sgpc money so they want to spilt it at least where they have strong links. Does everyone know about badals businesses in Haryana and in Delhi and on/near Delhi Haryana border?

    Badals are manipulative and run state machinery for their own benefits. But who will listen? They are very close to centre. Singhs outside Punjab can't do anything. To change the system you need to be part of the system otherwise you are branded as a traitor.
