Only reason i got involved in this discussion is because i don't want aanother forum member to feel isolated by being put on mod permanently by this random method the forum runners use. Same tactics the rogue member uses to target certain members is being used by the forum runners. Again to the person who will be targeted don't take it personally. This threat is given after a thread is started on AKJ simran by a member they don't care about. Sangat, don't take it personally. The people who should be banned for attacking Taksal and Gursikhs, among others have been kept alive on this forum for many years. Hey in every other post related to attacks, one poster (you know who I am talking about) always says press charges and get the police involved. When3HO are exposed on this forum, this member yells defamation and wants people charged. When one of his favorite cults gets exposed the same happens; defamation/harassment charge should be put in to the police. But in this case when a PUNJABI Sikh is assaulted by at least 4 men, he slanders the victim. Where is the out cry for police involvement? The poster is in that region, so where is the call to the police and collecting info so this victim, who he slanders, can be helped? I have added nothing but simply collected this information through observation.

Here you have started the whole topic on a false premise. Tell us, when SGPC took on the task to standardize Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji? And why would SGPC take on the task of standardizing Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji? Let's look at this logically. Baba Deep Singh ji gave Shaheedi in 1757. DamDami Bir was written in 1706. In half a century Baba Deep Singh ji or another Sikh could not write one more DamDami Bir? Say it takes one year to hand write one Saroop. That would mean we would have 50 or Saroops of DamDami Bir. Baba Deep Singh ji and Bhai Mani Singh ji were not a two man army. Many Gursikhs had the ability to write Saroops. The fact of the matter is people like controversies. Do not deprive yourself or another Sikh of learning modern warfare and learning modern weapons. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji did not send the nirmala Sikhs to learn the vedant scriptures to learn spiritual wisdom. They were sent to gain what their scriptures taught and teach it to the Sikhs. This allowed Sikhs to equip themselves with more tools. The same can be done by joining armies of today who can teach you modern warfare with modern weapons. Now let's look at the tuk on ang 919, which speaks of the Vedas: ਵੇਦਾ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਤਮੁ ਸੋ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਬੇਤਾਲਿਆ ॥ In the vedas Naam is prime, but they don't hear it and they wander around like demons. Let's make this a little more clear and ask Guru Sahib what the Vedas consist of: gauVI mhlw 1 ] gourree mehalaa 1 || Gauree, First Mehla: jnim mrY qRY gux ihqkwru ] janam marai thrai gun hithakaar || One who loves the three qualities is subject to birth and death. cwry byd kQih Awkwru ] chaarae baedh kathhehi aakaar || The four Vedas speak only of the visible forms. qIin AvsQw khih viKAwnu ] theen avasathhaa kehehi vakhiaan || They describe and explain the three states of mind, qurIAwvsQw siqgur qy hir jwnu ]1] thureeaavasathhaa sathigur thae har jaan ||1|| but the fourth state, union with the Lord, is known only through the True Guru. ||1|| Now let's ask Guru Sahib and see what the body consist of on ang 1343: ਏਹੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਹੈ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਧਾਤੁ ॥ This body is the three gunas in reality. Let's make it even more simpler for everyone. Listen further from ang 1276: ਬੇਦ ਬਾਣੀ ਜਗੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਕਰੇ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥ Through the Vedas the world is only contemplating on the three gunas. ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਜਮ ਡੰਡੁ ਸਹੈ ਮਰਿ ਜਨਮੈ ਵਾਰੋ ਵਾਰ ॥ Without the Naam, the messenger of death makes them suffer and they are born many times. ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਪਾਏ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥੧॥ Meeting Satguru, one is liberated and finds the door of salvation. What conclusion have you come to now? Do you see how the body and the Vedas are no different? They consist of the same three gunas and are held in bondage to them, even though the Naam is in both of them. The Sikhs who support the vedas as having the Naam really have to watch what they say because they are implying the Vedas can give you Naam because the Naam is in the Vedas (compatible with gurmat, etc). Such logic falls in the gutter because so does the body have the Naam inside. Then how come I am not jivan mukht or can't make others jivan mukht? As Sant Baba Gurbachan explained in his Katha and as Gurbani explains, ONLY Satguru can give anyone mukhti. Nothing is compatible with Gurmat/Gurbani because they lack the fourth state; Dhan Dhan Satguru Nanak Dev ji.

Vaheguru does not have wants. Vaheguru wanted them to carry it..........MEGA LOL!!!!! What kind of Supreme Being would have desires? A Christian God would, but not the God who created creation and lives detached from creation. Japji Sahib is clear, Vaheguru has no wants. Secondly, tera pana meeta lagae in the way you contextualize it is a quarter baked idea. Hindus and Muslims went off the path of Vaheguru and the Gurus criticize them for doing so. By your understanding the Gurus did not accept Vahegurus Hukam. But this goes deeper. Gurbani says Vaheguru and Gurus are one and the same. So in reality, Vaheguru did not accept his own Hukam and wrote against it when criticizing Hindus and Muslims for going off the path. There is other things Vaheguru did not accept of his Hukam, but to describe one is enough to show, how your thoughts don't materialize into spiritual wisdom.
